Great products and good customer service.
Staff always helpfull and friendly

Date of Finished Installation 14th August 2025

Installed; Guttering, Soffits, Facias, 1 Composite Front Door, 2 Side Doors, Pair of French Doors, 1 Bay Window, 14 Other Windows and internal Window Boards.

With a full installation my worries were the amount of mess and potential damage. I need not of worried, no damage and minimal mess which they cleared up every day. Dustsheets were put down and things nearby were also covered in dustsheets.

We initially invited three companies to quote for the installation and then went to their premises to see the products. We choose Mid Kent Windows as they were competitive on price, their product seemed good and we liked the fact that they use their own fitters with years of experience and it is a family owed company.

Tony the sales chap from Mid Kent Windows came to see us first and went through everything and measured up. He was really good with suggestions. We asked that they send their best quote to us and we would let them know if they were successful.

Once we had all the quotes we choose Mid Kent Windows, at no time did they push for the sale or hassle us. The next step once we had signed the contract was for the survey to be completed.

Some time later Laurence came to do the survey. He was very thorough and took over a full day to complete everything. Again some really good suggestions to tweak things and that was so helpful along with the reasons why. Laurence was fantastic taking us through everything step by step.

We had some concerns that there may be damage to tiles when removing some of the windows. We raised this and Sid, the Installations Manager, come down to see us and had a look at where we though there may be problems, but he checked it over and put our minds at ease.

It took a little time to arrange specific dates for the install due to our own commitments but Mid Kent where very flexible with this.

The day of the installation arrived with the roofline being done first. Tim worked on that on his own and what a professional, everything so precise and the finish was excellent. I even took a look up on the scaffolding to see how the facias, soffits and guttering was coming along and also once it had been finished. It was a fantastic job, so much attention to detail.

Next we had Mark and Aaron working on the doors and windows and wow, how good both of these guys were. A Fantastic job and the finish was excellent, again the attention to detail was excellent, and we had no chipped or broken tiles. They were so good and careful.

Sid paid another visit to see how the installation was going and we said it has been excellent throughout.

We have had comments from people of how great everything looks and the transformation of the appearance of the house was exceptional.

After a week we had a slight problem with the French Doors which had dropped slightly, but Mid Kent were straight onto this and rectified the problem, brilliant after service.

I would fully recommend Mid Kent Windows to anyone. The fitters were brilliant, the finish is brilliant, the company is brilliant and we love the product.

Poor customer service. Do not honour their guarantees. I have a window with a seal that’s gone, the front door has significantly faded and the letter box is peeling! I can provide photos or alternatively I have uploaded these to my Google review. My advice…stay away from Mid Kent Terrible Windows and Doors

Mid Kent windows installed all new windows and external doors to my house, in addition to this, they changed all my guttering and facia boards. All of this work was done to an extremely high standard and the materials used all of the best quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mid Kent windows, I am certain you will be extremely pleased. In addition to this, they have readily come out to make any adjustments required even over a year since installation and in one instance, they rectified a problem with my guttering, which was down to a blockage from leaves without any charge to me.

From the initial visit by Tony, followed up by a surveyor then the fitters, Adam and Sean, the best experience by far. So pleased with our new stable door and gutters. Pricing super competitive and tremendous value for money. Thanks to all the team.

We decided to use Mid Kent Windows for a replacement window as we had used them 5 years previously for a replacement door with no issues. Having spoken to salesman GH and given measurements for the window return as requested we were provided with a verbal quote which was acceptable. GH came to the property on 5 April (arriving half an hour late with no apology) to take the order. He measured the window and said it was over 6 feet wide (we measured it at 5ft 9ins) and so the price would increase by over £50. This was reluctantly accepted and we asked if Mid Kent Windows would ‘swallow’ the additional cost to which GH responded with a categoric ‘no’. The order was completed and after GH left it was noted that he had put the window width on the order in millimetres – on converting this to imperial it was actually less than 6 feet ! We spoke to GH again who after saying the difference was because it was in millimetres then accepted his error and the quote reverted to that originally given and a revised contract was issued. By this time we were starting to lose confidence in Mid Kent Windows. A Surveyor then arrived on 9 April, who also turned up late with no apology. He had been given two different names and said he had come to look at two windows rather than one. This was the final straw and the order was cancelled on 10 April under the 7-day cooling off period. Needless to say we would not recommend this Company to anybody now.

