Credit Card Restrictions
My wife & I used the same credit card to make deposits in our accounts. Both accts were locked for a week and we had to submit photos of the credit card & our drivers licenses. They said we were now good to go. It happened again.
Another call & we submitted all the photos a second. They said we're good again but after another week - same problem. Another call & they finally said we needed different cards for each acct. We used a different card in her acct - same problem. Another call & this time they said her card has to have her name on it, not a different card with my name. Another week then used a different card with her name - same problem. Another call & this time they said the first card didn't get removed from her acct! Eventually got her acct working. My acct still went through multiple one-week locks as I made call after call for help even after a supervisor escalated the case. Only after several months did someone finally tell me today that, even though our accts now used different cards with our own names, my card was NEVER GOING TO WORK because it was PERMANENTLY FLAGGED and no one there could remove that flag! I'm supposed to apply for another credit card account because of their refusal to remove a flag on this card that is no longer necessary? Worst customer service ever! Clear detailed explanation of their requirements on their website could have avoided countless wasted hours of their time & mine.
