WOW, CRAP COMPANY

Horrible customer service

Originally they gave us a price to repair a dodge PCM with a lifetime warranty, after having the PCM for almost a month, Andy called to let me know they can not give us anything except a 90 day warranty for the same price, gave the ok after talking to the customer. Another 3 weeks go by and I recieved an VM from Andy saying they cannot repair and is sending it back. Called Andy multiple times to find out why it cant be repaired, how much the refund is etc so I can give this information to my customer who has been out a vehcile close to two months now. I was hung up on every time just transfering me to Customer service who also could not give me any answers. We will never use this company again.

i would give it a -5 if i could.i sent in a module for my bmw as most have said they told me it coulnt be repaired that took two weeks,they said it would be another 400.00 on top of the first charge for a rebuilt one.i accepted like a fool. a month later the module failed called in for that big lifetime warranty was told that i had to send the receipt,and a mechanics documentation as to the problem.Heres the big catch for some reason they cannot accept these things by email.which is very suspisious as there recepts are sent to you by email i sent the codes that the mechanic sent to me as they asked but i guess hes got to show up in person,who knows.Place is a total scam im reporting them to the attorney general and see which direction they send me

What an absolute joke this company is

What an absolute joke this company is. I would ask any customer who has a problem with module "experts" to file a complaint with the federal trade commission. I did, and I hope if enough people report them they will get shut down and save future people from being screwed. I lost 1400$, my ecu is from a diesel truck, so more expensive. I plan on filing a police report, but I'm not sure if it will help me recover my money or my ecu. It's been almost a month and I still have no idea when or if my module is going to be returned. I wish I had read some reviews before choosing this place.

I own a mech business

I own a mech business. I sent a pcm out of a 2015 ford they said 3 to 5 business days that was a lie it took longer then they said. When they sent it back I had call them and they told me it was not repairable. There custom service people are rude. I got half the money back but when I call them the first time they told me I would get a full refund back that not the truth. Don't do business with these people. Will not recommend them to my business people I know.

Same scam, different sucker.

Same scam as has been mentioned numerous times, sent my PCM in to be fixed, was told it was unrepairable, paid more money for a “remanufactured” unit, had to pay someone $150 to allow the reman to start my truck, issue remained with new unit. They said send it back for warranty work which I did, they sent me back my “unrepairable” PCM, refunded $200 of the $332 I sent them and I never received any explanation or heard from them again. I sincerely doubt they actually work on these units, I suspect they are nothing more than a PCM junkyard, swapping old units hoping they’ll correct the problem.

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. MY PCM WAS DEEMED UNREPAIRABLE AND WHEN I RECIEVED IT BACK IT LOOKED AS IF SOMEONE USED A PICK AND DREW ALL OVER THE CIRCUIT BOARD. EVERY SINGLE PERSON OVER THERE WILL HANG UP IN YOUR FACE WHEN YOU CALL AND QUESTION THERE WORK. I DID NOT RECIEVE A SINGLE THING I WAS PROMISED OR CHARGED FOR. DONT USE THIS COMPANY I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE REVIEWS. THATS MY BAD!

AVOID TOUCHING IT BY CREATING STACTIC ELECTRICITY! MAKE SURE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED ! It took longer to come back than promised. That was expected because I knew my modules was 1 in thousands! Just Horrible

SCAM! Do not make the mistake that I did and send them your PCM. Rather than do what they promised and repair it for a low cost, they will say they cannot repair it and they will gladly sell you another PCM for hundreds more. Received a VERY rude email from one of their their techs who was upset that I tried to talk to him directly instead of just reply back to his email. Took me 4 phone calls to get them to finally issue a partial refund and send the PCM back.

Oh boy what a joke this place is it…

Oh boy what a joke this place is it needs to be knocked down and turned into a parking lot. I got screwed by these losers. After the bait and switch taking $212.12 of my money, then only refunding $64 of it to tell me my ECM was bad; duh you dumb a***s. Then charged another $430 after telling me my old one was unrepairable.Had to wait another 4 days for them to send me the ECM and it was worse than the damaged ECM I took out. At least it started, the piece of crap they sent me wouldn't start it at all. I called and the dumb lady on the phone says, her exact words, "We'll send it back and we can TRY to fix it" LOL. my next step is going to News4JAX. I live here, time for this place to come to an END!!!!!!!!!!

