Keep up the great work you are doing...and while I hope not to return to the repair center for obvious reasons, if I do, I know where to bring my desktop tower.

BE AWARE

BE AWARE! I went to this place because it has a higher review wanting to get an estimate on how much it is to get a battery replacement, the technian took 5 minutes to examine it, and told me the price is higher cause it's alienware and the battery is hard to took out, I want to take some time to decide so I took it home, and when I took it out at home there it is, 3 scratches on the top of my laptop, and that's probably why the guy hand it back to me with the laptop facing down. Call them on the phone they won't admit it and suggested that it is scratched in my backpack, because you know, the fabric in a backpack can scratch a laptop so hard, and they hung up on me.Yep, there it goes, I end up with 3 scratches on my Alienware I took great care of for 2 years. I am outraged. Seriously, if they didn't scratch my laptop, then probably the aliens did. If you value your stuff, don't go there, if you wanna go there, be sure to record everything when you stepped into the store, cause they won't admit anything if they scratched your device.

They did what it took.

Sometimes you don't know how good a company is until something goes wrong. I sent in a tablet for repair, and a bunch went wrong, I don't blame Mission Repair for the problems, but I will say, without a doubt, they bent over backward to make sure all the problems were solved to my satisfaction. If the need arises again I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

Why are these guys still in business?

iPhone battery replacement:
I never thought it would be difficult to replace an iPhone battery, but Mission Repair has redefined bad business practices.
-Mission Repair's new battery would not hold a charge while powered off. When totally shut down for a week, all the charge was gone.
-I got three different answers from people-near-phones at Mission Repair.(I just can't say customer service)
-M.R. wanted me to pay for shipping and insurance to fix their bad work.
-After many weeks and emails (two unanswered) and three phone calls. I sent an email giving a day-by-day description of this worst service experience to the general manager Lennie. He never answered.
-I asked PayPal to get my money back. I sent PayPal the same emails as Mission Repair. They agreed.
-In retrospect, I'm glad that Mission Repair service is so bad that they wouldn't fix it because the battery was actually cheap junk.
-I bought one from OWC and installed it myself. Works as expected after two weeks shutdown, still 100% charged.

Re: My experience with Mission:Repair--Look Elsewhere

I placed an order with Mission Repair in April 14, 2015; two IPODs, both with the same problem: Not recognized by any computer, although units played and charged okay. No other noted problems. I did not receive the ‘repaired’ Ipods until mid-June..

I was told the units needed logic board repairs, cost $45 each. They said they could not test headphone jack as there was no music on the Ipod. Also recommended was replacement on one HDD as it was ‘ailing’. Told their sales rep that, as noted in cover with order, I was using Rockbox and not Itunes on units, and there was plenty of music on the units. Also, I had never had a problem with the HDDs on the units. The rep started the unit with the alleged HDD problem via rockbox and on the phone and he confirmed unit was working and could see music files. So HDD was working when it got there.

I made it expressly clear I did not want the music on the drives erased or the drives reformatted!
I then had over a month of trying to find out from the staff why they were only repairing one unit? They kept saying I had “declined repairs” and but I could never find out why they were not replacing the logic board. When that was finally cleared up, after phone calls and many emails, and I got the units back: First, my 230 gig drive was reformatted, expressly against my request. It took the better part of a week for me to restore it, a lot of unnecessary time and effort, wasted. Second, the other unit I cannot access the drive at all and I guess that was reformatted too. Had I known this would be the result I would have skipped both repairs. Third the unit that was repaired and ‘fully functional’ now has problems with the navigation wheels; problems which did not exist before. I contacted customer service and even wrote a letter to the Mission Repair CEO and received NO REPLY/
Mission Repair has caused me a lot of delay and aggravation and left me with the units in worse way, in some ways, that before. I finally took the unit with the problematic HDD to a local place and had it fixed in about 2 hours; I am still having problems with the navigation wheel on the other unit.

Nokia Lumia 1520 screen replacement

I shipped a Nokia Lumia 1520 w/cracked screen to Mission Repair in KS on April, UPS Ground from Mobile, AL. I was emailed a quote for repair on 4/28. Rcv'd notice on 5/15 that it was finally on the way back, after a long wait and a $319 fee for repair. Upon receipt, the phones screen was not sealed, there was obvious glue on the outside and a gap between screen & phone that would allow pulling the screen completely off. Also, it did not work. Half of the screen was dead and did not respond to touch at all. I was shocked that someone actually noted on the repair that this phone went thru a QA inspection. I contacted MR immediately & arranged a warranty repair. Finally rcv'd the phone back today, 6/17/15. Two months out, $319, not good. The screen appears intact this time, except for an odd tiny gap on the glass at the bottom. I asked the end user, who is more familiar with his phone than I, if this gap (that allows light thru slightly) was possibly a noise cancellation mic opening or what, he said he did not recall it being there before, but it might have been. The glass was smooth, as if the screen was made this way, so he decided to keep it. All seems to be working so I did not object. Timeliness and quality of repairs from this shop have dramatically declined over the last 2-3 yrs, since expansion. I believe the QA dept and quality of techs now working for MR in KS are sub par and I will never use them again. I would not trust them to touch another of our company devices. This is not the first complaint and botched repair we have had; I believe in second and even third chances, depending. I would not recommend using this shop for repairs.

Holy Schnikes!

I found Mission online and saw I could ship my Amazon Kindle HD Fire 7 to get the charging port repaired. I shipped it as per the directions and when Mission received it I got an email confirming it had arrived. I also received a phone call that I had purchased the wrong repair (completely my fault) within a day of them getting it. It was back in my hands three days later! Excellent customer service and my tablet charges perfectly!

Easy to do, inexpensive and done right

I've had three devices repaired. Each one was done right. The price was cheaper than the local walk-in places and they were completed and shipped promptly. One required more than expected and I received a call explaining the situation and detailing my options. Highly recommend them.

My repaired Galaxy S4 is like new!

I dropped my Samsung Galaxy 4 on the ground without its protective case and shattered the screen. Screen was a spiderweb of shattered glass and the image was flickering black pixels. Mission Repair was able to fix the glass and the display is now as beautiful as the day I bought the phone. When I ordered the repair through their website, I made an error and paid for a white screen even though it was a black phone. They even caught this error and called me to confirm that I really wanted them to make that change (which of course I did not). They constantly update the status screen on their website as to the progress of the repair. The customer service department is friendly, professional, and very helpful. Overall a very positive experience. Only minor downside was the part they needed to repair my phone was backordered when they received my phone so took a few weeks to complete the repair, but being in retail myself I understand that sometimes backorders from suppliers are something we cannot control. Great job! My phone looks and functions awesomely!

Fast, Efficient, ipod is fixed and works great!!!

They fixed my ipod Nano 2nd gen very quickly, then promptly returned it to me. Upon receiving it I could clearly see they went to great lengths to ensure its safe travel. I removed it from the packaging, to see it had been placed in a sealed pocket of bubble wrap, once I removed it from that it had been tightly wrapped not once, twice, but three times in even more bubble wrap, that ipod wasn't going anywhere during shipping thanks to all that bubble wrap. 10/10 Would do business here again.
