Shavely the Miles Car Rental customer representative has been very diligent and understanding in trying to sort out my compliant with Miles. Basically, I took a 5 day car rental contract with Miles for an agreed price. The car was to be rented from Thrifty. At Miami airport Florida, Thrifty took no notice of what I had paid to for and agreed with Miles CR and charged me AGAIN for the same car. Very underhand and unproffessional. Shavely, bless her is trying to sort this mess out.

I have a bad experience, because the car they show you on the picture is not the actual one, not mentioned 2 hrs waiting on line to get the car, which the fees when up as they give me a different car.
Thrifty was the company really bad service and gave me a dirty car

Reservations are out the window
made a reservation and was told no cars was available at that location waited for an hour for them to have one ready. While I was waiting several other customers with reservations was told anywhere from 2-6 hours before their cars would be ready. I don't understand why we can make reservations online several days out and this is the service we are met with. It seems like the order of people walking in is when the cars are being picked up and cleaned so we were fortunate enough to have showed up first.

I rented, through Miles Car Rental, a car for a trip. I mande the payment of U$ 371,16, under the reservation code n 18307002co0. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I had a problem with my credit card and I couldn't pick it up. So I've called several times on the Rental car number (786) 924-3825 to request a reservation cancelattion and my money back, but no one answers this number at any time during the day. I want my money back. For me it's been a bad experience.

PUBLICIDAD ENGAÑOSA; a los turistas nos dicen que con tarjeta debito se puede rentar un vehículo presentando el pase de abordar de regreso. pero no es así, después de un viaje de mas de tres horas, llegar a media noche y la respuesta es absurda por parte de ALAMO. NO ENTREGAN EL VEHICULO, porque el pase de abordar debe ser del día de entrega del vehículo. ¿ Quien llega a otro país, para devolverse al otro día o en menos de 24 horas? Lo peor, no devuelven el dinero y se amparan en las políticas de cancelación , pero la información por teléfono es otra. Solo les interesa tomar el dinero de los turistas y después negarles el servicio.
MISLEADING ADVERTISING; tourists tell us that with a debit card you can rent a vehicle by presenting the return boarding pass. but it is not like that, after a trip of more than three hours, arriving at midnight and the answer is absurd on the part of ALAMO. THEY DO NOT DELIVER THE VEHICLE, because the boarding pass must be from the day of delivery of the vehicle. Who arrives in another country, to return the next day or in less than 24 hours? The worst, they do not return the money and they take refuge in the cancellation policies, but the information by phone is another. They are only interested in taking the tourists' money and then denying them the service

The shuttle never came to pick me up.from the airport so I had to catch a taxi to the rental car company where no one answered the phone at the suite nor did I receive any assistance from their online assistant.

Where is my receipt?
Dears, the rental was very good with two exceptions:
1- I waited more than one hour in the line to get to the attendant and do the necesary paperwork to get my rented car. The waiting time is the longest I ever had in my life, including with Avis that normaly is well organized
2- I've been billed in my car for fuel and tolls about $260, howerever, I haven't recived the receipt for such charge, so, I don't know the reason for such a huge amount... did I get any fine?

So far so good! I've been having a rough few days and trying to find a rental is dizzying. Speaking with Daniela, she just took that stress right away and spoke to me kindly and gently. I have a pickup at 5pm...so fingers crossed that everything will be right in the world!
