We’ve used Millie’s kibble from first bringing our cocker spaniel home as a pup and he loves it - we started him on the Riverside mix and he now has the Gundog mix. Great food with no weird ingredie... See more

Contacted millies to get some advice on…
Contacted millies to get some advice on the best food for our Picky puppy. She has certain tolerances and they have supported us throughout (Amy the advisor). Our puppy loves the food and scoffs it everytime and we had no issues with her bowels since
Great service
I contacted them by email to find out the best food choice for my dog.
They responded the same day and were very informative and gave me some great advice on the best type and advised to purchase the small sample bags to start with to ensure my dog would not have any allergic reactions or intolerance.
My dog has been on Millie's wolfheart from 4 months old
My dog has been on Millie's wolfheart from about 4 months old. Its absolutely fantastic stuff no crap at all, very rarely farts and looks fantastic on it and there customer service is outstanding if your unsure on what food and how much. I also live on the isle of wight and never had an issue with delivery. It's not the cheapest but in my opinion is one of the best food out there. We also use there treats as well which are equally as good. I would highly recommend it.
Young puppy doing fantastic on Riverside
Our 5 month old collie/lurcher cross is doing great on the Riverside Mix. When we picked him up at 2 months he was underweight (2.5kg) and the smallest in the litter. We continued with Harringtons puppy kibble for several weeks but didn't see any improvement in conditions tried I'm on Lily's for a few more weeks. He did gain some weight and stopped looking skinny but his poo didn't really improve so I looked for a food with less carbs and decided on Millies Riverside Mix as the ingredients weren't too dissimilar. Well, apart from the fact that he is now nearly 10kg and has put some meat those ribs I've never seen such perfect dog poo.
I've been recording his weight weekly on the waltham.com puppy growth charts and the point where his food changes is obvious.
So, very happy with the food but also with the advice I was given both times I phoned, firstly to see if Ultima mix was suitable but they said not and to feed Riverside.
Fantastic Food
Fantastic food, Excellent customer services & fast delivery.

Their error
Paid for next day delivery , didn't get the food until 3 days later. When the food arrived it was the wrong food sent .. by now I've ran out of the food that I need due to waiting for delivery and they can't offer same day delivery even though it's their error. I now have to package it up and wait yet another day for hopefully the right food to turn up tomorrow.had I have just opened the bag without checking the label, I would have been stuck with food that I can't use that I paid over £70 for because they don't accept a return of opened food even though it's their error. And I would have to pay another £71.48 for the correct bag to be sent again. The manager was rude and had no customer service skills either. I will definitely not be buying from Millie's again.
Non existing customer service/food which makes dog sick
Have been purchasing Millies food since October last year. Unfortunately, the last bag we had received wasn't right. Smelled of and our puppy end up been sick after eating not even half of her morning allowance. I have called their customer service and have been told that it looks like it my Labrador developed some form of allergy to this particular mix (duck & veg). They also told me that we should be swapping between flavours to avoid any future allergies. Firstly I never heard of keep swapping dogs food specially if they have a sensitive stomach and when they are settled on the food. Secondly, I have rang about 3 month ago for an advice if there is a need to swap the food, and I have been informed that they don't see a reason why I should do that. Obviously they couldn't find any log with my last conversation with them.
Even thou I have found online people's opinions where their dogs have been sick on Millie's food they still refuse to accept that there can be something wrong with their food, ( I offered to send the food back to them to be tested) completely blamed me for it and refuse to help.
I have to say, we are deeply disappointed with the customer service. We have spend £54 on 12kg food which we have to throw away, just to be offered 4kg of something different. I have refuse the offer, don't need my puppy to end up being sick again.

Thank you for acknowledging my review.
I am highly disappointed as I haven't been informed about the need of swapping recipes when I spoke to your team about 3 months ago. On the other side I know people with dogs and the dogs are on the same food for years, so your suggestion seems rather inaccurate and suggesting that you don't really know that much about feeding dogs.
Secondly, yes you have offer us 4kg bag which I found insulting. I have informed you over the phone that the bag you have delivered to us recently has been just open. Our dog had not even 2 meals out of it as the content seemed contaminated (wrong smell) as our puppy end up being sick after eating few kibbles. I even offered to send the bag back hoping you will teste and replace it with different batch. So offering us 4kg for 12kg is rather poor customer service.
All you have done is just washed your hands away from the problem.
Under consumer rights I am intitle to a refund when the goods are unsatisfactory quality.

