We're a large fit out company and have used Meters Direct for years. Great service, great products and very competitive prices. They are our go to supplier of skirtings and architraves.

Absolutely superb!!! I was looking through online and found Metres Direct, emailed to say what I was after and they came straight back to me. I ordered the 3x3m pine boards in the right width/thickness. All arrived well packaged. Excellent service, products, support, help and advice. Communication was excellent all through the process.
I would highly recommend and definitely use them again.

Ordered square groove architrave for new extension, I wanted a certain size groove to fit an LED strip, the guys at Metresdirect were able to help. Product and lighting look amazing!

Joe from the sales department was very helpful. He contacted me to check my order was correct. He discussed the different lengths of skirting board and architrave as I wasn't really sure on what I had ordered. What he suggested was spot on. Great service and advice for a novice like myself.

I ordered skirting boards and architrave from Metres Direct. The first clue that all was not well was when, having ordered and paid in full on line, I received a second invoice by email asking for extra money. I ignored it on the assumption that it was an error. When the order arrived, the wrong item had been sent for the architrave - I ordered door sets and received 4.2m lengths - which is too long for us to manage in our house. I called to request it be swapped, and the 0800 customer service number went to a vodafone voicemail! I did get a call back from Jeremy who first denied that door sets exist and tried telling me that what I had received was what I ordered. When I pointed out that door set is 3 pre cut lengths of wood, and is offered as a separate option on his website, he said they don't sell them. He then suggested that they come to my house and cut what I had received in half!!! I again asked to be sent what I had ordered and at this point he started shouting at me that I had enough architrave to do the job and should get a tradesman to come and cut it to size. When I suggested that he collect or I will simply get my credit card company to charge the item back to him, he finally agreed. I'm not confident that'll happen, but we'll see. Overall an unpleasant experience and a complete pain as I now have to order the architrave elsewhere and wait again for it to be delivered.

Excellant range of products, great quality and the skirting and architrave that I ordered was very well packed and a good price.
There was an issue with the 3rd party transport company which I raised with Joe (Metres Direct Sales Manager) who contacted them and was fully involved over the week contacting the company on a daily basis via email/phone, keeping me advised all the way to resolution. Excellant customer experience from Metres Direct, highly recommended. Would definatley use again should the need arise.

Guys I cannot fault your service. Ordered yesterday at 8.40am, dispatched and delivered at 9.15am today.

Ordered some architrave and skirting from Joe and am VERY happy with the quality of the goods, price and service. Beats all the local suppliers hands down. I was initially bit sceptical about ordering online but no worries whatsoever and would use every time in future.

Joe and the team did a great job with our skirting order. Tuffnells were very poor in not communicating with us about the delivery. We were unable to accept the delivery and the driver told me that it would be delivered on the Friday of the same week. No such luck. Joe spent the afternoon on the phone trying to find out where it was. Tuffnells eventually owned up to the fact that it had gone ‘missing’.
Joe arranged replacement skirting. This time it was delivered as per order.

Would I use them again? Oh yes. Tuffnells, no thank you.

I rarely write reviews but Metres Direct were so great to deal with that, albeit we have now finished our project, I was determined to record my thanks and appreciation for their service on Trust Pilot. The product is excellent quality and wonderful to sand where necessary and then paint. The service we received was first class. Unlike other companies I approached they went out of their way to ensure we received the product at short notice and exactly when we needed it. They were equally helpful in despatching a single further length to us when we found we needed it. I would throughly recommend Metres Direct and will definitely be using them again in the future.
