There was no information or part number on the supreme base I received to tell me if it was the cheaper version or the more expensive one I paid for that held water. There was also a bolt and nut missing from the sleeve that was attached to the upright of the umbrella.
The umbrella was very well made and as a whole I am very happy with the umbrella and seems to be handling the wind very well so far

Quick delivery and easy installation

It was difficult to get a hold of a sales person about our order. This was a larger order for a resort making it necessary to ask questions and review details before placing the order. Your voicemail system is not working well. I got disconnected many times before I could even leave a message. Or it just rang and rang. And I don't think I ever got a response because I left a voice mail. It was when I sent a message through your website that I got a response. Still it took a couple of additional days before a sales person called me.

Customer service is nonexistent. Tried to use chat-box last week to obtain instructions for wood deck base plate. AI chatbox gave conflicting answers, then said the company would email me info, but they never did. When we ordered an umbrella, we accidentally ordered two. Tried repeatedly to call customer service /order desk to cancel the second umbrella, but phone line puts you on hold for about 90 seconds, then hangs up every time. Impossible to reach anyone. Tried chatbox again, it said to hold and that a human would participate. Left chatbox open for 48 hours, but nobody from the company ever came to deal with the problem.

This is our second cantilever umbrella purchase from Midtown Umbrellas. We have been pleased with our original purchase two years ago, and your email discount offered encouraged us to replace a second cantilever umbrella at this time. Your website is well laid out, easy to navigate, and you have a braod range of colours to choose from. We look forward to receiving our new umbrella in the coming week.

The product is good. The reason I only gave 3 stars was because response to email takes 2 days even with simple questions. When you call to try to get a quick answer, all they do is send a message to the person I want to reach that only responds in 2 day email.

Bought the core umbrella base with an extra 20 lb weight. It was hard finding a really heavy base for a free standing patio umbrella that wasn't filled with water or sand. It is easy to assemble and fits our patio perfectly. Love the wheels to be able to move it if needed.
