Perfect estate agent to get your house sorted out in a friendly and easy way. The team is so helpful despite me being annoying and asking for lots of viewings. I highly recommend them.

From the minute we met the delightful and charming Dawn, we were both hooked!! After 2 minutes of talking with her, it felt like we had known her for years. She was totally professional and so very easy to talk to.After getting to know the rest of the staff, I feel that they have become friends rather than just estate agents. The situation in which we were selling was not an easy one but we were confident in the knowledge that Michael Nicholas would do everything in their power to help out, which they ultimately did. Wecan not praise this company enough and if ever we find ourselves either selling or buying in the Bristol area, we will be coming straight back to you. Viewed a property with MNEA and fell in love with the property. Initially the team were very helpful and helped with any questions I had. Sadly when I came to offer on the property I was told that I wouldn't need to put forward my best and final offer yet and they would re contact me as there was already offers on the table that would mean it would need to go to final offers (baring in mind I offered full price).
Fully understood this and waited patiently only to be called by them (delayed) and said someone had offered a great deal, the vendor wasn't out for money and was happy with who they had chosen. This initially came across very much like personal circumstances were thought of during the decision. The agent then confirmed they were not going to best offers. I was equally annoyed and disappointed that when I had initially offered they had not advised me they were not going to final offers as had I of known this I would offered my final offer as my initial offer. In fact they told me they would be back in contact to take it as it was likely to be final offers given the offers already! I was also annoyed that it also seemed to be based on purchasers circumstances, of which no one had asked me. They seemed uninterested in my circumstances when I then tired to explain them and when I tried to talk about them I was made to feel like I couldn't possibly get a mortgage approved. I have already had a mortgage in principle, I now have an approved mortgage for a higher amount. It very much felt like they had no care for me as a potential buyer and I got the impression they had their preferences to start with for who they wanted to purchase. Sadly they also didn't respond to my email. One of the worst agent experiences I have had so far.

Michael sold my house recently without an issue and we have just moved out. The chain and other various professionals involved in it made the whole process really painful. I am not sure I would have kept my sanity if it wasn’t for Dawn and Jo @ Michael Nicholas! Everyone in the office is so friendly, helpful and approachable. I would definitely recommend this estate agency.

A great agency to work for I called the office Tuesday and spoke to Keelan and I had work the next day if I had an issue Keelan dealt with it straight away a good guy . I will definitely recommend to anyone and look forward to working with Nicolas Michael again

The worst agency in the UK. They agreed with me £18 per hour and then they started to pay me £16.5
I was contacting them many times they said : no problem we will do it... Then again on the payslip£16.5
They have stolen my money!
After 3 weeks I decided to quit the job because of their cheating.
Warning for everyone ; don't sign the contract with Nicholas Michael limited!
Staff totally unprofessional!

We originally bought our place over 5 years ago through Michael Nicholas, and they were great all the way along. We've now recently sold the same property through them, and their knowledge of the local area around Fishponds / Downend / Staple Hill is unparalleled. Michael came round to take photos of the property and prepare the listing, and was really considerate all the way along. We initially had some challenges getting viewings in, but Michael and the team were really responsive in finding solutions. From then on, once we had a buyer, Jo, Dawn and the team were fantastic in facilitating the sale and pushing on our behalf when needed. All in all I'd strongly recommend them if you're buying or selling in Fishponds / Downend / Staple Hill.

I chose MN after meeting Michael who prided himself with regards to customer care/ chain management. I ensured my house was ready for sale using their contractor (spruce up) and broker recommendation. Within 2 days of putting the house on market I received a full offer. I didn't realise that Michael would not be managing the sale as I was passed over to Dawn/Jo - did not know & lacked customer skills even getting my surname wrong for weeks. Dawn assured me the buyer was ideal (full asking price and deposit) but could I take the house off the market for a week so they could sell (Michael assured me they would sell quickly). This was my mistake which I now regret as I did not know MN would be selling the buyers house (MN never stated but I later realised) in fact they should not have taken my house off the market (new agent against this type of operation) but MN were greedy and looking to get double commission. The house sold in May but only at end of July did buyer have survey/valuation. I patiently waited, again my mistake thinking MN were proactive (I had to chase up Dawn/Jo regarding progress). With 2 competing interests MN were not giving me full customer support. The buyers were time wasters looking for a price reduction Dawn had no information to hand to verify request (trying to mange both of us via a phone call). Complained to Dawn/Michael (Dawn using personal attacks) but were incredibly rude, not supportive & I truly saw what MN are like. I have now moved my house to a new professional Agent (recom by sol). BE VERY CAREFUL choosing MN you will be passed over to less experienced staff the partners will not be managing your sale as you may believe. They are looking to pass blame and are happy to risk chain falling apart by competing seller/buyer requirements. They are truly the WORST Estate Agent I have ever used.
