Yellow POCO X5 Pro 5G Purchase

Like others looking at the reviews I was a little apprehensive about making a purchase on the site.
I made the plunge as the phone was £65 cheaper than on other sites. Placed the order on 28th August and it was finally delivered on 28th September so not the 6-8 days as advertised. Tracking via Royal Mail was supplied but not updated until the day of delivery.I did contact them twice by email and received their standard replies saying delays due customs etc. The phone arrived sealed with correct UK plug adaptors. Definitely the genuine article and I am really happy with it thus far. I little bit of a stressful purchase given the price but if you are prepared to wait and don't want things in a hurry then buy from these people.

Ordered item received no issues and no delays

Poor Quality, battery doesn't even last 12 hours

Poor customer service. I bought this smart watch on 1st May this year. The battery doesn't last longer than 12 hours. I have emailed the company direct who said to do a hard reset which I did but it still wasn't lasting. I emailed them back to say it hadn't worked and now they're ignoring me!!!

Thank you for your reply to my review. You did respond to me telling me to do a hard reset, which I did and it made no difference. I then emailed you back on 12th September 2023 to tell you this and that was when you didn't reply again. The fact remains my watch is not fit for purpose, it was bought 1st May this year, and I need either a replacement battery or, a replacement watch. If you would like to discuss this please let me have an email address or contact number and I will be happy to correspond with you. All I want is a watch that lasts longer than 12 hours. I ordered a phone. The description said delivery within 6-8 days. Almost a month has passed and still no phone.
Requests to cancel an order are simply ignored.
The site must provide reliable information and not deceive customers.

It arrived.......eventually

The item arrived over 4 weeks after the order placed (see below).
The price was great but was it worth the wait & the hassle of trying to chase up a company who you can't contact other than putting a review on Trustpilot?
I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 as a result of it arriving.....eventually.

Order place on 5th September, email received in 6th to say it had been shipped. Royal mail tracking states that they are expecting it & nothing further since.
Emails to miagadget just bounce back. This is not good enough & may be part of a big scam.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, this company is scamming people. I believe they send out 1 in 10 orders to make it look legit and the reviews on this page. They only reply to the positive comments and ignore the 1 Star reviews.

I'm still waiting over 3 weeks for a refund on a product I returned and now they aren't replying to any of my emails.

Fraudulent company DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Phone slow to arrive

UPDATE: Arrived on 23 Sept, the day my son was leaving for uni, so literally just in time!

I have ordered with Miagadget previously and all worked fine. However this second order (MOR000052421) is sadly not the same. I ordered on 7 Sept 2023 and the package has still not been received by the Royal Mail and therefore I also don't have it!

I have contacted the company via email and it has been ignored. The form on the website doesn't work and the telephone number on the website doesn't function either.

So in desperation I am hoping this review gets answered by Miagadget. If not I will need to contact my credit card company for a refund.

27.09.23 - The item has arrived today so I have changed from one star to three. This item has taken nearly 5 weeks to arrive. In all honesty for the savings that you are making on your purchase I would have been prepared to wait this length of time - but was obviously concerned when an item has a short delivery time and then never appears! (I think Miagadget would do better to tell people the wait time of 5 days will never happen, they perhaps think people won't buy from them and they may not, but at least they wouldn't have lots of disgruntled people trying to figure out if they have purchased from a genuine site - again for the savings had they told me it was 5-6 weeks delivery I would have waited without complaining)

Pleasantly Surprised

I must first say that I was a little apprehensive in buying my new phone Xiaomi POCO X5 PRO from Miagadget due to the mixture of negative and positive experiences on Trustpilot. The price difference between Miagadget and elsewhere (including Xiaomi's own UK site) was considerable, Miagadget was over £100 cheaper.
I did 'take the risk' and buy on Monday morning 21st August 2023 and up until Saturday 26th August it still said the same 'sender has dispatched and we're expecting it' message on Royal Mail Tracking. Terrible 5 days I hasten to add as I wondered if I would ever get my new phone and was mentally composing my angry email to the company.
Alas on the 26th August 2023 the notification changed to indicate Royal Mail now had the item and it was on it's way to me. A combination of the weekend and a Bank holiday on the Monday meant I finally received the phone on the morning of Tuesday 29th August 2023.
Two weeks later as I write this review, I'm still pleased with the new phone, adapter included and the money saved.

Parcel hasn’t arrived

Item still hasn't arrived.

Ordered a new phone on 26 August, paid extra for insured shipping (6-8 business days) and STILL haven't received my order! DPD tracking number says item still not in their network and emailing MiaGadget just gets a response of 'please wait longer'.

IF the item arrives I will update this review and rating accordingly but 2 weeks and no item is unacceptable as of right now.

3 weeks and still no phone!

Update (21 Sep 2023): Experience is back to 1 star.

I have not received the product nor heard of any update from the company yet.

I have asked them to mark the original item for return to sender. I also asked them to cancel the order and refund the amount, or arrange for a fresh delivery of the same phone model.

If the company does not respond in 24 hours, I will raise a dispute with my bank with whom I have already spoken to. Mastercard can process disputes up to 120 days from the date of the transaction.

Edit (11 SEP 2023): I have heard back from the company's customer service team. However the reason they have provided for the delay in delivery is vague and without any supporting proof. According to them my item delivery has been delayed because it is undergoing a random security check by the UK Government!

They could be telling the truth or may be bluffing, in which case it would be a case of fraud.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now and have raised my review rating for at least reaching back to me.

I guess we will find out the truth about them over the next few days.

I'll update the review and speak to my bank's fraud department if needed, but I really hope that I don't have to!

(7 SEP 2023): There is no way to contact the company's customer service team.

The customer service email and phone numbers on their contacts page are not working. I tried to raise a support ticket by logging into their website. Even that didn't work.

I ordered a mobile phone on 28 Aug (Order #MOR000051854) with 6-8 day delivery. Royal Mail says it has not received the item from the company.

This selling site is a scam

I ordered a Xiaomi phone and it's been more that 8 days. I haven't received my phone. Even the tracking information is inadequate. It's states that the delivery company is still expecting it, even after 8 days. I tired contacting them, they didn't reply, not even a confirmation mail that we will resolve your issue. I tired writing an email to them, again no reply. Their number given on website is not functional. I don't want to say this but it seem like these people are scamming customers.
