Bravo to Mintd

I have had a most positive experience with Mintd. Lovely products at largely great discounts, compared with buying from the brand direct or major retailers. They are despatched quickly, and always arrive well packaged. When I had an issue with one product range, the issue was resolved with generosity and the least amount of fuss. I am very happy to be able to continue to support such a great small business, with thanks to Anna and the team for showing others how it’s done.

Excellent 👌

Subscription boxes have left me rather suspicious because of my extremely unpredictable experiences. While some boxes were excellent, others were just not worth the money, and still others never really caught on. But to be honest, I was really pleased with the first boxes I bought from MINTD without the subscription. I spent months tracking their boxes to learn more about them, and now that I'm a subscriber, I've bought a good number of the non-subscription options. I am quite pleased with the things thus far; they are packaged exactly as they come from the store (another worry of mine with past boxes is that I received items that weren't in their original packing or in a box, which raises questions about the quality). Getting the parcel now excites me, and I think I'll keep buying from them. Excellent service and delivery; as I live in Switzerland, I am even covering the import and delivery. In the future, maybe, they will find a way to cut the expense.

Tried to buy one of their edit boxes

Tried to buy one of their edit boxes, there were not enough product to fill the boxes. Requests to customer service were just met with AI bots reiterating the offer. It makes me feel that if something doesn't go well via AI it would be a messy experience as one other reviewer highlighted with payment issues

We are sorry you feel this way and the issue with your build a box order was down to choosing multiple of the same product - which is not allowed- therefore your cart would not populate. The BYOB service is a choice of 4 different products- these cannot be duplicated.
In regards to the online chat- our customer service is open Monday - Friday- your query was Saturday- unfortunately we are not always able to respond to customer queries directly on weekends- we did however respond to yourself apologising about the delay in response within the timeframe you were online, as well as advising yourself on how to use the build a box service as noted above. We are a small business and we work hard to make sure all customers are responded to within working hours, we appreciate your review however we do not feel as though it is fair. Loved the products

I ordered three of the Mintd boxes from the gift stores two of which were mystery boxes all were for Christmas gifts. The recipients loved them so I ordered myself a mystery box and it didn't disappoint I loved all the contents it's a great way to try new products at a reduced cost. Will definitely order more in the future.

Great!

amazing products for the price. Excellent free gifts too. Can`t speak about the subscription boxes as I purchased from the gift store (one off) but the value was fantastic. Fast shipping and delivery too

Slow Customer Service With a Timely Issue

Third time order from here, first two were great but recently not good. When you order via the mobile site sometimes the order just goes through without giving you a chance to review the payment type or enter any codes. Second time this has happened to me.
Anyway, I immediately contacted them and asked them to refund it so that I could reorder the products I wanted with a different payment card. In total sent three emails, tried to live chat three times and called a few times (phone line doesn't work) to try and get help with this. Got a refund through finally but was just not a great experience and I won't be ordering again. Be careful using the mobile payment system it is really sensitive and can cause a costly mistake.

Great Customer service,Great products, highly recommended

Thank you for the great customer service I received from Jess, it was prompt and efficient. I almost missed the free goody bag, thanks to Anna for letting me know and Jess for helping me add on another item on discounted price. I absolutely loved the products and the free goody bag. Very happy to get the delivery so quickly. This is my second time purchasing for mintdbox and will sure come back for more in future. Highly recommended

Mind box is AMAZING

Mind box is AMAZING. The edits they are coming out with are totally next level, the most gorgeous products, the best brands, the best customer service, everything is Really, Really Good!
Super impressed and the value of the edits is soooo good. Highly recommended if you are looking for luxury skincare, the best brands out there for the best value for money. Absolutely amazing!!!

I had an amazing experience with MINTD Box, their edits are always a great value for money and containing luxury products from my favourite brands. Love that they offer variety of subscription plans and even the option to build my own box. Also regular offers and discounts.

One of a kind

I’ve experienced lots of beauty subscription services but Mintd is the best by far! First of all I LOVE the fact it only includes luxury products and that they are at least deluxe size and not just samples. Though most products are actually full size. I’ve never seen a beauty box that includes so many iconic brands every single month! It’s always well packaged and arrives promptly. The team are also an absolute pleasure to deal with and so helpful. I recommend Mintd box constantly to friends!

Absolute disgrace of a company.

Absolute disgrace of a company.

I ordered on the basis of getting a free goody bag. I had emailed prior to ordering as there was an issue with the goody bag being added. So it was clear my order was basses on getting a goody bag.
My order total was just over £290 and the goody bag was added to the basket, I assumed as it was on my order confirmation I would receive it.

However when I received my parcel it contained no free goody bag. I messaged and was advised that I hadn’t met the threshold, I explained it was on my order confirmation so expected to receive it. I advised I would return my order for a full refund.

I was then advised by Anna that mystery boxes are non refundable.
I re advised that due to distance selling, regardless of themselves advising on their website non returnable, that this was taking a way my rights and that infact the order is able to be returned , and isn’t exempt.

Several emails back and fourth Anna kept repeating and sending their terms of ‘non returnable’ to which I advised again, writing it on the website doesn’t make it legal.
They even sent out a goody, despite me saying I no longer wanted the order.

