Being 31 and having to comb your hair over to the side or wear a hat all the time wasn’t ideal. Knowing that my 3 brothers and dad are either bald or balding didn’t fill me with hope and I didn’t realise what options there were out there really other than having a transplant.

My brother put me in touch with Dean to have a free consultation about hair restoration, there was no pressure to commit, he just gave me the facts and what progress we could see.
I saw my brothers results from where he started to where he finished and I wanted to progress the same.
By just following a routine that takes no time at all, I have surpassed where I thought my hair would be and now I have soo much more confidence.
I didn’t tell the guys at work or my barber and everyone has commented on how much thicker, darker and further forward my hair is now.
I can’t recommend the process enough.
All the staff are really pleasant and you ever get a coffee/ tea while you are there.

Over the moon with the results!!
Before I talk about the results, I’d just like to say that Dean and the girls have been great! I always feel welcome, I’ve never once felt like just a customer. Simple things like remembering how I have my coffee, asking how home life and work is going, remembering little detail and taking an interest in the customer goes a long way.
I had my free consultation with Dean, there was no pushy salesmanship or trying to sell the most expensive product. He simply explained the science behind hair loss, cause, prevention and therapies in a way that I could easily understand.
It was an eye opener to say the least. I was so relieved to find that where I thought my hair was gone for good, I still had tiny starved hairs that we could see on the screen using the microscopy camera, and that we could bring them hairs back using laser therapy and medication rather than a hair transplant.
As the months passed, I could see the difference in the thickness of my hair, my confidence began to return, I no longer wear a hat all the time and now I’ve almost forgotten that it was all I’d think about.
The best thing for me was to see my progress pictures! My brother is now having the same treatment after he saw my results and he’s just as happy with the results.

So pleased I chose MHR Clinic. My hair was thinning massively with patches of baldness. I was beginning to lose my self confidence and would wear a hat or cap everywhere! After a consultation with the amazing Dean I went on a 12 month laser, medication and herbal treatment course, and the results have been absolutely fantastic. If you stick to the plan and commit to it fully you begin to see progress after a few months. Now after just finishing the 12 months I’m over the moon with the results! My hair was getting thinner and thinner and I didn’t know what to do, I’d been to the doctors and didn’t have a thyroid problem or zinc deficiency. I tried shampoos and shop bought products but no change. Then I started to follow MHR on Instagram and was impressed by the results in the pictures. I went along to the Manchester (Rostherne) MHR and spoke to Sarah and decided to sign up for the 8 month course. This involved herbal tablets and applying Minoxidil daily and laser treatment fortnightly for 40 mins. It is such a relaxing experience. Bethan makes sure you have tea or coffee and takes care of putting the machine on and follow up appointments. She always has a welcoming smile. There are TVs in the rooms and free WIFI. You can't feel the laser , no heat, no discomfort. Dean did regular consultations to check my progress and little by little it started to thicken, then new growth. It got shiny. My work colleagues noticed it first, then my hairdresser. I'm very happy with the results and although my course is finished I can contine with the products to maintain the growth. Just finished my 12 month treatment and all I can say is it works! I would be bald right now if I didn't go ahead with this treatment. The looks on people's faces when you show them your hairline from before is enough to see this for me. I was balding, now I'm not. It's that simple. If you're worried about your hair go here!

Really happy I chose these guys. I was skeptical about this kind of treatment but the results so far 6 months in have been excellent. I approached them due to thinning at the front and back thinking a transplant would be the way but was introduced to the laser therapy. My hair is on its way back and I'm looking forward to the results when completing the treatment. Definitely speak to MHR first before you lay out cash on a transplant.

I was starting to notice my hair thinning, particularly when it was wet, and was starting to contemplate shaving it all off. Luckily before I did I saw the results a friend was having and asked what he’d done. He recommended MHR Manchester.

I was still a bit sceptical about the whole process but thought it was worth giving it a go, even if it just got me through my wedding a few months later.

I’ve had a really good experience. Sarah, Dean, Bethan, Jodie and the team are all very approachable, friendly and really helpful. It’s a very relaxed environment, ideal for getting a bit of admin boxed off whilst you’re being treated.

I’ve had some great results, none surgically. Even my hair stylist is impressed/ relieved, I think he thought there was going to be no need for him pretty soon!

If you follow the recommendations and commit to it, it really does work!

