Never sent out my full order and replied 2 months later then it fell on deaf ears again, do not buy from these people, absolute scammers

After receiving the incorrect item, it took weeks of sending emails and messages on social media to receive a reply. I was instructed to return the item so the correct item could be resent. Which I did. It then took weeks of emails and social media messages again to be told the correct item would be shipped. Weeks later after still not receiving my item I again reached out via email, only to receive a reply weeks later to be told they were out of stock of my item and I had been issued a refund. Never once was I offered an apology or any remorse shown. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Received a horn that looks wildly different to anything displayed on their website, in a colour that can only be described as side walk pee with a couple dookie streaks in it. Been to their partner restaurant, saw at least 10 in person and saw at least 30 on their website. Figured I'd be safe. What looks like a cheap resin pour of urine turns up at my door, ok not a big deal hopefully I can swap it. Then dealt with the most condescending attitude from customer service. I actually can't be bothered returning it now, I don't believe the products they send out are the same as the ones they display. They genuinely included -
"I don't understand the need to be rude, and refer to it as plastic which clearly shows you dont understand what you are talking about. Do you understand how much trouble we would be in if we were selling plastic and saying that it is horn?

Absolutely insane response from customer service. Very glad I got it on sale. Absolutely do not pay full price for their pieces of caca.

Holy Dooley. My order turned up a bit late, but that’s my fault due to a last minute Christmas situation. The team was marvellous in their responses and making sure that everything happened as quick as possible.

The order itself though, so worth the wait. Made all the brothers feel like big strong men whilst none of them knew how to carve up a decent Boxing Day lump of meat. They Viking enthusiasm was sublime. The product, incomparable. The energy of these men drinking their cute lil juices from their horns? Adorably masculine.

I love that it came with all the info and it was very clear in the order that this is not some cheap, Temu situation, but a well crafted item that will be a celebration within itself.

Thanks Modern Viking, not only was your product friggen fantastic, but your communication was *chefs kiss*.

I got the The Horn Of Kingsguard for my brother's 60th birthday, with his initials in runes carved into it. He was completely blown away with the uniqueness of the gift. He absolutely loves it. Knowing that they are all different, I think we got lucky with one that's colours are even nicer than that shown on the website. It is beautiful!

When I ordered this (knife) I was very skeptical, it is for my adult son’s Xmas present and as a collector he isn’t into novelty knives. I was blown away with the quality of the knife, the packaging and the free little gifts inside. My sons isn’t one to show much of a reaction with gifts but we know we will get one with this, he’s going to love it!
One other thing to mention, I ordered late evening, by midnight I had a tracking number, and this is during the Xmas period. They are on top of getting orders out asap.

I ordered my partner his Christmas presents from modern Viking. There was a couple of items missing but the team were extremely helpful and all the items will be received my Chrissy! Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! The products I bought are absolutely perfect and the customer service is exceptional!! Will definitely be buying myself some things from here 😊

So I placed an order back in August 2025 - for fathers day.

Unfortunately my experience with this company hasn't been all that great.

My order came late and was missing items, which here I am 4 months later and a week out from Christmas and I still haven't received the rest of my order.

I paid extra of express postage as well, as I got items engraved and thinking it would arrive on time....

I have no correspondence or updates from the company unless I hound them. My emails go ignored.

One of the worst experiences I've come across shopping online, customer service just doesn't exsist.

My hubby knows about the order and the items that are missing and even he asks on a weekly basis have i heard anything - which is always a no.

He is disappointed too.

At this point I just want the rest of my order, but with such a negative experience I won't be purchasing from this company again.

Such beautiful craftsmanship. Nice weight and balance. Cuts beautifully. A real show piece. The excellent quality leather is great protection from damage and adds to it's beauty. I highly recommend Modern Viking for quality viking products. I was surprised at the speed of delivery too. Have just order another one!

I just received my order of a leaf knife and wanted to say how beautiful it is. I didn't realise it came in a leather pouch which is also amazing. It is a present for my husband and I know he is going to love it. The quality is amazing and I will definitely purchase again. Great to support Australian businesses.

I love Modern Viking! They were amazingly fast with service and provided me with good, quality products. I could not be more happier with the items I received. Ordered on Sunday and got them by Wednesday, WITH personalised inscription in Runes (which I fact checked) and I love it.

The only negative I will put is that I wanted to look at their jewellery however their website link wasn’t working as well as I hoped and the only way to view it was to use the search bar and it only showed me necklaces…. I do hope they fix this glitch and also expand in this area, cause me like some jewellery….

Poor and slow communication, they sent me the complete wrong order and took ages replying to me about rectifying it then some items were apparently out of stock but would not tell me which, communication was hard to follow, it got painful so I requested a refund only to cop attitude if I wanted to follow through with it which I did they then didn't fully refund me despite following this up my contact was ignored
