I spent 40 minutes with a customer…

I spent 40 minutes with a customer service representative in India. He was arrogant and would not answer my questions or request to speak to someone in the US who might understand me. He told me I did not have Microsoft on my Mac because I did not have office suite. However I've had Microsoft Word and Messenger since purchasing my Mac. Since Microsoft can not keep up with the Apple technology I am screwed. All of my word docs are gone and I cannot retrieve them until Microsoft comes up with the technology or unless I want to pay $7.95 monthly and then can read my documents as long as I keep paying. Extortion?? Tried to call the corporate office since numbers are invalid. Don't purchase
Microsoft products. They do not stand behind their products.

Touched Windows 10 S mode for the first…

Touched Windows 10 S mode for the first time. I needed a basic laptop to set up with a local account only.
First of all, if you are unlucky enough to get a PC with OEM Windows 10 S mode on it, you can only go through the initial setup with a Microsoft account. There is no option to continue without a Microsoft account. So I set up Windows with my Microsoft account, then created the local account and deleted my account. So far so good. I then wanted to install an application. This is when I bumped into S mode. With Windows 10 S mode, you can only install software from the Microsoft App Store!
Bit of research later, I find I can commute Windows 10 S mode to Windows 10 Home using an app called Windows 10 S mode switch, which is available from the MS store, but it can only be installed with a Microsoft account.
At this point a deep breath is required, followed by a count to 10.
So I sign into my MS account to install the switch and then my account becomes irreversibly entwined with the local account.
I create a new local account, and finally delete the old local account.
Looks like everything is working OK now, but what a faff! Left me with nothing but negative feeling towards Microsoft. If I wanted nannying, I'd pay a dominatrix. How about a front page option on first switch on to choose between for dummies and advanced install paths.

Terrible customer service have been…

Terrible customer service have been weeks trying to get a refund but they say it didn’t qualify for a refund but as it was a unauthorised payment made by my 5 year old son who can not read and has autism I feel Microsoft is making it deliberately difficult for customers to get hold of any one or any means of complaining directly poor service and attitude to customers

Great Customer Support..

Recently I had a problem with a Microsoft product I bought. During my move to another home, something happened and required technical help. I contacted Microsoft and was able to speak to one of the advisers and then another and they sorted my problem within a couple of days. I was surprised and quite happy when they came back to me with a solution. I was beginning to lose hope. I really like the product and use it day in and day out with my desktop pc. This has only created more loyalty and trust towards the company. Thanks Microsoft

This is by far the worst "customer…

This is by far the worst "customer service" I have ever had. I have been locked out of my account for no reason I know of and cannot speak to anyone who has a decent command of English (and this is not a prejudicial comment, I expact to be able to speak to someone who has fluent English/American English); I have now had a message to say my Outlook will be up and running in 30 days and that I can log in in the meantime but this is simply not happening. As soon as the account is up and running again (this year, next year, sometime, never ...) I am moving everything away from Outlook and am advising everyone I know with an Outlook account to do the same ASAP - you would get better service from a market stall than this multinational who are clearly only interested in profit.

This is an ongoing Microsoft disaster. Tried several options, all failed - ended up reinstalling W10, losing all bookmaarks and some apps, and guess what, no change. Microsoft are useless.

I had a technical problem with office…

I had a technical problem with office and data transfer. The tech could not understand the problem, or didn't want to, and cut me off. That was repeated another couple of times with different technicians.
In the end I found the cause of the problem and with a small bit of brainpower resolved the issue.

Most likely Microsoft Outlook.com sells our mailaddresses to spammers.

Microsoft is downright corrupted! I and great many users of Hotmail/outlook.com have been haunted by spammers of all kinds for many many years now - and quite some spammers with an outlook.com-address(!!!). Microsoft doesn't do ANYTHING to stop them - even worse: they support them! Meanwhile I'm convinced Microsoft even sells our emailaddresses to spammers - how else do they get their information....? Especially when you realize this NEVER happens to your Gmail-account...at least not with me: I never ever have spam in my Gmail-inbox and hardly ever in my spamfile! And I don't think this is a coíncidence!!! I've mailed Microsoft outlook servicedesk tens of times for an explaination .....NO response whatsoever! And who remains silent, admits to this crime! So just to let you know!!!

I tried to log in to my account and it…

I tried to log in to my account and it says the password is not correct so I recovered the password and changed it then tried to sign in again but it failed I tried a couple more times still it did not work so I thought I may of spelt it wrong so I changed it again and then tried to sign in again but guess what it wouldn't sign me in again so I decided to get in contact with Microsoft outlook and find out what is going on with my account so I clicked on contact Us and it brought up a virtual assistant which gave me the run around and didn't have the answer I was looking for just kept saying to change my password so in the end it asked if I wanted to talk to a person which I did so clicked on the link and what do you know it sent me to the sign in screen and I've gone through this a couple of times now and I can find no way to talk to a real person seems like Microsoft does not want to get involved with their customers problems and put in a loop which stops you from speaking with them which to me is absolutely appalling!

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Sent me the wrong item. Couldn't get through on phone to arrange a return. Eventually got a call back from India. Pretended he couldn't hear me and hung up. Can't get any sense out of the useless automated online chat. Not the service you expect when you've just spent £2200 with them and they've sent the wrong thing. Terrible terrible service
