Just got my first book delivered from Mixbook and it is gorgeous. The whole process was great, I loved the layout tool, I tried a few others first and this was by far the easiest to use and most intuitive. I will definitely use them again, especially with the big discounts on offer (I got 50% off). Thanks Mixbook!!

We have had Mixbook print calendars for many years. The quality has been very good, and they always met or beat their deadlines.

But this year began a fiasco. They missed a 12/15 deadline and would not or could not give a new delivery date other than on or before December 24. You could only complain via chat - which resulted in apologies but no firm delivery date - or could send an email with a response time of up to 48 hours. Again, I couldn't get a firm delivery date. When the calendars arrived on 12/23, the quality of the paper and printing wasn't up to previous years. Cutting an already long story short, reprinted calendars were delivered in January, and we were happy with the quality.

So the outcome was good, but the process was extremely frustrating because communicating with them is such a challenge. They really need to up their game in that department.

Wow I’m so disappointed!! I ordered a book for my partner for Christmas, and was given no tracking information whatsoever, so guess who received a very clearly marked box giving away exactly what was inside a week before christmas?!?! her!!! I’m so mad that the surprise was ruined I don’t even care about the quality of it or what it looks like. Imagine trying to explain your way around what « tears in 3.2.1… » and « creating memories! » to someone that clearly isn’t stupid. This needs to be smarter as I’m sure there is more people that do this for a gift. Unreal!

They repeatedly do NOT meet their estimated deadlines. For far too many orders, I have paid for expedited shipping only to have it arrive significantly late, missing milestone events in multiple instances.

The communication around delivery updates is nonexistent/spotty at best, and when you reach out to their customer service they will flat out lie about your order status.

And this is how they treat repeat customers.

All I can say is avoid at all costs.

An absolute joke of a company! Ordered for Christmas, doesn’t tell you until you’ve designed the whole book that it won’t be here in time for Christmas. Now, they won’t show me the preview that I could previously see so I can redo the design elsewhere. Impossible to speak to anyone, horrendous customer service! Do not use!

They delivered someone else’s book instead of mine. If someone else’s book was delivered to me, it is natural to think my book was delivered to someone else. I don’t think this is a minor mistake. Besides, I paid for express delivery and did not get the present on time. Customer service was polite, however vague with the solution. Very frustrating.

I have used Mix Book for many years and have always been happy with my photo books. I recently ordered a book and was not happy with the quality. There were a couple of binding issues and i was told that the colour saturation was set too high. I was told that all would be corrected on my next complementary printing. Nothing was corrected. I asked for a refund and they agreed however they only refunded me half the amount. I live in Canada and I was asked for the first time if I wanted to order from the Canadian site and I said yes. Perhaps the printer in Canada is not as good at details as the US ones? I spoke to customer service in the Phillipines (I think ) and I just don’t think there is any communication between service and printing. I have had to move on unfortunately to another printing company.

This company took my nearly $200, never delivered a book (it was lost in their warehouse), and failed to refund my money. In essence, they stole from me. Buyer beware.

Quality was absolutely terrible. Photos were grainy and blurry when arrived. 100% customer satisfaction is a scam. Customer team is useless. Promised a refund 4x now and still nothing has come of it. Absolutely scam for price they charge. Much better off with other companies who are cheaper and have more quality products.

Their service people get mixed up - one promises to fix something and the next day, they can’t do it

You need to be careful of what they promise - you will get ripped off like I did

It cost $271 for something that was promised to be complimentary

I ordered a photo book from Mixbook for my mother’s 60th birthday and placed the order over six weeks in advance. The estimated delivery was two weeks, but the book arrived five weeks later, after a printing delay.

When I contacted customer support, I was incorrectly told that I had cancelled my order. After I provided proof that I had not, they backtracked and denied saying this. The book eventually arrived, but it was sent to the wrong address. At this point it was just a joke.

To make matters worse, the book arrived damaged and the print quality is very poor.
Overall, delivery estimates are unreliable, customer service is inconsistent, and the product quality is disappointing. I would not recommend Mixbook.

Mixbook sent me a book with someone else's pictures. I paid for expedited shipping for a gift that will now arrive 20 days after I ordered it. I am just really sad.

Just an honest warning: 1) Absolutely NOT 100% satisfaction guarantee. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in our $267 order - it came out nothing like on the computer. When we followed up we were offered 50% off a re-order. No thanks! 2) DO NOT pay extra for matte finish! It makes the photos look cheap, dark and extremely poor quality. Terrible photo paper quality - it was like you inkjet printed onto paper!! I cannot believe I paid extra for this!!

Mixbook is so easy to work with. I love the customization, the designs available, the software they use, and the deals they offer. As a bonus, I just got two books in the mail that were soaked through in the rain, and Mixbook offered to immediately replace them at no cost to me. So grateful for such kind and understanding customer service.

I placed My order on 20 Nov and received eta delivery date of 3rd dec. it has still not arrived 2 days after this date and there are no status updates available
I paid extra for express delivery and the order has not been fulfilled and no tangible update has ever been provided on the status.
Scam

I had a 40 page photo book to make. I selected Mixbook.com because I read that it was the easiest photo book maker to use. At first, I was overwhelmed by the book choices, book sizes and layout possibilities. Then I had difficulties setting my pictures onto the pages. But, when I searched the web for information on how to set up the book just as I wanted, everything fell into place. Mixbook even has a help desk that was very useful, answered quickly and friendly. And, my completed photo book arrived 6 days earlier than I expected. The book was sent by UPS, well packed in hard cardboard so couldn't be easily bent.
The only negative aspect of this project was the price was quite steep, in spite of a generous discount. More than 1 Euro per page.
I am very happy with the whole set-up at Mixbook and now that I know how to use it, I intend to make a few more photo Albums made.

Wow! This is my first experience with Mixbook but it won't be the last. As a wedding anniversary gift for my parents, it's absolutely perfect. From the ease of use of the website to the complimentary video featuring my pictures, to the fast shipping, the process was super smooth. And then there's the book. It's of an exceptional quality- the cover, the binding, the paper. And the pictures themselves pop from the page. It's beautiful.

Amazing customer service! I always use Mixbook to make a book of memories of my travels and this year I decided to make a family cookbook. Daisy was so helpful with the whole process! Their quality is amazing, costs are reasonable, and production/ shipping is pretty quick!

The app has many flaws and I ended up having to get on the web browser to "fix" issues. A couple of issues could not be fixed, even after I contacted help. They couldn't even figure it out so I had to completely start over. Wasted hours. To top it off, the mystery discount black friday code they sent me for free shipping doesn't work with any of the black friday discounts. What is the point of that? I either get free shipping and pay $44 per calendar or get the 45% discount and pay $20 to ship. I feel like it was almost bait and switch. By the time I put in that many hours, I bought the calendar, but the help was actually no help.
