I am hoping this matter can be rectified. I bought a dress; it took weeks to arrive, the quality was horrendous, the fit was totally different to the one on the website. To make matters worse, on the day it was delivered I have tried to initiate a return for refund - they state they don’t do refunds and don’t pay for the return item. DO NOT PURCHASE - be warned

The positive reviews are without question disingenuous and I would advise anyone against purchasing any items from this company. Their refund policy is against UK consumer law and the poor quality of products received fall within the legal framework to return with a full refund. I would avoid this company at all costs.

This company is a scam. The dress I received was nothing like the photos on the website — cheap material, terrible quality, literally feels like a $2 dress, not a $135 one. Completely misleading advertising.

They do not give refunds, only store credit, and you have to pay return shipping yourself. After a month of back-and-forth emails, I still lost money and missed Christmas, which is what the dress was for.

Never order from this company. You will regret it 100%. You’re better off buying from SHEIN or TEMU.

**Avoid this site at all costs.** Last year I ordered a dress with expedited shipping. It took several weeks to arrive, and when it finally did, the dress was too big and made of cheap material. When I asked for a refund, customer service refused to return my money, insisting instead on issuing a gift card while deducting 5% for “processing fees.”

Against my better judgment, I tried ordering again this year. Two weeks ago (Christmas week), I paid for expedited shipping but never received tracking information. When I contacted them, I was told the dress was on backorder until February. Once again, they refused to issue a full refund, trying to push me toward a gift card and charging another 5% fee—even though they couldn’t deliver the product.

This company’s practices are unacceptable. Their customer service is unhelpful, their products are poor quality, and their refund policy is designed to keep your money. **Do not order from this site—it’s a scam.**

Worst experience !!!
Ordered a dress and I emailed them to cancel the order the following day ! Advised they couldn’t cancel this. Once arrived unopened I emailed to say as per below emails how do I return - they asked for photos etc .. then advised they don’t provide refunds I can only return for a credit note - even though i emailed to cancel the order within 48 hours. I went through post office and £33 was the cost of return !!! Which is half of the value of the dress for a credit note- so I have just lost £75 for dress and postage I tried to cancel !! Never again Over priced dresses and awful policies in place !

The quality of the dress I purchased from Mew Mew was excellent. I received thousands of compliments. I'm 5’3”, 127 lbs, and size large was a little loose, a medium may have been the perfect fit.
I recommend Mew Mew but understand that if you must return an item you only receive a store credit, but there are many gorgeous styles to choose from.
