When I closed my business, I took an ironing board from stock, as I had a dry cleaning shop and a household goods store. The ironing board would not stand up, so I contacted Minky and was told that t... See more

Useless heated dry
I bought a Suredri heated airer to replace one I previously had WHAT A MISTAKE it was total rubbish intermittent heat cool spots with even cooler spots a total waste of money not to mention the cost of the electricity.
Do not buy this product
Bought a minky airer with a 3 year…
Bought a minky airer with a 3 year warranty and it dropped to bits they refuse to honour the warranty. Inferior products and abysmal customer service. Avoid at all costs! Be warned!
Minky...? More like Manky.
Why do Minky sell ironing board covers when they do not even fit the standard and recommended sizes?
Purchased an ironing board cover for a standard ironing board, only to find that despite the cover actually being slightly smaller than the board, it still did NOT fit. It was all crumpled and loose at the edges, and made ironing a very dissatisfying and slow process.
This would have been frustrating enough had it not been for Minky's customer services being absolute rubbish. The personnel manning Minky's customer services are as useless and ill-fitted as their ironing board covers. In particular I wish to highlight a Natalie there who was not only rude and uncaring, but dismally unqualified for her position. Absolute disgrace.
I will now avoid Minky in the future. In summary Minky should be rebranded as MANKY, such are their manky products and manky customer service employees.
Minky's smartfit ironing board cover doesn't fit, and their marketing isn't smart
Recently bought a Minky Smartfit ironing board cover. On the packaging and marketing materials, it states 'super tight elasticated fit'. Despite my order being for the correct size, it was certainly NOT 'super tight'. In fact, 'very loose and sagging at the sides' would be a more appropriate description.
I contacted customer 'service' and, after putting me through the sending of a photo and a video, Natalie simply tried to sell me some clips so that it would be in keeping with their marketing claim! Well, if this is being marketed as 'super tight' and it is not, the pegs should be included. Instead, she did seem to (want to) understand what 'super tight' actually means and could only recommend that I go through the hassle of returning it to the vendor.
She could have actually offered to send a few clips to ensure the product was in keeping with their description, but from what I've been reading since, it seems that the company don't care about their reviews, customers, products or false marketing.
Sue in customer service was brilliant
Sue in customer service was brilliant - excellent example of what customer service should be.
Sadly Fedex couriers had a problem with their system that caused a delay. Sue was very quickly able to find the glitch and sort it out.
just what I needed!
couldn't have found it at a better time...new house means new cleaning cloths ect..
Amazing service!
Amazing customer service to help sort out an issue with my product - rare these days to experience this from any organisation, hence being delighted - highly recommend you contact them if you have any queries as thy were honestly a pleasure to deal with :)
Poor quality ironing board
Poor quality ironing board. Make excuses for not honouring the 5 year warranty. First they provided a subjective assessment from a few pics that a weight was placed on the ironing board. When I disproved them with further pics and informed them it was a manufacturing fault, they changed their explanation and stated I should’ve reported it within 30 days. Shockingly bad customer care from Emma and Paige, they collected all my personal information without intending to help in the first place. Clearly the 5 year warranty doesn’t mean anything! Steer clear!

Bought what was supposed to be luxury…
Bought what was supposed to be luxury ironing board cover
It's rubbish does not fit size they say
very poor quality
Not fit for purpose
Excellent customer service
I have had my airer since November 2023 and on putting it on the patio it was wobbling as if something had bent but the airer only contained a normal load.
As there is a (brilliant) 3 year guarantee I rang Minky whether I should discuss with them or Tesco (where I bought it) and I was asked to send details and upload photos. Very surprised to see a review saying not covered for accidental damage as that is what Minky said mine is and a replacement is on the way. Exceptional customer service with speedy responses and helpful staff (Sue).
Minky clothes airer rubbish…
Purchased Minky clothes airer rubbish quality always difficult to put up. Within the warranty broke due to the iron being bent, due to force getting the thing up. Minky said not covered for accidental damage therefore not covered by warranty. Would avoid this brand in future. Rubbish quality, rubbish after sales!
I chose a Minky Sure Grip 21m clothes…
I chose a Minky Sure Grip 21m clothes airer as it came with great reviews . It’s is an excellent product and holds many more clothing items than a regular airer and is well made . Would definitely recommend this product .
Have had contact with Minky customer services and their response time and excellent customer service is second to none .They dealt with my enquiry smoothly and efficiently. I will definitely be looking out for other Minky products as I know that I will get an excellent quality product and fantastic customer support should I require it.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service from Minky, I needed a small spare part for my laundry rotary airer and Sue worked out what I needed and posted to me. Very good attitude and so refreshing nowadays
Brilliant customer service
Brilliant customer service. Minor problem (not their fault) Sorted immediately.
Great clothesline pegs
I really like Minky's Suregrip pegs, which we got from Robert Dyas. They look nice (I'm a bit on the spectrum about things like that) and they grip firmly - unlike the last lot of Chinese pegs I bought from Sainsbury's, in which the manufacturer seems to have reduced the gauge of the spring wire. And the Minky pegs are, amazingly, made in the UK.
MINKY IS BEING FAIR
I am writing this as I feel that my orginal review was harsh and I gave 1 star when they did try to help but at the time I felt they didn't care.
Following a conversation with Minky customer service today and that I have sent further pictures of the damage and a copy of the orginal receipt. They have review all the information and have decided to replace the ironing board.
So I feel that it only right to correct myself and explain the situation.
Poor quality products
Poor quality products, I bought a clothes airer for £30 which was considerably more expensive than other products, thinking it would be good quality. It failed after 6 months just through normal use and Minky refused the warranty. I'll never buy another Minky Product again. Terrible company.
Terrible!
I recently purchased the washing up bowl with it’s own drainer/plug. Initially I was happy with it but then I noticed it had cracked. A massive crack. Most expensive washing up bowl I’ve ever purchased (£10) & the worst quality. I left an honest & polite review, surprise, surprise, it hasn’t been published. I’ve purchased a few items in the past but never again. A company that isn’t honest isn’t for me. All reviews should be published to allow buyers to make an informed decision. I hate leaving negative reviews but honesty is important