Absolute Crooks

This company needs to shut their doors. I will not swear any more. I thought maybe I would get my $164 back, of course not. As everyone says, sent my part $25 to ship, $164, they didn't do s*it (ooops). Worst business experience in my entire 69 years of life. 54 as a car builder, etc. I sur hope people see these. I made the mistake of reading on their website. If they indeed do something right, I would be more then happy to eat my words. I will keep watching this site. A review was just written like 10 days ago. Spead the word.

Sent them my BCM for repair

Sent them my BCM for repair. They sent it back with no info. As in nothing else in the box but my module. Nothing showing the tests they conducted or even if the module was good or bad. I felt like I paid them $164 to open the box, change the packing, and ship it back to me.
I called them to ask what the diagnosis was and they said the unit was bad and could not be repaired. I opened the BCM up as a last resort and fixed it myself. I guess that makes me more of a repair expert, and them an expert of ripping off people.

They are absolutely rudest people I have ever encountered. The repair they returned to me is in working condition so far however its only been 2 weeks. I was trying to send in another unit and they were extremely rude when I requested a quote. I was told they already talked to me and quoted me on this unit, when in fact the unit I was inquiring about was for a totally different car. So if it was the same price how was I supposed to know that? Their whole system is a waste of time. Once you know how much it is you should just be able to fill out the form pay for it and send it in. They waste so much time with their process and the attitudes you get while trying to send them work is just not worth it. NEVER AGAIN

I should have read the online reviews

I should have read the online reviews. I have been an auto technician for 44 years. I trust vendors to be honest and upright. A simple clean up and repair of the conections would fix my unit. You are neither upright or honest. I have 30 days to dispute charges on my card. I will pay to have the origional shipped back after i recieve it and validate it is the one i sent.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Bad customer service!!! No product!! Lied for three weeks!!! Keeped my money still to this day!!! Sue the fk out of them!!! Melanie lied to me four times, Alan is worthless!! No wonder, I should have checked there ratings first! I will be complaining to the attorney general in Florida and we’re ever else!!! Where the hell is the owner to resolve this issue!!! In the Bahamas spending mine and your monies illegally!!!

Unbelievably rude

I enquired about purchasing a refurbished part, or having mine repaired, giving Ford part numbers. I was told by an "internet sales associate" that "I need the real parts numbers that are on the units. Not Ford dealer numbers." I'm not sure what a "dealer number" would be, but I confirmed that the numbers I gave were Ford part numbers. The response to that was "Stop wasting my time."

Modular Experts are not a ethical…

Modular Experts are not a ethical organization and their customer service representatives(Mark) are not professional and are liars.
I sent in a ECM and was told a unit with water damage is something they repair all the time and it should be plug & play.
I didn't hear from Mark so I sent him a email for a update and he never gave me anything meaningful.
This went on and on until I got ahold of the manager(Melissa) on the 5th day and then I immediately got a call from Mark.
It was a sorry "Dear John Response" that it can't be fixed and their's not solution.
After paying about $300.00, the refund was $81.00 for doing nothing.
I suspect they knew it wasn't fixable from day one but they had to get paid for a dry run.
I wasted time and more money by having my van sit idle.
I would never recommend them to anyone because they are unethical and down right arrogant in dealing with the public.
There's many other companies available that conduct themselves properly out there.

Should have read the reviews first

Should have read the reviews before sending ECU. They ask for detailed descriptions on what is going on. In a few days, you get an email stating the unit is not repairable and ask for options to get a rebuild plug and play for $$$$ more money. They seem to build a story around your description to why it is bad. I went ahead and did the rebuild option. Also asked for my original unit back. About 2wks later I get my units and no change in performance. Still have the issue. Their response is.. well, it must be something else than the ECU. Lol. We’ll come to find out, it was a $20 main relay.
No even sure they test these units. Just make up a story to get the extra $$$$.
