We researched the market for an electric chair for my 90 year old mother in law, who lives 300 miles from us with very limited mobility, and finally after a visit from Mobility Furniture Company we chose them. Now, for the second time in 2 years, still well within the 5 years warranty, the “chair” has stopped working. We were NOT TOLD at the sale that there is no “resident Scottish engineer” so there was a 2 week repair wait and that it required an advance payment of £75 +vat before they will book an engineers visit (refundable if the fault is not the customers) After paying £5,000 for this chair this is ridiculous and unacceptable.So it has stopped working again in a unsitable position and we have had to ask the carer, who has had great difficulty due it’s weight, to try to move the chair and fit another chair in it’s position to allow my mother in law to have a more comfortable and safe seat. I now await an engineer’s visit date for this latest problem and if similar to the last time then I will be asking the company to pick up the chair and take it away as I feel it is not fit for purpose. In my experience a company’s customer service is only tested when there is an issue and the Mobility Company has failed my aged mother in law badly.

I suffer with M S and as a consequence have difficulty getting out of chairs and setees.The Mobility Furniture Co. helped with this problem. I now have an electric chair that stands me up also can sit with my feet up.

Once the decision to buy an Adjustable Bed had been made it was very easy to choose the right one with help from the Company. It was a good price, the delivery was excellent and the aftercare has been good.

From the time a nice man came with a sample and explained the sofa's workings, I've been more than pleased with the Mobility Furniture Company. It was a long wait for the chosen two-seater to arrive but well worth the wait. When the seating arrived, two polite young men delivered it, took away the very unwanted old furniture and suddenly my tv room was looking great. No mess, everything tidy and delivery to departure was done smoothly and without fuss.
Now I'm seated in style with my feet up and able to relax in comfort while reading or watching tv. Any time a reference is needed, I'd be more than happy to tell a potential customer that they will be pleased to deal with the Mobility Furniture Company. I'm certainly a Happy Customer!

Happy with our king mobility bed for a few weeks so gave a good review, order reference 2104636 del. 20.9.23. We started to notice a collapse on one side, the mattress then slid down the side between wood side and base, mobility got someone reasonable quick to come and he found that the two middle legs on left bed were cut quite a bit higher than the other side so had gradually slipped so they were at an angle, we had a few very uncomfortable nights. James cut the legs to size and put extra strength in side base, apart from some creaking it seems ok now, why I’m writing this 2nd review is because after paying over £8000.00 for bed and sending email to Mobility there has been no
apology for an inferior product let alone a reduction in price, very disappointed in firm and product, would certainly not recommend them now. Ann Pearce

Thank you for my dual electric bed. The sales man (Alister) was excellent. The men who delivered and assembled the bed were friendly polite and respectful of people’s property. Also kept you informed of the delivery on the day.
Would recommend the company to anyone.

We purchased an electric sofa bed. The service was excellent.The man who made the initial visit was so helpful and did nor pressurise us at all.The office were very polite and efficient.The delivery men arrived on time in fact a little early but phoned to let us know.They were very polite and helpfulWe used the sofa all over Christmas and found it made life so easy

My mum needed a reclining chair and Scott the representative came out to see her. He was very helpful and friendly everything was explained and delivery before Xmas was guaranteed.
The service was first class the delivery men were excellent and showed mum how to operate the chair. It was exactly what she wanted I cannot praise this company or their staff enough.

The contract was through an agency so I do not know precisely who did what.

However, the delivery of the bed was done to our convenience and the team which made the delivery were efficient and obliging

The team that delivered my bed were very friendly and helpful. It was assembled and demonstrated to me and all packaging removed. I received a call to say that they would arrive within then hour which they did.Right from my initial call for information the company have been helpful and professional in their approach. Excellent well made chair that has changed my life. Very helpful salesman, not pushy but extremely knowledgeable. Delivery ahead of time, delivery men first class, taught me how to use it, created no mess & took away my old chair. 5* company.

From measurement to delivery and response to a query before chair arrived, everything was handled very well.

This morning I received a sales letter from the Mobility Company addressed to my mother despite having told them 7 months ago that she had died. This is a company with no heart, just a sales machine. My mother loved the very expensive chair she bought and got a months use out of but don't go expecting this company to be empathetic or to care about their customers.

the delivery on time, and it was put together very fast, i showed how it worked and experience was very good.

Had a really good experience right from the gent who came to assess my needs and wishes and who measured really carefully, right through to delivery and installation of my new chair. I have never been very comfortable sitting for long but in this chair with its recline in position feature (I think it is called) I fall asleep every evening, often not waking till way after midnight! Excellent experience all the way through and their delivery was spot on also - earlier than expected, very careful to dismantle and remove my old sofa and then installed the new chair and guided me in its use. Really could not have been better!

From the first telephone call to delivery the staff were helpful and efficient. The catalogue was well presented and informative and arrived promptly. The demonstration was arranged quickly and David explained all the features and choices clearly. He answered all of our questions and those of our daughter who joined us on a video call. The range of fabrics was considerable and we soon found one which complimented our furniture. We are very happy with our rise and recline chairs because they have been made to measure and we can enjoy the extra comfort this gives us. My husband is benefiting from having his legs elevated and I am finding the waterfall back very helpful for my chronic back pain. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

First rate from beginning to end. Excellent delivery team. My new bed aids me in much more restful sleep and I’m very glad I decided to invest in it.
