Outstanding instrument!
I'm in the USA and ordered this directly from the mfg in Germany. Prior to purchasing I had a few questions that were promptly answered by Joerg (the owner of the company).
My cello was packaged safely and considering it went from Germany to Belgium then thru customs in Memphis and then another flight to Phoenix and a bit of truck time to my house the cello was surprisingly not too far out of tune.
For me the action is a bit high so I'll have to have some bridge work done but it's easier to lower a bridge than to raise it.
My only kick is the cello 'just' fits into the case.
The cello plays and sounds beautiful; very dynamic and powerful but with wonderful tone.
I am very happy with my purchase.

Gorgeous Violin
Despite the 9 hour time difference between me and the company, the communication was great, and everyone was friendly and helpful to work with. I ordered the Mezzo-forte colored line violin, with 5 strings and a built in pickup. I play outdoors and at roudy bars so I needed a violin that is less easy to break than my wooden one. Mezzo-forte did a beautiful job on the colour to my request (to match my carbon fiber bow) even though it took some time to find a supplier with my requested colour. I'm happy that I ordered the coloured line because I now have a beautiful unique instrument - definitely recommend.
The acoustic quality of the violin is even better than I expected and has a lovely tone. I'm looking forward to playing it in and experimenting more with it.

Items as described. Fast shipment, and food communication from the owner. Ordered a violin that was packed and delivered internationally to me in the USA.

Fine product, terrible shipping experience
This is not a rating for the product I received, which finally arrived as described/expected. Having ordered this violin in November, it is now March and I am still dealing with the fallout that resulted from poor shipping practices and communication. In short, I received a notification that FedEx was scheduled for a pickup, called Mezzo-Forte to make sure they received my original/updated shipping information, and was told by Mezzo Forte that although the shipment hadn't left their location they could not send it to my address (same as my billing address). Instead, they sent it to a location 2 states away. FedEx said it was up to the shipper to change the address, and Mezzo Forte was unwilling to do so. As a result, the import tax for my instrument was ALSO sent out of state, and I am still trying to figure out how to pay it properly (since it also has an address unaffiliated with me printed on it)

Great instrument, delivery could be better
The instrument is absolutely great, completely happy with both the violin and the bow
But please reconsider your delivery options. Deutsche Post & Czech Post are not a reliable combo. I have not received any delivery notifications at all - no delivery attempt, no SMS, no note in my mailbox. I had to go to the post office to find out whether the package is there or whether it's lost. I was lucky - the package was stored there.
