I placed an order for a photobook, and paid for rush shipping to ensure that it would arrive on time for a milestone birthday celebration. Mixbook site said delivery by October 21st. It is the 22nd and the book is still "printing". Has not even shipped. I received no communication from Mixbook informing me of the delay, which could have helped us figure out a backup gift.

After multiple interactions with customer service, they still have not been able to tell me when the book will ship or arrive. As compensation, they have offered a refund of shipping fees and $20 off of the book cost which was $95. But I still don't know when we will receive the book.

Very disappointing to trust a company with something so time sensitive and of emotional value, only to realize that there is ZERO reliability with their shipping times.

Definitely not worth what they charge. The paper is nice and printing is ok, but overall, the local office store could put a book together just as well for half the cost.

the worst beyond worst experience ordering from mixbook- avoid avoid avoid! I had to request a re print 3 times as this book came with all the words jumbled and the text cut off. This is the most horrendous website ever and they wouldnt offer me a re fund. Beyond awful and stressful. Never use this website to order a book.

Exceptional customer service!! A+++ - cannot recommend enough! I have bought over 10 photo books with Mixbook and whenever there was a small discrepancy or something didn't turn out 100% like I wanted, they always reprinted and replaced it, free of charge, no questions asked. Very attentive customer service staff via email (exceptionally quick response times). I have not had such wonderful service anywhere else! Thank you so much! :)

MIxbook has been my go to place for creating photo albums...I recommend them to EVERYONE. They have the most templates! I promise you'll be able to find one that you like & will be perfect for your photos. I also LOVE that you can create an album in just minutes by having your album automatically populated with your photos and at the other end of the spectrum, you can customize every single thing in the album.
Anyways, my reason for taking the time to write this review is because of my most recent project. A good friend of mine was killed in a car accident, leaving his wife & 4-year old daughter behind. Not knowing what to do for them, I decided to make a photo album that will tell this little girl the story of her daddy. I included lots of pages where, at the Celebration of Life, people can write down special memories or leave a message directly for her. When I finished the album and went to order it, the delivery date was TWO DAYS PAST the service (& that was with Rush Delivery)!! I was so upset. I am constantly procrastinating & leaving things to the last minute and couldn't believe I messed up this special gift. It was late on a Sunday night, but I got a live person on the "chat" feature on Mixbook's website. MARION CLYDE was AMAZING! While I couldn't get a guaranteed delivery date, my concerns were addressed, they processed a request to rush the order and was told "we will make sure to do our very best to process your order as soon as possible". The album was printed on Monday, shipped on Tuesday & delivered on Wednesday. Last night I delivered it to our friend's wife and got to see her & their daughter go through each page of the album. It is going to be at the service tomorrow for others to share about our amazing friend who is no longer with us. Sorry this review is so long, but I needed to say THANK YOU for everything that was done to get this precious album to me.

After spending ~20 hours creating a 50 page photobook, 14 of the pages went missing (confirmed by Mixbook). After doing my best to recreate the book, Mixbook offered me a 10 dollar credit and an AI apology.

I spend hundreds of dollars annually on custom printing and I cannot believe their handling of this.

Mixbook was great to work with. The chat staff helped me at the final step and my book looked amazing! Highly recommend!

Made a research on ChatGPT about it good printing service for my 10 year wedding anniversary photo book. I trust Mixbook as a surface and ordered three copies of a seamless printing high-quality page book. I got two copies with a page thickness and one copy with much lighter and thinner pages. Also printing quality on the decrease of the page is very bad, pigments are missing. I reached out to the customer service and they agreed for a reprint. Debt will have been processed quickly so that I could receive a Books on time unfortunately yesterday was my wedding anniversary and I am so upset. I didn’t receive anything, not even a tracking information. I have contacted the customer support again and they said that the reprint process never went through. I insisted for a refund, but they pursued me to try and go for the reprint again with an express shipping, I can’t say if the quality of what I will receive will be up to my expectation, but the service has been overall very bad and I ended up with no decent product for the day. I was expecting it to give it as a gift.

Mixbook you never fail to produce a great product. So happy again with my photo book. And the site is easy to use. I’m already onto my next book. Well done team.

First, I was supposed to receive a book and keepsake box. The book arrived, and the packaging was damaged, and the keepsake box was not included. The customer service representative told me it was not packaged properly and that I should've received the box.

Secondly, they sent the replacement, which arrived fine, but also without the keepsake box. I chatted with their customer service representative, and they assured me it would take two weeks to arrive. This was an anniversary gift, and it is already delayed due to their pour shipping and slow customer service.

Now they tell me that the keepsake box cannot be expedited, but they will ship it "as soon as possible" and will not give me a tracking number until it ships. They cannot guarantee when it will arrive, even though it is now late because of their mistakes.

What's conflicting is that the product itself is excellent quality. But it is obviously being thrown in as cheap a box as possible, and shipped out without any concern for protecting the product inside. Nor are they willing to accept responsibility by expediting replacements as soon as possible. When the first damaged book was replaced, the packaging on the new one was still not strong enough and took the same amount of shipping time. It should've been sent within two or three days, not over a week.

I will not be utilizing them again nor will I be recommending them. This is unacceptable from a company charging a very high price for their product.

I made the order on Sept 15th, they told me would be delivery by Sept 24th, and it was delivered today Sept 19th!! 4 days only!! OMG So Fast!!! I was surprised, didn't expect it. And when i open, OMG it was more than amazing, it's totally beautiful!! I will super recommend MIXBOOK to everyone, and I'll do again!! I'M VERY SATISFIED 110% THANK YOU VERY MUCH! My first Anniversary will be celebrated in time and, thanks guys, you're the best!!!!

The quality of the finished product was excellent. The pictures have a deep color and are finely printed. The pages are also of a very good quality.

Misprinted our book. Promised to reprint it, 2 months later there’s nothing

Back to customer service for a full refund which was agreed. They then refunded £19 of £45.

Back again and they’ve said they’ll now request the remaining amount

I gave Mixbook a try since I've been using the same company for my photobooks for a few years now and wanted to see if they had different options. I loved the ease of use, especially for uploading the photos.

My complaint is they charge you for going over the MINIMUM number of pages for their photobooks. There is no maximum number of pages listed, only a minimum of 20 pages. I can understand a charge for exceeding a maximum, but the maximum would need to be listed. For a 92 page book, it was going to cost $200 CAD (that's with a discount code). A little over $2 per additional page.

$200 is just too outrageous of a cost, especially when I have a number of books to do (all different so can't save on a multi order).

I have ordered several high quality photo books from Mixbook. I have always been impressed with the easy to use website and beautiful photo books I have ordered. My most recent order I tried a new format - the lay flat book. Unfortunately it was faulty, the binding came apart upon first opening it. Mixbook replaced twice at no charge, and when the problem persisted they ultimately reimbursed me 100%. I will reorder the book in a non lay flat format. Mixbook stands behind their products and ensures high quality or your money back.

Easy to make, came just as advertised, clear pictures.

Costumers service is great

Very nice product and speedy shipping. BUT there were a few photos that were not placed well on the pages and had white edging.
