Customer service has been great...I just wish I didn't have to use it so often. The value & quality of most of Military Hippie's products leaves much to be desired. They crack me up with their "suggested" prices...a cheap felt sweater advertised as $110 for sale on MH for $39.99...still a crummy ripoff that I ended up returning. It's almost insulting! Some items are cute & OK-ish, but their products, materials, sizing & quality are NOT reliable. Bummer!

Here is the bad. I placed in order for an item that was showing as in stock and I received a confirmation e-mail that the item would ship the next day. Then I received a follow-up e-mail telling me there was a delay, but giving no estimate on when the item would ship. My credit card was charged for the order, even though the item did not ship. That is the bad. I waited a few days and all I was getting in the mail were coupons. There was no update on expected shipping, nor did one show when I logged into their site. So, I decided to cancel. I called Military Hippie and the phone was answered after one ring. I requested a refund and the friendly customer service rep. proceeded to process it with no questions asked. I got a confirmation e-mail of the refund while I was still on the phone with her. It took a couple of days for the refund to show on my credit card, but it ultimately did. So, I feel that the customer service was good, even though the representation of "in stock" and ship dates were misleading. This would have been my first order with this company so I can't speak to the quality of their goods. Everyone should know that if a company does not meet their advertised ship date, and it is still prior to shipping, they must BY LAW allow you to cancel and give you a refund. Google "Mail Order Rule" and know your rights.

poor quality dress. I wear a size 12. The dress I order was an XL. It will only fit if I wore a size 4. Their return policy is horrible.

I bought a sweater and it was great so then it got lost and I ordered 3 more when they went on sale. They were cheap Chinese clothing quality that I never would have purchased again!!!!! One of the 3 was ok but 2 were embarrassing and I won’t wear 😡

Non-existent customer service. I am unable to return my items. NEVER AGAIN! $50.00 I will never see again.

Ordered a sweater before Christmas. Arrived “after” Christmas. Gifted the sweater a week past Christmas, granddaughter said it was ill-fitting. Tried to call the number on their website to return the sweater. Said their mailbox was full. Tried emailing, received a reply, told me my request to return the sweater had been turned over to a customer representative and they would give me an answer within 24 hours. (What is to review? It doesn’t fit and is ill-fitting and was not made properly). Never heard from a Military Hippie customer representative.
After no answer, I opened a dispute with my Visa company. The charge was reversed and Military Hippie did follow up to let me know they were not disputing the chargeback to my account. For this, and after weeks have gone by....I appreciate the fact that the money was finally refunded.

Pretty much everything you see on the website you can find on Aliexpress.com for much much cheaper. Quality not good, from China..but when you pay 10$ on Aliexpress it is not so infuriating than paying 55$ on Military hippie website...

I received my order today. Delivery was fast. Two weeks. The dress colour was not the same. It was white with flowers on the site. The actual colour is beige with flowers. Looks antique. Not happy with the colour at all.
I also purchased a jacket. Very poor quality.

The clothes looked so cute and I did read many of these bad reviews but thought "How bad can it be?" Ha! Not good! Clothes are very cheaply made and in cheap plastic wrapping. Everything has a cheesy tiny tag and its all made in China. Its too bad because they have a really cute style from the pictures, and if the quality was at least decent, I would have been a repeat customer. No directions on how to return and from what I have read, they appear to avoid returns. I knew that going in so my lost $ is my lesson learned. Bottom line, if you do still decide to purchase, just know you will probably be out the $$$ if you are not happy. Good luck!

HI EVERYONE I ORDERED A SHIRT FROM MILITARY HIPPIEAND I RECEIVED IT IN A TIMELY FASHION WHICH I SEE I WAS VERY LUCKY. THE QUALITY IS FINE SINCE IT REALLY IS JUST A T-SHIRT MATERIAL. I WAS GOING TO ORDER AGAIN FROM THEM THEIR DRESSES LOOK SO CUTE BUT WILL NOTRISK MY LUCK. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE INFO!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Placed an order prior to Christmas (Dec. 12), after 2 emails and a stop payment on my credit card, the item arrived January 18th. Shortly thereafter my credit card number was used in China without my consent so I had to shut down my card. Will not respond to return the item, DO NOT ORDER from this scam company.

