As soon as I saw this watch I fell in love with it..Seiko Seitona rose gold rainbow.
I'll be honest and didn't know if I'd made the right decision,but that soon passed once I opened the box ."WOW".. IT WAS STUNNING. And worth every penny.. the quality was superb and the build quality too..after adjustment (not for the feint hearted).I put it on and it looked fantastic..i can highly recommend moddy for a first class service..cheers

Avoid at all cost, watch was never delivered and chasing is pointless, customer service cannot supply proof that has been requested and complaint has now been raised with my credit card supplier.

Complete waste of time, effort and money.

I received the watch and immediately after taking off the plastic wrap I noticed several areas that have discoloration.The latch point of has two pin that were soldered and never polished and are discolored and dark. The Quality control is terrible and the customer support worse. I emailed them immediately with photos to illustrate the fault. I also emailed them the pictures on their site which show a polished product. Their response is that the photos I provided are consistent with their build standards. I will not buy again.

Ordered a Seikoak with a premium gold rotor.
Did not receive the premium gold rotor, got the normal one. I sent proof's on email and they have stopped responding. Followed up thirce, no response after sending clear proof.

All the claims on the their website are fake. After sale service is not only pathetic, its non existent, they dont take ownership for anything. They just want to siphon off money. They dont care about the customer. They only care about their money.

Just wanted to warn a fellow brother who is consider buying. Order at your own risk, but its sure that if something goes wrong because of THEM, they wont take ownership.

I want to warn other buyers about my experience with Moddy’s. I received a watch with a faulty strap, and although their team initially apologised and confirmed in writing that they would send a replacement strap “immediately,” they later went back on their word. Despite acknowledging the quality issue, they are now refusing to honour their original promise and are instead demanding €29.90 for a new strap. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and customers deserve to know how after‑sales service is handled. not we are sending an alternative please see there responses

Sold a GMT watch without the GMT movement. At the very least it seams like sub par quality assurance checks or the whole thing is just a scam. Wasn’t expecting a head turner but I was expecting it to at least have the proper movement in it.

My watch which looks great but has been supplied with a faulty strap, i sent video of the fault and they have accepted it needs replacement but expect me to pay £29.90 evan though its brand new!!
On looking back at their ads it's interesting they claim 4.7 on trustpilot but on trustpilot site its actually 3.8?
There are numerous reviews of faulty straps so this is leaving me in a very upsetting position.

Ordered and paid for a watch on 30th January 2026. Communication was excellent when they wanted my money.
30th March.....2 months later still no watch and communication almost non existant.

I paid for the waterproofing and it failed twice, first time they replaced it and second time they refused and said it’s not covered - even though I purchased the additional waterproof feature. Avoid these crooks.

All super perfect, fine product

This is my second watch from moddys and am very impressed with the quality. Smooth movement and no problems so far with either watch. For this price they are good value.

I ordered the white Santeiko. They estimated 1 month shipping, but it took around 3 weeks. I think it's unfair to not disclose shipping times before you buy the actual product.

Secondly, the shipment comes from an anonymous source (hidden on the package) which is very likely to be directly shipped from China. I can promise you it's not being assembled in Spain, they provide no proof of it.

The watch itself is thicker than the Cartier Santos but it works and look quite good.

I think this is a dropshipping company and you should probably avoid it, I can't imagine the hassle it would have been if the watch had to be returned or something. Also all of their comments on other reviews is just some ChatGPT slop. Do not trust them for a second.

It's sad that I have to leave a 2 star because it's genuinly a fair watch but you need to be more transparent with the customers. As a business owner it should be top priority for you to provide a service that makes people trust you 100%. Like I mean how hard could it be to first ship the watches to Spain into a warehouse and then ship them at least? Like you didn't even put a minimum of effort into it lol.

I recently purchased this watch and wanted to warn other buyers: the strap is faulty. It failed within a short time of normal use, which is simply not acceptable for a product like this. I would not recommend purchasing this watch until the quality issue with the strap is addressed. Buyer beware. The Strap / Bracelet on the Seiko "Day Date" has a very small clip to fasten and is not sufficient and in my view is a manufacturer's fault. It is interesting that all the other similar bracelets have a double clip to fasten securely. Moddy's have not been helpful to replace the bracelet and hide with the excuse that the watch does not have the original plastic coverings and is past the 30 day return. I only asked for the strap to be changed as it keeps falling off my wrist. I have had to pay for a replacement bracelet as I need a secure replacement of £29.90 and the extra charge of £9 for postage totalling £38.90. DON'T BUY THIS BRACELET !

The quality of the watch is not worth $300 more like $50. I received a watch unboxed it and removed stickers to inspect never wore it did nothing but inspect it and it is $50 quality. Tried to return for refund and they stated since the stickers are removed they will not give refund. I am not sure how you inspect without removing the stickers. Very disappointed would not order from them again.

Absolutely amazing. My Seikomariner is fabulous, and completely exceeded my expectations. It feels and looks great. I would confidently recommend Moddy’s. I have already placed an order for a Seitona Panda.

My first experience with Moddys was absolutely amazing especially the quality of the santeiko and now I am contemplating to buy another watch as I am looking at sekonaut and a Seikomariner rose gold or black

I would say doubke check what you're ordering and ask if unsure to make sure you get what you want.

Good quality at an excellent price

I was very skeptical before ordering the Royal Oak, but the product arrived a week early. The material is truly 904L steel, good value for money, and works perfectly.
