The sessions made my depression and…

The sessions made my depression and thoughts of suicide more intense & painful. I was hoping for some relief, from feeling terrible but it looks like this therapy isn't for me. It actually made it far worse. Be aware that this could happen and have a plan about what to do if it does. I didn't have one and it set me way back.

My early experience

I like the intr at the beginning of each session. I also like the ability to go back and revisit the message. It has allowed me to expand on my experience and take it into what I want to concentrate on moving forward.
I have found that as each session has concluded I am coming out of them quicker. What does this mean? I am absorbing more and my pathways are broadening? or I am getting used to the medicine? I am just learning so I hope to give a more detailed assessment by the end but as of now, you have great advocates working for you not only in the intro to a first session but in the integration sessions. I am going to join my second integration session tomorrow, Ashlie was a wonderful guide and the other women so helpful. I think your processes and options to get additional tools fantastic. I look forward to giving a review in closing. Thank you for this opportunity.

Very difficult to articulate my experience with MindBloom

I find it very difficult to articulate my full experience. I have had ineffectual sessions and a few sessions that could be described as "true experiences". My main issue is intrusive thoughts interrupting the experience and causing me to wonder if it's close to the end of the session, at which point I would begin chanting my mantra and trying to regain focus on the experience. I had reservations before I joined the program and I cannot say they have all been addressed. However I did sign up for 6 more sessions as I really want to see if I can experience success going forward. I don't feel particularly different per se but I have had a deeper focus on my marriage and my wife's happiness with my behavior which was a stated goal entering this process and is certainly welcome. Safety was never an issue for me since, as a healthcare worker, I was able to assure my airway was open and clear during the experience but you do need to take heed and watch your blood pressure and make sure you are prepared to chill for several hours afterwards as you are not able to drive, nor should you engage in any activity that requires mental sharpness or important decision making due to lingering effects of the medication. It might work for you and it might not, I have my doubts as to MindBlooms' claim of over 80% success rate.

I haven't finished the treatments or…

I haven't finished the treatments or the sessions yet, but I've already had a pretty bad experience. The platform is nice and polished. However, my guide quit the company (or was fired after my first session). The company informed me, but my account on the app was not designed to choose another guide because it is basically a scripted platform and I had already passed the "choose a guide" part of the app. Because I was not clear on how to proceed without a guide or what to do to get a new guide, I stopped my sessions and sent emails asking for clarification about next steps. This process has put my program on hold for several weeks. The company just finally sent me an email to choose my new guide (you can't work back on the app as that option to choose has passed). So, anyway, I pick a new guide but write to them that I would like to reset the platform to start the sessions again since the first session with the guide is super important to establish the therapy direction and ensure program success. Plus, now several weeks have interrupted my sessions and sessions are supposed to be done weekly. The response came from what is likely a call/response center in a different country (the reply was simplistic, had incomplete sentences and grammatical errors). It said no you can't go back because you have already gone forward. That was the gist of it -- likely from either a 3rd grader they illegally employ or a person overseas who has no understanding of the therapy, the platform, nor enough knowledge to actually understand the question of enough authority to make a decision. Overall, it just feels like a shiny app with a pretty generic and canned salesforce. It isn't the personalized therapy they promise. Also, my clinician (different from the therapist) is so rude. She is not happy and she makes you feel like you are an annoying problem she needs to be done with ASAP. She definitely need to do Mindbloom therapy herself! I've asked for a different clinician because she is just so unpleasant-- but I haven't received any reply to that request. Also, the blood pressure monitor they sent me doesn't work at all. The failure of the device almost ended my first session-- luckily I had a back up monitor in my closet. I just think all these issues speak to the platform having a polish from a sales perspective, but not the actual depth or quality to the organization that they promise (definitely not the individual attention or personalized guided therapy they claim to offer).

I’m halfway through the program and feel better than I have in years or maybe ever! It’s very easy to follow with an intuitive app. Aside from that the company is super responsive with great customer service. I didn’t receive my Bloombox and once I shared that with them I had it the next day.

When I went into the experience, I was 50-50 on whether or not it would have an impact, but it is an automatic impact on everything you do so that your fuse is longer, and you’re able to put up with more things that happen in your life.