Wow!! Wish I found this website before I placed my order!! If I could rate it less then one I definitely would. I am extremely frustrated at this point. This has been an absolute horrible first shopping experience with this company, and probably the last, which is disappointing given I quite liked their style (from pics anyway) and what they stood for - which I’m also beginning to question 😕 On January 16th, I placed an order and paid for expedited shipping so that it would arrive in time for my trip. I still have not received my parcel some 25 days later!!! I had to follow up twice via email before receiving a response from their Team which indicated they were looking into the lost parcel and would send out a new parcel at the end of the day if a response was not received. It further indicated that I would be contacted within a couple hours to advise the status. That was January 24th, and no one has contacted me with an update since!! I have since followed up via email on Jan 25th and again on Jan 30th, contacted them via messenger, as well as left multiple voicemails with their customer service – no response. Yet interesting enough my credit card payment was processed on January 17th. Imagine. I’m at a loss of what to do given I spent quite a bit of money also. I guess I will have to look into disputing it with my credit card company or some other form of action. Very disappointed.

I placed my order with Military Hippie on Jan 3, 2019. The invoice states that the order was filled on Jan 12 and I received it Jan 18th. As soon as I opened the package, it was not my order. Wrong items and wrong size. I called the 800# right away and left a message on the voice mail. I followed my call up with an email hoping for a faster response. To make a long story short, I made 11, yes 11 attempts to contact this company via email, phone, Instagram, Twitter to no avail. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. Never again.
Oh the box to check below says that the review will be sent to militaryhippie.com. They will not respond.

I placed an order on January 31 and expected to review my items within 3-5 business days. You are supposed to receive an email confirmation when it ships. On the 4th day I tried to reach them via email and did not receive a response so I tried calling and left a message. I never received a return call. I then came on here and noticed all the negative reviews (I should have read before purchasing) and panicked. I called again and this time left a message stating that I had read all the negative reviews and that I wanted a full refund (even though they don't give refunds, only exchanges) and that I had already contacted my attorney. Within 1 hour, I received a text and an email that I was issued a full refund. Glad they did the right thing but I would recommend not purchasing anything from this company.

I called customer service yesterday because I wanted to return a shirt It was the wrong color I wanted an even exchange they said there was no such a thing that you never get your money back only get credit so if I wanted to order another shirt with my color of preference I had to do it at another time and return the one I Got

Horrible & Worst Company I have ever dealt with!! I spent over $300 on first & only order.
I ordered a pair of boots the rest were a few sweaters
Sweaters were ugly & of cheap material, threw them in my closet never to be worn, the boots were too big
I shipped boots back the same day I received them & they kept the boots and never refunded my money !! I spent over $100 on the boots & $15 to ship back
Out $150 & they got the boots! After 6 months of fighting with them to return my money & them out right refusing & admitting they recieved the boots back I gave up !! They stole my money & should be in jail but instead they’re allowed to keep scamming people!! Go to Hell Millitary Hippie!

For the price of the items I ordered the quality is terrible. Fall cardigan? definitely not unless you live in a warm climate. So thin it's see through. I'll stick with a reputable company.

I ordered from them prior to reading these reviews, I must admit I was afraid of what I was going to get if I received it at all. To my surprise I received an email the next day that 1 item had shipped and the 2nd item there would be a delay. I got the 1st item by the end of the week the 2nd item showed up a couple days later. Quality, while probably not the best it certainly was not the worst either. I ordered the denim jacket it was nice and I got a lot of compliments on it so I'm pleased. The 2nd item was a sweater Addy fringe shawl cardigan in rust, this was not the highest quality sweater and the rust colors were more brown than pictured. I did keep both items and I've placed 1 more order and I'll post another review when I receive it.

It is impossible to return any item. You had better make sure you want to keep it or you will not be able to return it. I actually sent the item back and paid shipping charges and it was returned to me unopened. I have left over 10 messages and none were returned and I have emailed them about the same amount of time. I will NEVER buy from them again. They have horrible customer service.

This imconpany is a total scam . I spoke to Jesse on dec 23 by email and she said to return the items within 3 business days for a refund which I have done . I returned both my products totaling 120.00 which they recieved jan7 by tracking and I have called and left messages and emails at least 6 times to no avail now. I’m now going to have to call my bank and get this removed for fraud . They won’t return my email or calls and still no refund. The products are so horribly cheap . Please do yourself a favor and do not order from this company.
