MGM Trades scam

I was recently scammed through a Facebook advertise of a vehicle in the UK. The payment was initiated through Stripe, reference number ref#WH231, and the transaction of £2155.
They use company names that are experts in transporting, and offering cars bought from auctions to explain selling below market-price!
The payment goes through MGM Trades Ltd, which is automatically brings me to MGM Global, as their sole entity.
They scammed out £2155, and I am only glad enough that car insurance company could backdate the insurance I purchased for the vehicle registration number of EF66HNP.
They listed the following cars too:

They also make a deep research of companies to sound legitimate, the phone number only rings, never answers, and they create links that they design to look like the company names they use for their scams.

I reported this to Action Fraud, IC3, police and my bank too, and the bank has notified Stripe. I am in possession of many pictures, emails and other evidences of the scam, and they seem like to show similarities with the so-called Cheap Automatic Cars for Sell Under £1000,Cheap Automatic Cars for Sell Under £1500,Cheap Automatic Cars for Sell Under £2000, Cheap Automatic Cars for Sell Under £2500, Cheap Automatic Cars for Sell Under £3500 and so on.

All cars advertised much below market-price, saying they were bought on auction, and they deliver it to buyers, therefore, initially no one can see, try and inspect the cars, the only contact is through some private emails or phone numbers, which were probably a part of a random calling number generator service, like most call centres.

100% SCAM

100% SCAM.
I would have given them zero stars if it was an option. The account results are a scam. They never invest your money. When you ask for your money they tell you that they need to charge a liquidation fee that needs to be paid via crypto before they will release your funds. They will never release your funds. The lying crooks who you should be aware of are Jeff Sims and a guy in finance called Dan. These guys are lying bottom feeders.

I would put negative 1 if I could

I would put negative 1 if I could. Jonathan pierce is a piece of work. He drove me insane asking me to invest more and at amounts he knew I could nor afford. He actually told me to go take out a loan so I could invest more. I thought there is something wrong here when they are asking you to take out a 20,000 to $50,000 loan. But when I asked to take a $400 withdrawal out ( my very first one) they are nowhere to be found. I can't contact him. It's been pending for almost a month now. For $400? Come on. He stated that if I couldn't afford a managed account than I should just close it out then. You know using scare tactics. Now that I actually want to. I can't get a hold of him. Isn't that amazing.

So dishonest

Please don't trust this site; after making a minor investment, everything appears to be running smoothly in two weeks. I sent out message after message requesting a withdrawal, but I got no response. They are all involved in this together; they are all thieves who prey on law-abiding citizens. You are an utter scum, and I genuinely hope you are apprehended sometime. AVOID AVOID!!!!!! However, after finding the wonderful firm STERGAIN, I'm currently leaving my family behind to live a better life. They pay well, allow for free withdrawals, and are simple to deal with. I advise.

AVOID MGM GLOBAL LIKE THE PLAGUE

As others have said here, if I could rate MGM Global with zero stars, I would. AVOID MGM GLOBAL LIKE THE PLAGUE.
ANY MONEY YOU SEND THEM IS ON A ONE-WAY TRIP.
YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN.
They first attracted me with an ad purporting to present the amazing success of other "investors". This was followed by calls from my own "personal broker", who claimed to have long experience in crypto, and who persuaded me that the banks and government will not allow you full control of you own funds, and at first this was borne out by the great difficulty I had in transferring money from my bank - always on the pretext that the bank was trying to protect me from scams, while the truth seemed to be that they were simply protecting their own deposits, for fear of an outrush to crypto.. At first it was only a few hundred dollars, but that soon grew to transfers of $40,000 AUD, eventually growing to $700,000 AUD and always with assurances that my investment was guaranteed, and matched by an equal investment from MGMG lobal. Then I was provided with login credentials enabling me to access their system showing how much my personal trading account had grown to. In addition to my personal trading account, I was also persuaded to invest equally large amounts into a "project", which amalgamated funds from 50 other investors, each of us having a 2% share in the final profits, and those apparent profits were extremely impressive. But when my account's maturity date finally came around,, I was told that I would have to pay a further $120,000 USD representing a so-called tax of 1.8% of my profits. To demonstrate their good faith - and doubtless to lull me into a false sense of security - they also helped me set up a digital wallet to store my crypto distribution in. Eventually they transferred actual crypto funds into it - although with the restriction that they were somehow blocked until I paid the "tax" for them to be released to me.
The whole scam is based on engaging our greed and fantasies of wealth in order to make us believe what we want so much to be true, so that we miss the warning signs along the way that are so obvious in retrospect.
The perennial lessons are:
1. If it seems to be too good to be true, it probably is.
AND
2. Don't gamble (and it is a gamble) more than you can afford to lose.

Their claims will sound impressive, as will their apparent profit showing in their system, and they will always have a ready answer to any complaints or questions you may raise, but it's all lies. It's easy to be tempted by the promise of wealth, but the only people getting wealthy from your investment with them will be MGM Global.

They pretend to be located in London, but their calls to you will always come from a spoofed local number in Australia, and calls to the phone number of their supposed main office will never be answered, and all you'll get is a recording that the number is "inactive".

If I could give a 0 rating I would as…

If I could give a 0 rating I would as “one” is too high. They are despicable scammers. They constantly ring my home number at unsocial times. I have asked them to remove my details from their system several times and they still ring. Luckily, I was able to stop bank payment to them as I discovered very quickly online that they are scammers

MGM Global

Do not believe MGM Global; at first, they make small investment and within two weeks, everything seems to be going well. Therefore, broker John will put pressure on you to increase your investment. After two weeks, I added to my investment. However, there was pressure to add more, which I was unable to do quickly enough. I was given to another advisor, who informed me that my account would be suspended if I did not deposit more money within 72 hours. Since I was unable to, I requested a refund. I was told I wouldn't receive a single dime. Because my account was stopped, I was unable to contact them and was locked out of it. I realized I needed extra assistance. After speaking with 𝖤quitiguard, they were able to recover my money, and I terminated my account myself as a result.
I caution everyone. It is a fraud. Please be cautious.

I've been with MGM Global for two years…

I've been with MGM Global for two years now, and I have no complaints. Technical support is impressively responsive, providing instant assistance whenever required. Although funds withdrawal to my bank may not be lightning-fast, it usually takes no more than a couple of days, which is acceptable to me. The overall experience has been smooth and reliable.
