I felt very honoured, as my son asked me to assist him in choosing an engagement ring for his girlfriend. I booked an appointment at Michael Spiers in Exeter, and we received excellent customer service from the moment we arrived. Rosie Miller assisted us, treated us both to a glass of champagne, and gave us so much of her time and advice. My son liked two platinum and diamond engagement rings, and asked if he could consider them overnight. Rosie said that she would reserve them for him, and that he could contact her on the following day with his thoughts, but for him to take his time as it was a big purchase. He contacted Rosie on the following morning, and she booked an appointment for us. We were once again greeted with a glass of champagne, and time was given for him to review the two rings, and then select the engagement ring for his girlfriend. Rosie made this experience an extremely special occasion for my son and I - she took our photograph so that we could have this as a memory, and provided us with a bottle of champagne. I am extremely grateful to Rosie, and have no hesitation in providing the jewellers with the five stars that is fully deserved.

I am pleased to say that my son has just proposed, and his girlfriend is absolutely delighted with the ring (and it fits!!). Thank you Rosie.

Having visited the shop a number of times I can honestly say that I have always been greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Most recently collecting a watch and being helped by Lee. The whole customer experience was brilliant from the initial greeting to the fitting of the timepiece and finally leaving the store. Thank you Lee and all the staff in the Exeter Branch.

I purchased a Breitling from Michael Spiers and had an amazing experience with Melanie who took me through every step of the purchase and helped me get my dream watch. Melanie was extremely knowledgeable on the watches and was happy to go through all the options and explain the benefits of each brand. Once I had chosen and paid the watch was shipped to me the same day and arrived with me the next day by signed royal mail. The watch was presented lovely and came with a personal note thanking me for my business as well as a separate parcel with a bottle of champagne again thanking me for the purchase. The gift was an amazing gesture and these things make all the difference when purchasing items like this it really makes you feel special and its all about the little touches at this level. After a couple of days Melanie made contact to make sure everything was ok with the watch and I know how to work everything, again this shows the extra care and that they care about you as a client. I would and will recommend Melanie and Michael Spiers to anyone and I will be back to purchase more in the future!

I love this place! First they made my daughters 21st a day to remember and now my husband.

I ordered a Rolex not knowing if I’d managed to get it or not. Fast forward and I did. This was a surprise for my husbands 50th and his retirement from the fire service.
It was top secret! Austin from start to finish absolutely made it possible by guiding me through the process, sorting the gift wrapping and even following my instructions for the day.

My husband was greeted with a glass of champagne, a bottle for his birthday and even happy birthday played on the sound system!

They sat him down and presented this beautifully wrapped box with a full explanation on how to use the watch, look after the watch and the history of the watch.

This is the second milestone within our family that Austin has been part of. You get a beautiful piece of jewellery for the money but the personal service and experience just makes it.

Visited Michael Spiers (Exeter) looking for a Trilogy ring for my wife, & Tag Heuer watch for myself. Greeted by Sam, he was very helpful, friendly, & attentive, offering refreshments, & great advice on both potential purchases. Needless to say he helped with both of our requirements. Left the store very pleased, can’t recommend both Sam & the store enough, if you are looking for some fine jewellery & watches. Well done Sam.

Not only are the staff totally professional, they are also friendly which is fairly rare in a watch dealership such as this.
Jeremy who I assume is their Rolex expert explained all aspects of what was involved in the service so that there were no nasty surprises, and it was a delight to use the services of Michael Spiers!
I have no hesitation in recommending Jeremy and the team!

How refreshing to find such good customer service, from first visit to final collection of my wife’s 50th birthday present of a diamond necklace. Tina at Exeter store was very accommodating and very helpful so much so she sourced the item I wanted from another store in a very quick time. On collection Tina played her part perfectly as it was not only a surprise present but a surprise visit as my wife didn’t even know we were collecting it. Beautiful necklace, excellent customer service and made to feel very special.

Thanks all at Michael Spiers and especially Tina for the old fashioned customer service that’s so important and she was so natural at it. Very refreshing.

Registered my interest in Rolex 126900 Airking. Tried to get updates, calls never returned. Terrible service or lack of service. Very clear they do not value their customers. It is only this branch that offers such bad service. NEVER EVER DEAL HERE. If you have any issues register your complaint directly with Rolex. If they see a pattern of this bad service they can lose their Rolex Authorised agent Status which would be well deserved.

Visited Michael Spiers (Exeter) this afternoon to have my Omega watch strap changed. That lady who served me was very professional, friendly and helpful. Exactly what I needed and what I have received before from this excellent jewellers.

I have brought two watches and the experience has been amazing. Would not buy a watch from anyone else.

Our last 2 visits in the last month (feb/23) were flawless, nothing is too much and no pressure. Jeremy is a pleasure to deal with , knowledgeable and friendly and this extends thru out the whole team and of course Jess who is always great.Customer service is simply second to none , even the payment is left to the very last thing.

We were kindly greeted at the door, and attended to expertly by Dani Whillians who immediately put us at our ease .....kindly offering a beverage and listening attentively to our sad story of the loss of a 50 year engagement ring . Her kind words and delightful attitude were sincerely appreciated throughout our visit ....maintaining a caring and considerate response despite our decision to defer, in order to consider the possibility of having a remaining pendant in the style of the lost ring ....converted into a replica of the lost item......... she was an outstanding ambassador for every principle of "Top Customer Care" and continued to support us despite not on this occasion "making a sale" .........thanks Dani ..👍

Enquired at Michael Spiers Exeter as to the value and quality of inherited jewellery with a view to using part to make new design item for 16th birthday. Pearls remain at valuation but remaining gold, diamonds and sapphires into new design. Exeter branch very helpful, timely and encouraging of new business. Due to location tried to complete redesign at Plymouth branch responding to request to deposit gold, diamonds and sapphires for completion. Wholly different experience with staff at Plymouth outlet, with an uncomfortable, rather superior attitude that was frankly patronising and demeaning. Our feedback would be to to search out a good quality independent designer/jeweller. Such a pity for Michael Spiers as fathers love to spoil their daughters with mixture of heritage heir looms, from their own parents and grandparents with new materials.

Amazing service from Tom and the team in Plymouth when I picked up my Tag Heuer Senna watch. Nice touch with the champagne...Blown away! Look forward to coming back in the future

I purchased a beautiful ring for my wife and they changed stones for me.
Also my watches are amazing. Great friendly staff with a visible passion for customer satisfaction.
Made me feel valued. Kept me informed and welcomed me into the shops with a friendly smile. I won’t bother going anywhere else for jewellery etc.

Popped in to buy something nice for our anniversary and again received star treatment from the staff who have always made me feel valued whenever I’ve visited and for whatever reason - thanks Chelsi (I hope I remembered that right, do let me otherwise and I’ll correct - getting old!).

I also visited the Rolex exhibition and saw George Savage, the Rolex Manager who has helped me over the years. He is a great host and can talk Rolex fluently which is fabulous. I genuinely had fun pining over the many exhibition timepieces, handling them trying them on. If you appreciate Rolex you’ll know what I’m trying to explain. I highly recommend you pop in next time you pass, if you haven’t yet you may well be surprised with what you find.

I had a problem with a watch I bought 2 years ago.
After spending about 30 minutes in the branch the problem was sorted and made me a very happy customer