Well, where do I start !

From the first port of contact with Sarah, the service and professionalism has been nothing but outstanding.

This is a big thing for me to go through, I was constantly reassured by everyone involved and my questions were answered so quickly, whether it be by email or phone.

On the day of surgery, Dr Kunnure and the 2 gorgeous ladies that assisted him, were amazing.

My blood pressure was monitored, and Dr Kunnure was so reassuring. He made it very clear that the safety and wellbeing during my transplant was paramount, and he would never put me at risk.

It was not as bad as I predicted, and I went home as planned, with a clear pack of instructions.

There was some soreness as I would expect, but the most worrying thing for me was to get the hairline correct. I wanted it to be age appropriate.

Just Wow ! Dr Kunnure and the 2 ladies did the most amazing job, just to see it straight after the op, made me a very happy man !

I was called from the practice on 2 occasions after the op, to check on my well being, and had a follow up assessment with Sarah at the practice yesterday.

Whilst I appreciate many people travel to Turkey for their transplants, and the results that I have seen are just amazing, for me, it was a personal choice.

I wanted to be local to home, and after carrying out extensive research, and having 2 other consultations, I am so pleased with my choice and the procedure.

The person that helped me make the decision to go with MHR, was Sarah.

Knowledgable, incredibly bright, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I was very sceptical when I first went to the clinic. Everyone was very helpful, professional and kind!
After about 6 weeks I could see lots of new hair growing, especially on my temples. By the end of the course I had so much hair I felt I had gone back to my 40's again! I am 70!

Amazing place, my hairs back as thick as it’s ever been after around 4 months, the staff are all extremely friendly too. Recommend to anyone and everyone who needs treatment!

Women’s hair loss is not something most of us want to discuss… I was fairly desperate and very nervous when I first plucked up courage to contact MHR. I was made to feel comfortable and have been pleased with the results which we’re slow at first but happy with the eventual result… it’s an ongoing process. On the whole the staff were great, I would recommend.

I was extremely hesitant to discuss my hair loss with anyone, but MHR Clinic made this easy for me. My consultation with Sarah was very reassuring and filled me with the confidence to get the treatment done. All the staff are super helpful, friendly and attentive making this experience the best it can be for me, and I look forward to the months to come!

They bombard you with incessant calls and emails numerous times a week, months after showing the slightest bit of interest. Their persistent nagging early on resulted in them being blocked on all fronts, as they came across as incredibly immature and unprofessional. So much so, they haven't even cottoned on that all their efforts have been futile, as they are still calling and showing up in my blocklist!

Your best bet is to stay away from this company who are incidentally actually based in Harewood House, West Yorkshire, not Harrogate, North Yorkshire misleading everyone on their website. Harrogate has a posh and professional connotation, which this company certainly doesn't have.

I signed up with MHR in April last year for an 8 month course of treatment at a cost of £3080, they assured me that after this time frame i would have a thick head of hair, however after just over 5 months into the treatment it was clear to me that my hair had made no visible signs of improvement, also i had an allergic reaction to the hair thickening product which made my face swell up...
I initially asked for a part refund of £500 and explained i was not happy with the condition or indeed the results as promised, MHR responded that i should continue with the treatment and judge after the next 3 months and finish the treatment, but if anything my hair was worse than when i started the treatment with them.
Basically you take 3 natural herbal tablets , the Minoxidil can also be purchased on line at a fraction of the cost that MHR charge you, and the fortnightly laser treatment did absolutely nothing for me.
I wished i had gone with my instincts and gone ahead with an actual hair transplant at less the cost than MHR charged me ! - i do not have the money to waste on what was and is quite clearly a rip off treatment plan, i feel i have been mislead by this company and robbed of £3000 by my own stupidity, i am just a regular guy i am not rich and really cannot afford to lose my money like this.
i wished i had had some more honest and realistic reviews to read before i parted with my money in such a foolhardy manor, if you are thinking of this treatment i would advise you to reconsider and go ahead with an actual hair transplant and NOT hair restoration... it simply does not work !

MHR Minoxidil is by far the best formulation I have used. Best use and results is alongside their bespoke laser treatment plans. All staff are very helpful and friendly - putting you at ease and making you feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

Just approaching the end of my 12 month course and the visible changes are immense. My hair is back ! It was definitely worth it , can't believe how it's magically regrown...really really great results.
