SCAM. I should have checked the company out more thoroughly before buying.

Technically, I purchased some knee sleeves from “vitasleeves.com” but emails connected this order to modernlifestyleshop.com. I was sent a completely different product from what was pictured. I attempted to exchange the items sent to me for the items I actually ordered and quickly realized they didn’t even have the product pictured on the website. I was offered a 50% “discount”/refund and then 75% and I was “informed” that the items I received were the items I ordered despite me sending pictures of the product from the website and the product I received showing completely different items. I decided to cut my losses.

Completely unethical practice.

First of all I thought I would try this company out because it sounded really good. I started ordering and automatically started adding extra items so I actually overpaid for my items that I didn’t want! I should’ve check the reviews first, but the company sad they are from the us, found out it was from china! The items are so cheap, I could have bought them from Walmart! This Company is a scam ! Don’t trust it!

I bought 3 flea collars for my dogs thinking I would give the company a shot and all 3 got fleas. I used seresto for years and never had a problem. The only reason I was trying something new was they claimed to be all natural flea collars. BIG MISTAKE! Also they won’t refund my money. Stay clear of Modern Lifestyle Shop.

They shipped me a bogus rip-off imitation of the "real" product I wanted (Soothely neck massager). They sent me a cheap plastic version that you can buy on Ali Baba for 1/4 the cost. Am report them to BBB. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are scammers.

I bought a smart ring and is the wrong size and it won’t connect to Bluetooth and I need their phone number so I can return it

Ordered a pest repellant and I was charged for another item twice the cost. I called my credit card company and canceled the order right away. Tried to reach them several times but got no answer km Finall spoke to a CSR
and she sent me an email for a complete refund. My credit card company said they will hold the dispute open until I receive my refund
Someone called today and left a message and I called them back trying to explain what happened,they hung up on me

SCAM artists

I placed an order for a pair of the NoBlu Vision glasses. Received in four pair and a USB charger unit. Tried to call the company at the listed phone number; 1-888-662-1127. No one will answer. They posted four charges to my card. Can't get anyone from the company to reply.

I purchased two wifi extenders from them and they added a third unit without me knowing after my order was completed as a second charge.
I thought, okay I can use it, but now they are fraudulently trying to charge my credit card when I haven't been back on their site to order anything else because the extenders I got don't actually work. Glad my CC company caught it!

I wasn’t finished completing my order, and my credit card company sent me a fraud alert. They tried to bill my credit card before I completed my order. I’m glad I didn’t push the completion button. So this company must be on credo companies radar. Funny thing is they sent me a text saying I didn’t complete my order and are now giving me 70%. I was purchasing the flea and tick collars. Glad this all happened because they’ve been burning pet’s necks. Stay far away.

This is definitely a scam company. I was purchasing something from another company. My order did not go through so I called the number on the website. I was not happy with the conversation so I hung up and did not put the order through again about two hours later, we got a text from a credit card fraud department. The company tried twice to put through a charge for more than what I was trying to buy!

My elderly mother ordered 3 "Cyber Heater Portable Heater." They warmed the small bedroom and another warmed the bathroom, but new out of the box and 2 weeks of using, 1 of them popped loudly and I saw a giant orange spark. It no longer works. I am afraid to use the others now due to fire safety. I will buy from a big box store from now on, not from mail order. The heaters are cheap and a possible fire hazard.

Ordered cheap camera back in early February. One month later saw a charge for $24.99 show up on my credit card from them. Called and they said it was for a subscription to their company for discounts on their products. Said they would reverse the charge. Wait and see i guess.

Coupon card "expired" according to customer service, though there was no date on the card as to when this would occur. I won't be using Modern Lifestyle again!

ZERO STARS

I was thinking about purchasing a Black Vital Fit Track, Sports Watch, but was waiting for the person I would send it to so she could let me know if she wanted it. She's still at work, so I didn't complete the purchase.

Well, upon checking my email I found a receipt saying "THANKS FOR YOUR ORDER. I called and explained the situation to customer service, and he said that there was a glitch on their website. I THINK NOT! It was designed that way on purpose.

