fix things right the first time
fix things right the first time. if you cant, don't fix it. Did not have a receipt had customers name, phone number, address, fax number and approximate date. Rude and inconsiderate. Now I have a customers car sitting in my garage in everybody's way. They worked on it before. All I needed was them to look at it and see if is fixable. (I was willing to pay for the shipping) 4/19/24 after sending the ECU out to repair to different business they told me that the ECU was programed wrong. Don't use this co. Bad apple.
Buyer Beware / Dont do business with Modular Experts
I purchased a module in August 2023 and I was told it was mailed. The module never arrived. On December 11, 2023 I requested a refund. I was told it was being processed. I.would have the refund in 5 to 7 days. Refund never was received. I call again asking about my refund and Melissa one of the most unprofessional clerks I have ever spoken to now states that the post office delivered the module. Keep in mind that they were processing my refund already. They mailed the module to the wrong address and the post office sent it back. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and spoke with Daryl. I am the customer who received nothing and he screams at me like a child having a temper tantrum. I asked for the owners information however it was not provided. I was scammed out of $250 being told that my module could not be repaired. I was told if I sent them $660 more I could get a refurbished module. It is now March 30th 2024 and I have no module and no refund. Buyer beware as all they are doing is scamming people out of their money.
So glad I read these reviews of this…
So glad I read these reviews of this seemingly horrible outfit. I was prepared to send them my ECM and $164.00 but these reviews stopped me! Thank you guys for the warning! How are these guys allowed to run this scam?
COMPLETE SCAM DONT DO IT
Complete scam paid and sent my unit in and they returned it a week later without and documentation. I put the module back in same problem never fixed anything. Emailed Adam E without any response and then a credit of $38.00 was received on my credit card. So I called and was told my unit tested good no need for repair the other $130 dollars was charged for testing. TOTAL SCAM DONT DO IT.
Dont even Recommend Calling
Tried to call to set up a new job, but becuase i mentioned i had worked with another company previosuly on something else he was very rude and hung up on me, dont waste your time.
Modules Experts/ AES Modules / Nationwide Wholesalers
Modules Experts, AES Modules, Nationwide parts wholesaler - this company is a farse. We sent a complete ABS module to them to have repaired - quoted $217 for the repairs only to have to call them back on the date we were supposed to receive the repaired ABS module back in house for our repair job to be completed - to find out that the technician supposedly had just finished the inspection and stated our ABS module was not repairable. Chris C then stated that they had one readily available in stock that they could ship out to us and it would be an additional $199 - due to the fact we could not find one anywhere else and they stated they had it in stock we ordered it. We were supposed to have the part in the following Monday - only for it to arrive on Thursday. But not after contacting their company to ask for help in locating our part as it did not arrive per the date we were notified - i spoke with a young lady - one of the worst customer service representative I have spoken to in my 30 plus years in business. Then when we finally received the "remanufactured ABS Module" it did not come with the bracket to install. I then contacted them back and stated we did not receive the unrepairable ABS module that we shipped to them back in house - The VERY RUDE customer service representative then told me that they do not ship "OUR" part back unless requested - NEVER HEARD OF SUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! The customer service representative hung up on me. RUDE RUDE! Called back and asked to speak to the sales manager - a lady named Amber was on the phone and she said how can i Help you - i said i needed to speak with the Sales Manager - I said are you the sales manager - she said yes a manger but not the sales manager as they were not available - went through the whole long story with her - and she basically said that we could send them a shipping label and they would ship OUR ABS module back to us - at that point I was so frustrated - i said thank you and hung up - PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THESE COMPANIES when you are looking for a module repair facility! Hope this helps someone out there! Sincerely - Extremely frustrated!
Same story as all the rest of these…
Same story as all the rest of these reviews. Total scam. They have even blocked my number so now I can't even call them. I've called the Sheriff's office to try and retrieve my property. I'm sure that will work without a hitch...yeah right.
These people are crooks.
Update two weeks later: They sent me a "fixed" computer. The Jeep will now start, but none of the gauges work. The broken computer I sent them had the opposite problem; no start, but all the gauges worked. After using my wife's phone (because my number is blocked) they told me to send it back and will send a good one out right away. That was a week ago.
Now they have my $600, my original computer, and the "repaired" computer. Not one phone call, not a single email, nothing updating me on the status of my order.
STAY AWAY!
I Joined the SCAM.
Like many customers Paid $149 for repair of my ECM. Sent part they said bad chip and could not be fixed. Wanted $250 for a refurbished one. Total shake down. Finally part was returned no sign the ECM was ever taken apart nor tested. Many other customers with same scam. Steer clear.

Sent my 2004 silverado ABS Module in because of code P0265 which is a ground code they told me it was not repairable and that a remfacture module would cost me an additional $349 on top of the $164 i paid for the diagnostic you can by one from rock auto for $233. Go a rude email saying it was a mistake not to buy it from them. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SENDING THEM ANYTHING......
I made the mistake of trusting this…
I made the mistake of trusting this company. They said they were unable to repair my bcm and I would need a replacement. $500 plus shipping and it didn't work. They said they would clone it and it would be plug and play. There was more problems with it than the old one. I sent it back and they sent another one. That one had different problems. Now I have to take it to the dealer and hope they can solve the problems Moduleexperts has caused. Stay away from them.
This company is 100 percent a scam

These guy took my ECM and Payment then…
These guy took my ECM and Payment then request another $1.2k stating that they need to clone it when previously they stated that they can repair it. after waiting for tracking and response for a week, the phone number is incorrect as dialed. They wanted fees for tell me something that I've already known. Its unfortunate that I didnt see all these review before. It's sad that business like these are published online to take advantage of people.
SCAM ALERT
I really wish i had read this before sending my part to these clowns. Fake technician didn’t even respond with any information about why they couldn’t fix my module. My module was returned in a plain box with no receipt and no explanation from them of anything that was done (nothing)obviously. My Abs module clearly shows no signs that it was ever opened .I received a $60 partial refund of $240. Please don’t make the same mistake I made you will regret it.
Good deed gone very bad
The 2010 Nissan xterra ran fine, wouldn’t start in cold weather so I thought I’d help this single mom out, called module experts “oh yeah , comman problem, give us 250 plus return shipping and will be ready to go for ya! So 5 days later ME calls back , computer is bad , but we found one for 900 and we’ll roll the 250 into the 900 to save you money….SCAM!! Told them to send it back, bar code ripped off computer and computer would no longer start car along with no analyzer connection which I had before . This has caused so much headache, leave it to the self serving mindless grey mass, I m going to ask my attorney if a class action lawsuit could be used here. This company is not worth the risk