Aggressive pricing tactics and poor communication
Fantastic food for dogs. Although their aggressive pricing tactics have made me reconsider a different brand for next time I order. Pricing increases are not communicated and are just a “nice surprise” when you go to re-order. Prices haven’t come down in the same fashion since gas prices came down and not being told when they might return to normal. Honestly I wouldn’t have minded the increase so much if it was communicated to the customer in the proper way. I am paying 20 pounds more than so used to before covid, but disgusting really.
Before this gets a response, yes I use multi deals. And yes prices did go up due to gas, CO2 shortages etc, but these are no longer as they were when you increased prices.
Also customer service absolutely sucks, rude rude rude if you get a reply at all!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else
Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Quick delivery and the mutts love the smelly treats.
I just wanted to write how happy we are…
I just wanted to write how happy we are with Millies. We have been using them for 6 months and both dogs have shiny coats and enjoy their food each time ( Malinois X and GSD) When i got my puppy GSD i emailed them advice for what type of kibble to start him on. I got a reply within a day explaining the type of food up to him reaching 12 months. Very helpful and added bonus they are a British family business.
Yes their prices have gone up of late but all food we buy for ourselves at the supermarket has increased so don’t expect any difference for our dogs if we want to give them good quality food it costs… however a lot more reasonable than Orijin who we were with before.
They use DPD to deliver so very prompt and only so far used the free delivery option as normally arrives within 3 to 4 working days. 👌🏻
Price increases
Been using Millie's for 3 years and have always been happy with the food, the price has been continually increasing by £1 or £2 per bag but gone to re-order and 2x14kg (which used to be 2x14.5kg!!) is now £14 more than last time I ordered. Smaller pack size and price has increased 25% in 2 years which outpaces inflation.
Millies Wolfheart
I was recommended Millie’s Wolfheart by a friend who has a working Cocker Spaniel and Lab. I was a bit hesitant to order as my dogs aren’t working breads and neither are they big dogs so I decided to email them with all the information and details they needed to get a thorough understanding and direction of where to go. I was really surprised to get a response so quickly. They were so helpful and thorough that I went on to put an order in.
The day before my 9 week old pup was due to come home, my order arrived and I was really impressed. My pup is 13 weeks now and has been loving their dry kibble and training treats from my puppy pack that I ordered.
It gives me reassurance that what I’m feeding my puppy is all goodness and never any nasties.
So impressed with this company from start to finish.
I couldn’t recommend enough!
Price increases!
Have been using this dog food for our working cocker spaniel since 2020 and he absolutely loves it however I every time I have re-ordered I have been noticing a price increase. I order food every 3-4 months and now the price increase is becoming ridiculous. The food is such great quality and I understand that a price increase is inevitable but every 3-4 months by £3-4 is crazy. Like the other reviews we will unfortunately have to look elsewhere. As loyal customers I would expect some kind of discount/offers but nothing of the kind.

Been a customer for several years and…
Been a customer for several years and always been very happy. Recently though both dogs have become much more picky over eating the kibble which makes me suspect the ingredients have been changed for cheaper maybe.
And I've just gone to reorder today and the price of each bag has increased by £6. What is particularly annoying, normally you get prior warning of an increase so at least you get a chance to order beforehand. Nothing this time.
Time for a change.
I'm more convinced than ever the ingredients have been changed. The kibble consists of two very distinct biscuits in each bag, one is much thinner and lighter coloured. I've also noticed that one dog who had an excellent coat, now has quite severe dandruff. I've changed nothing else in their diet.

Significant price increase by £16!!!!
We have shopped at Millie’s Wofheart for a couple of years now and have often purchased the same items each time, occasionally changing the mix. Recently I noticed a significant price increase with one of the food items. In January 2023, we paid £115.99 for 28kg of Forager dog food and come 2 months later, forager has now increased to 131.99 for the same 28kg! I can appreciate costs have gone up but this kind of increase is outrageous. Have unfortunately had to change which food we buy which is a shame as our dog loves this certain mix but cannot justify the price increase here!

Quality Tinned Food
Tried Millies Wolfheart tinned meat after problems with another supplier. The dogs love it. Good communication and delivered on time. Off to place my next order.

My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis…
My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis mid January and we were devastated. Upon collecting him from a stay at the vets and discussion about his new dietary needs we were disappointed with the options available & set to research alternatives. Millie’s Wolfheart was the highest suggested option amongst the community of owners with pancreatic dogs & I contacted the company who were very helpful with selecting the right food & measurements for feeding. We initially ordered a sample of each suitable variety & I’m pleased to say almost a month later my boy is thriving, enjoying his food & looking fantastic.
Would highly recommend for anybody struggling with poorly dogs that don’t have the option of raw feeding.
Great dog food and great customer service
I love that millies produces high quality kibble which my puppy seems to love, great nutrition team to direct you to the best food for your dog. Love the next day delivery option.
Been using Millies for years
Been using Millies for years. I have a cocker spaniel and she was skinny when I got her as she was only fed on raw so low carbs. Put her on the 40% alongside my lab and she bulked up nicely. My vet tested pH of my labs urine and said it was high so I researched the solution myself to find she needed a higher meat content to neutralise the pH. I put her up to a 50% and that lowered the pH a level. Went to the Riverside 60% and the pH is perfect on my litmus paper. They're the perfect weights for their breeds and their coats are so shiny. I also feed less than the commercial junk and they get less fleas so its cost effective and a no brainer for anyone that cares about their dogs.
Absolutely love Millie’s Wolf Heart
Absolutely love Millie’s Wolf Heart, Great service and great quality food. Our German Shepard absolutely loves the Highland mix Kibble. We will not be looking anywhere else for our dog food because we don’t think there is better quality out there. Ps cat food is also amazing.
