Despite being clear about my business model and needs I have been sold a product (not a cheap one) that is clunky and unsuitable. I have spent hours and hours trying to find loop hole and ways to work a system that is quite frankly shit. I have requested help and changes to no avail. I quite like the people that try to help on the chat but no matter how helpful they try and be they cant rewrite the program to meet my needs. Nobody has reached out in response to my frustrations and requests for help. The onboarding team didnt correctly transfer my data which I guess should have been more of a red flag.

I found this chat to be one of the most effective support chats I have experienced. I like that he gave step by step instructions (click this then click that) on how to access what was needed to accomplish the task. He also was informative is finding a way to accomplish what I want to accomplish in the system.

Mommence is like that ex boyfriend who won’t leave you alone to the point you need to get a restraining order to keep them away. This company continues to ignore my requests to be taken off their system as we do not wish to transfer over to their booking system. From phone calls to emails they continue to ignore my requests to the point of it becoming harassment. Hopefully this will now stop them and help them get the message

They have zero interest in actually helping their customers when something goes wrong. App frequently breaks, paid features stop working, access to data is lost without explanation. Customer experience is awful. Two years of running a studio and I watch the quality of customer support drop further and further. Lost data. Lost access to SMS for months. They made wild promises to help and they actually did very little TO HELP when something went wrong. Replied to emails with stock responses, without actually ever solving problems. When I first joined Momence it was great. But as time has wore on, the experience has BEEN AWFUL. So much so that I have taken both my studios off the platform and vow never to use them again. 14 hours it took them to respond to a complete data wipeout. No acknowledgement from them that anything is ever actually broken. Constant SPAM from them about upsell features that I don't want. And no matter how many times you hide the ad banners from inside the product, they keep coming back. So many automated emails about customers having written reviews about my business, only to be told they are hidden behind a paywall. Two years I complained about this, and so many times they, again, promised it had been fixed. Again another lie.
App constantly shutting down or not working unexpectedly and then they take so long to reply to emails and messages, because god forbid you actually call and get a response that's actually anything decent.
Onboarding experience for my second studio, also terrible. Team that had little interest in helping me, so I was left to sign myself up. Discussed many grandfathered features and offers that none of the team had even heard of, and then I had to fight for weeks for someone to give me a half decent response about the so-called referral program.. only to find, that again, no one knew what I was talking about. It just took SO LONG to get answers. Not acceptable given the money you are paying for the platform .
In theory, this should be an excellent tool. Instead the experience has left me fuming. Just a typical american start up who failed to properly scale their customer support team, and instead of actually pausing and fixing the problem, just kept growing and let it get out of hand.
Based in Australia, so they never replied in a suitable time, it was always so late at night, or I had to wait until the next day to get a semi-decent response. If you are outside America and try to use this product, don't bother.
So many promises to resolve issues. Issues never resolved.

I booked a demo and the guy did not listen to anything I had to say. I am just starting my business - it is only me, and he kept trying to sell me on the business plan and all the extra add-ons. Also, I am in Canada and it's all US prices, which is fine, but for $199 usd a month plus plus plus for the add-ons, he would not listen at all when I said I wasn't ready to spend that type of money. He then also continued to book me follow-up zoom calls without asking me what my schedule was like, just decided the time of our meeting (which I never asked for following the initial demo.)
I think upgraded to the Individual plan so I could edit the email templates - and what do you know, they locked my account saying I was primarily a messaged-based business. Offering yoga classes and 1:1 yoga sessions online and in person is a message-based business? Got it. They said it was a "safety measure" and they wouldn't take the lock off. Waste of time and money. AVOID!

Stay as far away from his company as possible. Just use Mind Body or anyone else. Hard sell from the Australian manager, misleading contracts and he'll squeeze in every add on he can. Just sales people. And once they lock you into the 12 month contract watch the customer service drops away. Customer service to resolve system issues are slow. American company with sales person here just trying to make sales whatever the cost. Don't seem to have any interest in keeping clients long term.

I've been pestered, I repeat, pestered, for two years by this company trying to get the business to sign up with them. Besides the fact that they keep calling me the wrong name, which just shows such luck of competence, they haven't taken in all the emails I sent asking them to stop contacting us. I still get emails and international and national calls every week. It is time consuming, unprofessional and beyond belief how they keep going at a business in such aggressive and relentless way. I hope that with this review they will stop such aggressive marketing behaviour once and for all.