After trying several times to talk me into keeping the order, I told him that I only wanted the credit back to my card. So, I'll have to check my account for the next few days to make sure it's credited back.

Thankfully and surprisingly I was able to contact them by phone.

This is supposed to be an American business, but I believe that the call was from India.

I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!

I’ve just been back and forth with Modern Lifestyle Shop regarding a Vital Fit Tracker that I received yesterday and wanted to return.

First they offered a 50% discount if I kept it, then a 75% discount, then an 85% discount. I refused all of those and just wanted to send it back. I quoted this from the Vital Fit Track website:

The website says "We're so confident you'll love your Vital Fit Track that we offer 90 day money back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, simply return it within 90 days for a full refund."

I quoted the return policy from Modern Lifestyle Shop website which says a return within 30 days would be fully refunded.

I then get an email from Modern Lifestyle Shop saying there is a 15% restocking fee. I said fine, tell me where to send it and credit my credit card minus the restocking fee.

Then I get an email saying Modern Lifestyle Shop have credited the 85% and that will show on my account in 3-5 days. I did NOT agree to this.

Next I get an email from Vital Fit Track saying that they have issued an RMA and that they have to receive this back within 30 days. Another email from Vital Fit Track received shortly before the RMA one says a refund has been applied.

My fault for not checking before actually placing an order.

I would give this company negative stars. It’s definitely a scam!!! Ordered the LeFun Health Ring December 19th. Received it December 30th. The ring worked for 24hrs and then nothing. I’ve been calling them for over a week. I can only speak to someone that barely speaks English yet they have names like Nancy, Sam, and Victor. They had me recharge it, deleted the app and reloaded the app, they had me try another app that did not make sense and was not even in the Apple App Store (I think they were just trying to push me to call back later because they knew they were not going to help). Today I get thru only to be told I am 2 days outside their warranty and there is nothing they can do. That’s cute!!!! Keep your money, this business is a SCAM!!!!

I bought an A9 Smart Camera, and it doesn't work. I had it on briefly, shut it off to position it so there wouldn't be motion. Apparently I didn't have to. After trying to get it to connect to my wifi, which it would not do, I called them. Was told to delete app, put app back on phone, turn off phone and restart then try again. At that point I said I would prefer just to return it. We had a postal strike in Canada but was told I had it longer than 30 days so no can do. I asked if they could send me one that works then? Nope. In their ads they day 2 year warranty but that also wasn't mentioned by the person I was speaking to. My experience was terrible, I'm out $90 and the Blinks I have are so much easier to use and are functionally much more superior.

My wife bought me the bolts game stick for Christmas opened it Christmas day went to use it 2 weeks later.
No instruction in it ,called support told they would send it told to email support. Finally figured out myself how to hook up. Well 1 set of controllers/stick the receiver was broken and the other had the stutters and couldn't control the action. At that point I wanted to return it for a refund . I was told no refunds after 30 days. I am 3 weeks from Christmas but way over the 30 days from when my wife ordered it.
No exceptions . I sent several emails told them to speak to a supervisor etc. They did nothing constructive to help and to boot they don't even replace the broken product which is covered in the same 30 day policy and you would have to pay the shipping again.
THEY ARE A JOKE and no-one should do business

Like another customer I made a purchase via Pay Pal, and it did not finalize. I repeated the process and lo and behold I got charged for 2 items. I immediately sent an e-mail to customer service requesting that one item get cancelled immediately. The e-mail was sent 1/5/25 and I did not get a reply until 1/28/25. The reply apologized for the delay, and advised my items had been delivered. There was no mention of a refund. I sent another e-mail today, I am very doubtful that I will hear a repose. My next step will be Pay Pal and BBB. Please people be aware there are som many scammers on. line these days.

Bought 4 heaters, one came dead in the box. Customer service sent another free of charge. This one didn't work either. Asked for another - was offered 50% partial refund and I can keep the products, no return necessary. 2 days later 2 of the heaters have melted themselves - doesn't look good for the last one. Contacted them to return everything since 3 out of 4 now don't work - was told the money back guarantee no longer applies since I accepted 50% back. This is all in less than a month...
