Love how easy this is to use - very competitive fees too!

They will close your account for no reason and give you no explanation. Do not leave money on this app you will probably lose it.

This is what I call a border scam. They are just within the law but only just. I invested £50 (the minimum buy amount) and fair enough BTC dropped and I lost £12. When I decided to withdraw my remaining £38 they tell me the minimum withdrawal is also £50(?!?!) . So go get my funds out I need to bring it back up to £50. BUT I can’t just buy £12 and then withdraw because the minimum buy is £50. So I’d have to invest another £50 to get my £38 out .. what a con! I am still awaiting a reply as I’ve told them to enable me just to add the £12 so I can withdraw. And before you think, ‘just close the account’ ….nope, same rules apply , YOU have to bring your account to zero before they’ll close it. You are Pirates and should lose your trading licence.

The reason I write this is because I like to point out the fact that this company likes to steal from consumers like me the whole context is that I didn't show them information in time which is fine but then they preceded to take my money.
now they did say they gave it to charity which is still wrong because it was my money.

I received,yes I contacted support and that's what they said " they gave it to charity and didn't explain why" now you are lying because you did steal my money and gave it to charity but to fair I don't know if you even did that.

In to day 8 keeping my money all prove sent this app is the most disgusting disrespectful app I have ever come across they should be banned from trading or the customers made aware before deposit they have a 99 % chance your money will be kept against your will.today I will be reporting them to my bank…..

Lost £1000 in one day because they frozen my funds.
Fair enough, I provided KYC but nothing changed, and I asked to send back my bitcoin to my Binance but I can’t touch my money.
Avoid at all cost ! Fund aren’t safe on this platform.

they told me to message support , i messaged support and still after providing all documents showing proof of income, they dont want to give me a time frame as to when my account will be unfrozen or funds will be released this is so unprofessional, how long does it take to review documents? surely not this long. they could just put my account to the side and completely forget about it since they dont want to give me a time frame this could take weeks , months or years, all i did was try to transfer btc to my legder. i do not recommend mode at all.

I just bought my second bitcoin tranch, such an easier, strees-free experience than when I first put a toe in the crypto market. I first thought about buying BTC when it was $15 now its over $40K, so a bit late but a good time to get on board for the ride upwards. Mode made the whole process straightforward and the online chat service was superb. I've been a customer of a well-known high St. bank for many years, they have a lot to learn and strong competiition ahead, especially with the ludicrous interest rates they want to charge for an agreed overdraft.

No contact phone number as my account has been hacked !! A lot of money has been taken and I need to track it to be returned 15 days from a email is not acceptable

Could not be happier with the Mode App. Currently a quick and seamless way to buy Bitcoin, but will be a game changer in making everyday payments through open banking. Can’t wait for The Hut Group and other merchants to be fully integrated. Great customer service too. Had a minor issue with logging in that was quickly resolved using live chat through the app.

Utter garbage.
I was initially impressed with Mode initially...until I wanted to transfer my Bitcoin to another wallet due to their lack of security options.
Zero replies to in app messages, emails, or social DM's.
They claim they are transparent with fees/ do not charge fees for transferring however, they do charge 0.0005 BTC (Approx £15) and claim its the blockchain fee. The mempool was virtually empty with fees ranging from 1-6 sat/vB.
So my actual blockchain fee was £1.13 (4,528 sats), But Mode charged the additional £15 also.
Get yourselves onto Kraken/ Crypto dot com exchanges because at very least they have better fees, take less time, and the added bonus of security features like 2FA/ security key

Locked all my family and friends finances as well as mine and now we have bills to pay that we can’t pay for as even Sterling £ held in Mode, assumed to not be at any risk is also locked and not just BTC.

All legal proof of source of funds was sent over two weeks ago, clearly showing payslips, bank statements and remortgage documents.

The customer services chat personnel just respond saying ‘we having nothing to tell you’ and ‘will message you if we have an update’.
Second lock in 6 months, so not just a one off as I first through the first time around. No information as to when funds will be released if ever.

Update…
After about a three week lock they have given us 24 hours to remove monies from our which I’m happy about, no information given as to why so possibly due to this review.
Can finally pay for bills with monies in locked.

Awesome app - very good UI and very easy to buy/sell Bitcoin. More features seem to be coming very soon to allow direct payments with merchants allowing for discounts and potentially cash back.
