I don't know why I still haven't been contacted about my experience 6 years ago even though I have complained. I am not happy about it at all.

Ordered the Miko Neo and Swap boards through Kickstarter six years ago—still waiting. No updates, no delivery, no accountability. At this point, it feels like the project was abandoned. Backed it in good faith, but it’s clear they stopped caring once the funding came through. Wouldn’t trust future campaigns from this team.

I thought it would have had more features, my son likes it but he got bored with it fast because it doesnt really respond except when told to dance. Kinda sucks that the app or whatever costs money after all the thing already cost alot for the lack of things its supposed to do

Works well.
Works well. It connects easily to my Square Off Pro board. Allows me to play face-to-face as well as online with Lichess and Chess.com.

I ordered the Miko Neo and Swap boards on Kickstarter over six years ago and have never received anything. It's incredibly frustrating because I believed in the project and supported it from the beginning, but I was simply left behind. There was no delivery, and no real transparency about what happened. It's incredibly disappointing to invest time and money in something that never came to fruition.

Miko Grand Chess Is Not Worth It
The Miko chess pieces are difficult to grab, they often do not return to their correct and original position after clicking "reset the pieces" in the Miko apps. The movements by the pieces are clumsy and noisy. To move the chess pieces, one needs to press on the board with not too hard not too soft pressure and not everyone can perform this easily. Personally I do not recommended this heavy board for any chess lover. Competitive brands like Chessnut, GoChess and DGT are better options and long term investment.
