if i could give a minus to this company i would. I rang this company asking for advice and thought i got good advice. I was looking for a foldable bathlift, a electric rollator/ wheelchair and a hoist. The man( no gentleman ) seemed helpful and suggested what i needed and would have someone come to me. Now before that day i priced all the items up eslewhere and found out i was being charged £1200 more for these 3 items than elsewhere. so i left a message for them to get back to me to cancel. NO one got back to me untill the day to say they were on there way. when he arrived, different man, who was a gentleman i told him i only wanted 1 out of 3 and would pay and not to get others out as i was being overcharged but ok for the bathlift i would swallow it. so thats what happened.turns out they had already invoiced me for all 3. Ummmmmm. so i rang original man, well, i have never in my life been spoken to like he did, rude, beyond rude, beyond insulting, apparently after all the years hes been in the business he knows best whats for me and i am the bad one for not buying all 3 items,,,,,,,,,,,,, he went on about the service and that he is the only place that fits and delivers, he isnt, and well, even a well person wouldnt take this. I ended up on the floor in bits shaking, crying, my fibro hit the roof, i was vomiting. It took me back to my violent marriage i had walked out on and lost everything. after i picked my self up i rang other branch to find out his last name and well, HE IS THE BOSS.....................DO NOT BUY FROM HIM. just as a side note i payed him £581.80 for a delta bathlift u can get for under 350 anywhere

When in the past I've tried to call someone? 😞 Picks up and hangs up ,? Please just ask me to call back, later that's not nice, it's not once or twice it's several times . Next year I'm going to get it serviced .but reading reviews on prices makes me think is it really about the money or is it the service same as you get elsewhere cheaper? I waited long time for my parts however, done good job got there in the end.just please answer your phone,thankyou.for taking care of my only means off getting out and about.these days

diagnosing the problem
Eventually I got in touch with customer person. He was polite friendly and informative. He put me at ease. When the technician arrived he was superb. He located the problem, took a picture of the problem. Now I'm waiting for the cost of the part I need. He said he will install it when it arrives. I'm very pleased because I feel safe. I'm a stroke survivor.

I had a problem with Mobility World at Letchworth. They charged me £150 for a standard service on my 4 year old Kymco 4 mph scooter. When I questioned why it was so expensive (no parts were needed), I got banned!!
There plenty of people who will service a scooter for about £60 - £70, look on the Internet.
There is an approved Kymco dealer at Bedford who charges £70 (plus any parts that are needed).
If you have insurance and they have a clause insisting that only an approved scooter servicer can be used.
My insurer, Surewise, doesn’t.
Please aware that Mobility World are very very expensive and most of my concerns went unanswered (and I got banned!).

Mobility world were excellent. I was delayed in receiving the goods due to building works, but this was not an issue with Mobility World. They kept in contact, were supportive and when I was able to accept the good they provided an installation date that suited our needs. Installation team were first class.

I am very annoyed with Mobility World. I bought - by two separate orders - two white plastic bathroom stools with adjustable legs. They were £46.00 each. The first one was fine, but very costly for what it is. The second one had scratches on the seat and I wrote to complain. I was advised I would be sent a replacement seat - which did arrive. But it was even more scratched than the original. I am not impressed with a company that does not check a replacement and sends something worse than the item they are replacing. Additionally, the high cost of this item is really annoying; let alone the fact it is not in perfect condition. I have written two further emails and not received any response. These mobility aids cost a great deal of money, which is not really justified in this case for a small stool.
