An excellent FUE transplant experience at MHR clinic in Knutsford
I recently had a hair transplant at the Knutsford clinic. I first met Gordon several months ago and he provided me with an honest assessment of my hair loss and what could be achieved through an FUE procedure. I then met Dr Kunnure a few weeks before my procedure. I admit I found the prospect of surgery quite overwhelming at times but Gordon, Dr Kunnure and Gillian, the practice manager, really put my mind at ease. The clinic is discreetly located and the clinical setting has been done to a very high standard. Dr Kunnure has a great reputation and I was not disappointed. He really listened to my concerns and challenged my expectations in a really constructive manner. I had a lot of input into the "design" of my hairline and the execution was top drawer. The Doctor is supported by a fantastic clinical team - Paula and Nikki (probably misspelt sorry) - who between them have done hundreds of transplants. They were really knowledgeable, attentive and like the Doctor, acted with care and professionalism throughout. I was really impressed with how comfortable and relaxed I was made to feel throughout. For those considering FUE, just do it! That said, don't underestimate the procedure - it is surgery and the recovery can be testing, particularly when sleeping upright for two weeks. Make sure to look after yourself and follow the aftercare instructions to the letter! I'm only 3 weeks in and starting to experience some shock loss, but I'm super happy with the result and look forward to it all growing back (and making me look 15 years younger haha). Highly recommend MHR without hesitation - a fantastic team! A special thanks to Gordon and Gillian who have really looked after me and continue to make themselves available.

I have just finished an 8 month program of laser hair treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results! I’ve just completed my first plan with the Manchester Hair Clinic and I’m genuinely impressed with every aspect of the experience. The initial consultation with Dean was thorough, informative, and he answered every question I had. The bi-weekly laser sessions were quick, efficient, and carried out in a relaxed environment.
A special mention to the front-of-house team, who handled multiple missed and rescheduled appointments with complete ease.
I originally assumed I would need a transplant, but the combination of low-level laser light therapy, herbal tablets, and topical sprays worked wonders.

After considering a hair transplant for quite a while I took the plunge and booked an initial consultation in Harrogate. From that first meeting I found the entire team to be extremely professional and easy to deal with. I was nervous about the procedure which was carried out in November 2024 but everything was explained in detail every step of the way by Anna. The transplant was carried out in Knutsford and although it was a long day, I was looked after well by the staff. The after care instructions and follow up appointments ensure the best result possible and a year on I am extremely happy with the results. The best in the business
I looked in the dictionary for the definition of 'great' and it just had two names, Anna/Natalie and told me to visit MHR Clinic in Harrogate.
From my very first visit back in February the communication, flexibility, knowledge and general friendliness and warmth has been second to none, I have thoroughly enjoyed the bi-weekly visits to Harrogate and will miss the warm welcome, regular compliments ;) and professional and personal conversation.
I've now completed my course of 18 laser sessions with accompanying medication over the last 8 months and have seen phenomenal results in hair regrowth, hair healthiness and total reduction in visible baldness. When I walked through those doors back in Feb my confidence was at at an all time low, busy work life, hectic home life with two toddlers and no real plan on how to escape the inevitability of baldness, fast forward to now and confidence has never been higher, the worries are gone and I've used the same period to completely transform my lifestyle, my body and my general wellbeing and mental health.
I think it goes without saying if you are on the fence and reading this review, then go for it, don't hesitate, take action now and go and see the lovely Anna and Natalie, you will not regret it.

FUE hair transplant
I recently had a FUE hair transplant and over the moon with everything so far.
Had been wanting a hair transplant for years so decided go ahead with it. I got 3 consultations from clinics in the Leeds/Manchester areas and MHR in Harrogate was the one that I picked.
Anna the consultant at Harrogate made me feel at ease, was very professional and was clear with what the procedure would entail. She also answered all questions I had, especially questions regarding minoxidil and finasteride which I’m now using the topical sprays that are helping.
The transplant I had was performed at the Knutsford clinic which I also have no complaints about. The procedure went smoothly and efficiently, was very organised. Gillian the surgery manager dealt with my pre and post surgery questions and concerns. Big shout out to Dr Kunnure and the technicians as they did a wonderful job.
Two weeks have pasted now, been back to the Harrogate clinic for a check up and everything is healing okay. Very happy to have had my hair transplant at MHR as they have done a great job and excited for the results!

Hair Transformation
I have just completed a 12-month programme of Low-Level Laser Therapy with MHR Clinic - Harrogate. The results are beyond my wildest dreams and the whole process has been handled with great professionalism, kindness and consideration. Anna and Natalie who run the operation at Harewood, near Harrogate, are super friendly and really want to make sure their clients are happy and comfortable with the process they are going through. They will answer any questions you have, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
I initially visited MHR in September 2024. I was suffering from thinning hair on my crown and a gradually receding hairline. I wasn't sure that there was anything wrong with the hair that wasn't thinning - it seemed ok at the time.
The treatment itself is very simple. You go along once every fortnight or so to sit for 40 mins under a kind of cap that emits laser therapy onto your scalp. It does not hurt or feel of anything at all. I just sat there working on my laptop - there's free Wi-Fi. As well as the laser therapy, I was prescribed finasteride to take every day along with some herbal supplements. Although they offer different treatments such as transplants, they did not try to sell me anything I did not need and were confident that the laser therapy and meds would do the trick.
Results after 6 months were really positive, and I felt much better in myself as my confidence increased just due to my hair looking fuller and better.
After 12 months of this treatment, my hair has been transformed. Hair has regrown on the crown and is much thicker. It's also thickened on the temples and part of where it had previously receded. The remainder of the hair (which I previously thought was ok) has also thickened, changed colour and is much healthier than before. I was thinking I would need to go down the shaved head route at one point. Now I am growing my hair longer than I have in years. I am absolutely delighted! I will need to continue with the meds and supplements but by doing so I will continue to have a full head of hair to be proud of.
Thanks to everyone at MHR who helped me on this journey. I would not hesitate to recommend the company and team to anyone thinking of having such treatment.

Easier to manage my hair
I became very self conscious of my thinning hair and receding hairline. My hairdresser is brilliant but was unable to come up with a solution. I found the MHR clinic and my hair is thicker and much easier to manage.
I have the bonus of enjoyable visits and time with kind and helpful staff in Harewood. Nothing is too much trouble.
