I was reached out to my the MHR clinic about a consultation about getting a hair transplant as for many years I had been deliberating on whether or not to get one done. I finally decided to make the change to get a consultation with them to see what they had to offer and answer the questions I have about the treatment and medication I would have to take going forward. I had my consultation in December 2023 when I was at the point of either having to have a hair transplant or shave my hair and at not even 30 years old I needed to make the change and have a consultation as it was really effecting my mindset and confidence. I was given an honest but fair judgement from the consultants and they gave me the option to have a hair transplant or receive the laser hair treatment and I subsequently chose the later option and have done a 12 month treatment of it with taking daily tablets of finasteride and herbal tablets also and never ever looked back. Everyone who works there is really friendly and lovely and made my experience their so welcoming and answered any questions I had during my time there. I have noticed significant improvement in my hair loss being stopped and hair has regrown on my crown which was balding at a rapid rate and still require another course of action but very happy with progress and ultimately it's made me so much happier and got my confidence back and therefore in such a better place than I was! I can not rate this company for people who are contemplating getting a hair transplant or laser hair treatment as I've had it done and never ever looked back! Consultants and people there are lovely and have made the experience worthwhile and easy going. They are super helpful and can answer all of any questions! Honestly one of the best decision I've made to date in life with gaining my confidence back!

The team can’t do enough to alleviate any anxieties that you may have - there is also no feeling of being pressurised into signing up for a treatment plan - the treatment involves daily medication (prescription and herbal) - use of a spray on the scalp (twice a day) and a relaxing 40 minute heat treatment session on the scalp every 2 weeks at the clinic

I chose MHR based on reviews and didn’t contact any other hair restoration companies after my initial consultation with Dean - I naively thought that a transplant would be my only option before contacting MHR

You have an assessment at approximately 4 monthly intervals to check on progress if you choose a 12 month plan - I recently had my 8 month assessment and was really pleased with the results when compared to the images of my scalp at the initial consultation

I can’t praise MHR enough and highly recommend having a consultation to understand the process and discuss a treatment plan that you can then take time to consider without any obligation to continue

After undergoing the 8-month LLLT restoration process at the MHR Clinic Harrogate, I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Almost a year ago, I wouldn’t leave the house without wearing a hat, my confidence was on the floor and I had an underlying sadness that wouldn’t go away because I was losing my hair. I did some last minute research in hopes that there was something I could do to change this and save my hair. I came across MHR Clinic and from the very first consultation, I felt like I was in good hands. I was listened to, I felt understood and I felt like I’d found the help I’d been searching for. After 8 months of LLLT, topical medication and oral herbal vitamins, I’ve restored my hair to a level that I feel confident without a hat again! I know my hair will never be what it was, or that it will ever be “perfect”, but I’m at a point of feeling comfortable with that part of my appearance again. The whole process was made so pleasant from the lovely staff and welcoming environment, to a point where I feel almost sad that I won’t be going back every 2 weeks anymore. It’s not the cheapest process or decision to make, my honestly, it was worth every penny! If you’ve got the financial ability to do it, I would say don’t hesitate - save your hair whilst you can!

From the outset my experience with MHR (Leeds) has been second to none. I have felt respected and listened to, with genuine empathy and understanding about my hair loss. From my initial consultation, a bespoke treatment plan was put in place, allaying all my fears and giving me confidence and faith in the process. I have felt welcomed, involved and fully supported in my treatment journey by both Anna and Natalie. I felt reasurred every step of the way and all my questions answered with expertise, knowledge, care and understanding. At the time of writing this, the treatment is proving to be a great success, and my confidence has soared. I would highly recommend MHR because they take the time to understand you as a person and as an individual.

From start to finish the process has been really smooth. Initially I had my doubts about what actually would work. At the initial consultation, I was immediately put at ease by the knowledge and information that was given to me and I was happy to go ahead with an 8 month Low Level Laser Therapy Plan. I'm now at the end of my plan and are really happy with the results, although I will be sad not to be seeing the lovely and hospitable Anna and Natalie anymore. I'm really happy I choose MHR and the Harrogate location to go through with my treatment and would definitely recommend it to anybody suffering with hair loss.

The most bizarre experience of my life! I visited MHR clinic about a year ago whilst going through some bad hair loss. As a woman, there didn't seem to be a lot out there to help us but I thought I'd give this place a go to see if I could get some answers.

Turned up to the appointment and the 'consultant' looked more like a car salesman than someone with medical experience. He took photographs of my scalp with an iPad under (what seemed to be, purposefully) harsh lighting, then flicked through them in front of me with a 'look how bad it is!' kind of manner. He diagnosed me with TE, with NO biopsy done - literally just from looking at my scalp. It's impossible to know without a biopsy, just fyi.

After a good 15 mins of crapping on my self esteem, he then proposed a treatment regime costing around £3,000. What was the treatment, you ask? Vitamins and minoxidil spray. Minoxidil spray which you can buy over the counter for £15.00.

Steer clear of these snake oil salesmen. They might be good for hair transplants or whatever, but not for much else.

Really impressive set up, friendly and informative experts who give you a full overview of everything relating to the treatment.

Results were amazing, would fully recommend a visit.

Having started to experience thinning hair and increased recession of my hairline just over 18 months ago, I (sceptically) decided to try the non invasive (laser and medication) hair restoration approach available at MHR.

The results have been excellent with a dramatic improvement in hair thickness and density. The recession of my hairline has stopped and the treatment has "filled in the gaps" :)

The staff are excellent and make for a truly painless process- special mention to Dean who's always friendly and cheerful and completely removes the stigma/embarrassment wrongly associated with the process.

I'd urge anyone struggling with hair loss to give it a try. Having now been through the treatment, my key takeaways were that hair loss is a fairly simple process that can be easily avoided if you do something about it as quickly as possible

I was feeling low, stress was winning and I was a few months away from my hairdresser ditching the scissors for a shaver. Enter team MHR. During 12 months of treatment my self-consciousness literally grew into self-confidence and I’m back to having regular haircuts and even spending money on wax for the first time in years. The whole experience was a positive one, the MHR team were respectful, flexible and understanding throughout the process. Anna’s enthusiasm is infectious, she genuinely cares. It’s more than hair, this team gets that.

I started to recede in my mid 20’s and for years I felt extremely self conscious and embarrassed having my photo taken, meeting new people and being seen in public. I finally plucked up the courage to visit MHR clinic for a free consultation and immediately kicked myself for not visiting them sooner. From the initial consultation right through the FUE surgery, to my 10-month post op consultation, I felt really valued and cared for by all at MHR. They really do understand your concerns and explain the various ways to achieve your desired results, ensuring I was fully informed about all the different outcomes of various procedures. Ultimately I underwent FUE surgery, having just over 2000 grafts. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and pain free the surgery was. MHR walk you through all the post op do’s and dont’s which has resulted in an amazing end product which I could NOT be happier with. You do need to be a little patient, and I would suggest getting the procedure done in winter. You look a bit silly for the best part of two months, but it is completely worth it. My anxiety about my hairline has GONE. I have so much confidence and my mental health has been improved immeasurably. If you are considering a hair transplant, I cannot recommend MHR clinic enough!! I signed up to a 12-month program, and paid the fees, with - admittedly - some apprehension about the results I’d see.

I’m now 4-months in and whilst I could see I was making some progress, the comparison photos from my 4-month review against those taken on day 1 was very surprising and incredibly reassuring.

I am looking forward to seeing the continued improvements over the next 8 months and would certainly recommend the team and the process at MHR.
