MJ Sash windows are absolutely top quality. Beautifully fabricated and perfectly fitted. I have replaced several old timber sash windows and (so far) one uPVC. The house is far better for it. All rooms with the new widows simply look much better and are far more energy efficient.

MJ Sash Windows made me 14 replacement sash windows as well as a pair of French doors and some casements to be installed in an old building.

Matt was very professional in his advice and his quotation was prompt. The work was carried out on time and to budget.

On site his team were polite and tidy. They took care of our house making sure to tidy up and leave no mess. I could not fault them in any way.

The results are fantastic and I am very happy. I am particularly pleased with how the new replacement windows blend perfectly with the old frames, and also with how the completely new windows match the old ones.

I would recommend MJ Sash Windows and I would definitely use them again.

Fabulous, prompt service from Matt who came and overhauled and draught proofed 3 of our original Victorian sash windows. It’s lovely to have them working properly and have finally got rid of all the draughts, rattles and broken sash cords. Thank you.

Original Victorian Sash windows were made draught proof with all new brass window furniture installed. Matt was efficient in working though our 20 windows, he was methodical and extremely tidy. We could not fault quality of his work. Highly recommend.

Matt went above and beyond to make sure our new sash windows fitted in rotten, skewed frames: extensive repairs, adjustments and extra time, were all part of the service. They fit beautifully, glide and stay in perfect balance. We are very pleased!

Ben was here to replace broken cords and to winterize our large sash window. He arrived on time, was a pleasure to talk with and did an excellent job on the window. He was efficient, careful and helpful in explaining what he was doing.

Matt set up the visit via email. He was prompt in replying to my questions and requests. He was considerate and comprehensive. Everything happened just as promised. There were no delays or long waiting times in getting the job done.

The costs were a bit higher than some offers but the results are well worth it! I will definitely contact Matt again next time I need any work on on my windows and would recommend the company to anyone.

We are a small sash window family business based in Reading, covering the south of England and Matt approached me around 10 years ago to see if we would use him for any future new builds for our customers.
Since that first connection we have never used any other company, having been approached and asked by others many times, as Matt has never let us down. The sashes are expertly made and always finished on time.

Matt from MJ Sash windows has most recently installed an arched double glazed window replacing an old Victorian one, keeping very close to the original style. He has previously replaced all of our sash windows to double glazed wooden sash frames in the existing window boxes and has done an incredible job. He will take on complex jobs that other sash window fitters have walked away from! I cannot recommend him highly enough, and would use him again, but have run out of windows.

I got Matt to replace my rotten sash windows at my flat. His price was very competitive and the quality of his workmanship was excellent. I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process from initial inspection to delivery and installation and Matt was very courteous and tidy when working.
He used Accoya wood for my sash windows which was something I hadn't previously heard of but very pleased as this is very durable and has anti-rot properties to with a long life span. Would highly recommend Matt!

They were all made and finished to a very high standard within the timescale given, fitted perfectly and were very competitively priced. We had Matt and MJ Sash Windows to replace all of our windows on our house and we cannot recommend him highly enough. His craftsmanship and quality of work is outstanding and we were very impressed with the final product.
