NerdQaxe++ Warning about common wifi‑problems and lack of transparency about these!
I purchased the NerdQaxe++ ASIC Miner – 4.8TH/s from Mineshop.eu in February 2026, and I want to warn future buyers about a very common issue that is not mentioned anywhere on the product page. The miner itself offers excellent efficiency for the price (TH/€ is great), but the built‑in WiFi module is extremely outdated and causes major compatibility problems with modern routers.
The device only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi and cannot connect to networks where 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz share the same SSID. This is not a rare edge case — it is a widely known issue among users, and it affects many popular routers. In my case, I use Google Nest, and it is practically impossible to get the miner to connect to it, even with the correct SSID and password. The miner simply refuses to join the network. This should absolutely be stated clearly in the product description, because it significantly affects setup and usability.
The setup process ended up being far more frustrating than expected because of this. I eventually ordered an additional 2.4 GHz access point (Asus RP‑N12), and I’ll see if that solves the problem once it arrives.
Overall: the NerdQaxe++ offers good hashing efficiency for the price, but the outdated WiFi chip and lack of transparency about known compatibility issues bring the rating down.

Hi Vesa, thank you for the detailed NerdQaxe++ feedback — like most ESP32-based home Bitcoin miners it only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so a separate 2.4 GHz network or access point usually solves it. We'll make this clearer on the NerdQaxe++ product page at Mineshop.eu, and if you still need help, please email info@mineshop.eu. — Mineshop.eu team

Cost of return even if item was faulty
They charged me the credit card fee even when they sent a faulty item that I had to proof it was faulty + return it.
They responded this review by saying they will refund me the fees, after a week, no response from them.