As soon as I received the goody bag I returned all items promptly.

They have now had the order close to 2 weeks with no refund, when chased was told ‘it takes up to 2 weeks to process the refund’ this is for them to actually hit process on the refund, not the bank.

They are clearly being beyond awkward and making me wait . It doesn’t take 2 weeks to check that all the items I returned are still sealed. It’s actually obscene, that despite having an unhappy customer you add insult further.

I have screen shots of their website that takes away consumer rights of buying online and I will be reporting to trading standards.
An awful company to deal with , with little to no customer service.

Please don’t anyone be fooled with their ‘pre orders & non refundable’ as this is illegal, pre ordered or not, you still have your consumer rights in place.

I will never shop with them again or recommend them to anyone.

EDIT TO ADD…. They took just under 3 weeks after receiving my return back to refund me. They are an actual
Disgrace of a company , whose ethos is disgusting, no customer care or service whatsoever.

No I was not abusive, far from it. I have stated clear facts. Yes places can dictate 'non returnable' items, but mostly this will be for things such as earrings , so due to hygiene. What you are doing is simply illegal and removing customers returns rights for buying online.
With regards to ordering only 3 boxes, your system ADDED the goody bag in to my order confirmation , so naturally I assumed I qualified. It was yourselves the decided not to communicate to me I didn't qualify and just didn't add to my order. Then acted shocked that I was annoyed. I can see on your reviews that this has happened to someone else too. So I. am not the only one.

Equally I haven't received 2 refunds. I did the chargeback because after 2 weeks you STILL had not refunded me nor did you respond to my query on it. It was clear your intentions to drag it out.

The fact you have gone to look at my other reviews is pretty laughable. Like many others I leave negative reviews for negative experiences. It is far from a common thing I do, and equally there is what less than 5 over a number of years. That alone speaks volumes. However trying to tarnish me as a person doesn't detract from your illegal business practices.

I support many of small businesses on a regular basis, however I refuse to support a business that has very poor practices.

We have to start this response with a negative stance based on the encounter with you- a former customer, we work very hard to provide clear communication and solutions to our customers and we did so in the case of your issue. We communicated with you in a timely, professional and kind manner and you in turn were quite rude and verbally abusive as well as attacking our small business. We are all people and we deserve to be treated politely and kindly as you would expect from any other human.

There was a miscommunication with the quantity of mystery boxes ordered on your part, initially you advised you wanted to purchase 4 units of our mystery box, which would have made you eligible for the free Goody Bag promotion having hit the eligibility threshold. Unfortunately you ordered 3 units and this did not meet the threshold. We have clearly advised the minimum required spent, we had also communicated this with yourself in email correspondence. Despite this we still proceeded to send the Free Goody bag speaking with you as goodwill. Regardless of this you chose not to accept this and return your order. As with all businesses terms and conditions are set with particular orders, this is not illegal nor is it outside of any jurisdiction. Harrods themselves have disclaimers on products that cannot be returned or refunded as with many other companies. We provided a disclaimer on our mystery box edits as non-refundable due to the mystery element of the box.

Despite any terms we agreed to a return and refund of items, your return was received checked and a refund issued within the 14day period- again most business have this time period, so that products can be checked in full and compliance and health and safety standards met in order to resell. Upon providing a refund, you then actioned a chargeback with the bank stating a false report of damaged /defective items. Which is untruthful and confirmed by yourself via email that this was not the case. You have therefore received double the amount spent -nearly £600 back- this is a type of fraud and we will be defending this on our end. It is disappointing not only to attack us as a business having provided a solution and it is clear from your multiple 1-star and negative reviews on Trust Pilot that this is something you regularly do to business's small or large and we cannot support this and must defend ourselves. As a business owner yourself you know the challenges faced in running a business as well as how impactful reviews are. You have proceeded to make defamatory statements about us as a small business with a motive and intention to cause reputational damage . We are very kind and fair people and we cannot accept what you have done and are trying to do to our business.

We hope as a customer / business owner you treat people better and fairly as you seem to consistently attack other businesses and write negative reviews in hope to effectively impact business or employees livelihood. We are all humans at the end of the day and the issue between us as a seller and you as a buyer had an easy solution of which we provided. We can only work to solutions and in any case we will not stand for abuse nor will we stand for any type of bullying. We will be defending the chargeback made as this is illegal having been refunded already and we will take all the necessary steps to defend ourselves in any case.

The best beauty box subscription out there

I hesitated before getting my subscription as I’ve had beauty box subs before and they were maybe good one month and then rubbish the rest. I am so happy I went for it in the end because Mintdbox always curate the BEST boxes with the most incredible savings. Somehow they always seem to have products I need at the time too! Very very pleased

Amazing in every way

Amazing in every way! I haven’t come across a skincare subscription service like it, I’m so impressed! The brands they work with are pure luxury and products are all full size. From start to finish my experience has been fantastic. Clear website to navigate around, great customer service, impressive delivery time and I’m obsessed with their packaging and the products I’ve received. I’ve recommended to my friends and family as it’s such great value for money! It’s my go to shop for all things skincare!