We have used Mid Kent Windows for 3 different jobs over the last 3 years. We have now completed all the windows and doors on our house and the summerhouse.
From the salesman through to the surveyor to the fitter’s they have all been excellent.
We chose Mid Kent Windows as they manufacture all their own windows and doors and are very good quality.
Their fitters are all employees of the company, so no sub contracting out.
The price for their products the windows and doors
have been very competitive. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mid Kent Windows.

Excellent company to deal with from start to finish. From our initial contact with their salesman, Jim, we felt at ease and that we were dealing with a well established, professional local company. Jim listened carefully to our requirements and made objective suggestions to meet our needs. Once we agreed to proceed with the full replacement of our windows and doors, they were quick to arrange the required survey and then ensured that our order was processed quickly so that the manufacturing process could get underway. We were kept fully updated at all stages of our order by very friendly and helpful office staff and our installation was agreed ahead of schedule. On installation day we were greeted by 2 very friendly, professional and helpful fitters, Alan & Aaron, who completed an excellent job for us from start to finish, and again ahead of schedule. We are really pleased with the finished products and will be definitely recommending this company to our family and friends.

Excellent we had 5 new windows and a new front door expertly made and excellent quality on 20thJune 2024.We had a porch fitted some years earlier exceptional quality then.We wouldn’t use any other company. The young man Simon who fitted the windows was polite very efficient he completed the work in 3days and he left our home spotless. We would highly recommend Mid Kent Windows .

We have just had ten replacement windows installed. From the advice given at our initial meeting with Richard at the company showroom and right through the whole process, Mid Kent Windows kept us well informed and did exactly as they had promised. We are delighted with the finished result. The fitters (Mark and Alan) were punctual, polite, helpful and efficient. They really went the extra mile which we very much appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

From estimation to fitting the replacement of 6 windows, (originally fitted by Mid Kent 20years ago) was both efficient and trouble free.

We chose Mid Kent Windows as it is a family run business and we wanted to be able to deal with people who we could put a face to rather than a voice at the end of a phone. From start to finish it was excellent service, there was no pressure selling from the salesman, he listened to what we wanted and our order was made. The installers, Mark and Aaron arrived on time, they consulted with us throughout the installation to ensure every little detail was as we wanted. They were very professional, courteous and at the end of each day left our home clean and tidy. An excellent job.

Recommended to MKW by a neighbour and we have had excellent service from beginning to end. We needed a low threshold garden door with new adjacent window fitting after I had a very bad fall out of the house onto concrete because door fitted by builder in 1998 had a dangerously high tread to step over. MKW Surveyor understood our needs, gave helpful knowledgeable advice and we now have a super step free door, . High quality product and superbly fitted by Alan Hartman of MKW. Some re plastering was needed to window reveal and it has all been completed to a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending MKW including helpful sales and office staff.

Had reason to contact Mid Kent Windows following an issue with a stable door which they fitted new late last year. Very quick response time for the engineer to visit and then consult the office on the best way to fix the issue. Engineer returned and within 4 hours had solved the problem and the door now works better than ever. From my first call to the office the matter was concluded within a week. Very pleased with MKW products and service. I would recommend MKW as you feel you are being looked after by professionals.

I wish I had used Mid Kent Windows for the other windows that I had replaced! Mid Kent were great to deal with from the initial quote to the installation of the two windows I needed. Mark and Aaron arrived as arranged and the windows were replaced efficiently and they left everything clean and tidy when they finished. Points to note would be a bit more communication about the installation date plus the scaffolders let me down on the removal of the scaffolding. It might help if they were given the customers contact details.
