Good service, bad merchandise
I ordered 150 bulbs - iris and grape hyacinth. The price was reasonable and they were shipped promptly. Five of them came up. I contacted customer service by phone (bad connection with India and a very helpful "agent" issued a merchandise credit. I used it for a flower pot. Customer service good, merchandise lousy.

Don't buy live plants
This company delivers live plants in 7+ days. I received mine on 8th day. Needless to say what condition of plant you get. Some is completely dead, some is half live and you still have a hope. And they don't provide the refund. Before you are attracted by their prices, check some good nurseries.

Charged 3 months in advance
I recently ordered a few things from Michigan bulb Co. and received what they had in stock, which I was happy with.
What I did not like was the fact that they charged my credit card for items that were not in stock nor would be for 3 months.
It would seem to me any reputable company should not charge your credit card until the item ships!

Use to be a great company!
I have, along with several family members been ordering from this company for years, and as long as the items were bulbs the orders have always been fine. (Potted plants are not a good idea, unless you want dead twigs). But I do not know when this happened but they are now part of a much larger company. The selection they have is nothing like it use to be. But that way you have to make more smaller orders from all of there "sister companies". All of these company's have very poor shipping standards. Mi Bulb Co, keeps taking orders for items they never have in stock, even when their website says its in stock and ready to ship. Its not really in stock and ready to ship. They change the ship date on a whim, but never inform you of the change. You call and speak to customer service and they are not helpful at all. You email them and never receive any sort of reply. The only good thing is you can now cancel the whole order online. But then they are very slow about offering the refund. (Up to 30 days!!!) It truly is a shame, use to be great. Since there are 10-15 "sister companies" they should just make one website, so I would not have to place five orders and wait for five different shipments. It's such a shame.
