They have cancelled my orders and sent me the wrong items, purposefully, countless times. They list hundreds - if not thousands - of stock which they don't have and then they either don't send anything, cancel the order after an indefinite amount of time, or send another item of equivalent weight and measurement but not remotely equivalent in topic. It's usually something pathetic and insulting.
I've played around with them and bought up copies of books I knew they were lying about having in stock - as with other bookjackers who were listing alongside them - and then had my orders cancelled or been sent cheap throwaway books that not even a worm would read.
Worms actually have taste!
How the script goes next is, they apologize and say they'd never do it knowingly and that they're sorry but they have no copies to send a replacement, even though copies are still listed (or relisted) in their inventory, and then they refund you or, sometimes, they get mean-spirited and won't refund you, treating the customer like a naughty child that needs to be punished, demanding instead, like sour-pout Fräulein divas, that you return the items because it was your mistake.
They respond with stock answers that aren't relevant - didn't receive item, they tell you that the condition of your item is as described and you should know this, or, sent the wrong item, they say they're sorry it hasn't arrived yet but give it more time to arrive.
Anyway, sick of their criminality, myself and others are taking them on, in more ways than one. One way, as iterated, we buy the stock they don't have, get refunded, buy the stock again, get refunded, this goes on and on until they learn to remove their fake listings from the marketplace because they're getting too much flak feedback from us over something so preventable - dishonesty. It's quite simple, be respectable and you'll be respected, whether that's as a company or as an individual.
So that you know their methods, and the methods of others like them, they do this - listing stock they don't have - to make interest off of the money coming in and held for those weeks that you wait for your order or wait for a refund, and/or they do this to tax dodge by claiming losses on orders which never existed in the first place for them to fulfill. I've reported them and will continue to do so. I suggest others do the same. Trading standards, law enforcement, marketplaces, elsewhere~
Edited to add, I persisted with chasing them up for a refund for the most recent wrong order that they were being huffy about and succeeded in getting a refund after some back-and-forth deliberation. First, they said they had refunded me, I checked and saw that they hadn't, so I contacted again, as you can see below, and asked for them to ensure that it was done, which worked, although they refunded the item price and the postage costs in two stages. Feel free to use my below email as a starting template for your grievances with Momox / Medimops~

Hi,
Thanks for your response, and thank you for offering to refund me. I see I haven't been refunded as yet, could you initiate this please? I have to correct you also - Momox / medimops does not have a strict control system. I know that's something you have to say, you parrot what you've been told to parrot, but it's not accurate. This is something that regularly, regularly happens, not just to me but to many of your customers. Across the years I personally have been sent dozens of wrong books which are equal measurement and equal weight to the book I wanted, never anything larger (or smaller), quite by design, but not the actual title I'm after. Case in point, just now, if I purchased multiple - multiple - copies of [...] from Momox, the book we are referring to now, and I was sent each time the wrong book, then the control system by definition can't be very strict. Momox have listed this book on Amazon and input that they had around ten copies in stock, none of which turned up; some of which were cancelled, most of which I was sent absolute garbage in its place. I guess the garbage I was sent will either not arrive with the person who eventually intends to buy the garbage or it won't matter because they're charity shop chaff from mountainous molehills in-warehouse, i.e. no one wants them anyway, they're discards from the pulp recycling pile. I think Momox / Medimops needs to be investigated, don't you?
Be well, all the best,
*********

They sell pirated music. Ordered an album and got a Sony CD-R with the pirated music. Absolute scam and joke.

Very easy online shopping experience, good selection of brands and good quality of clothes. Prices are getting higher - but still Errrr value compared to new!
I purchased a vinyl record from Momox through Amazon last month and when it arrived it was scratched and defective. I then initiated a return and was told that Royal Mail would collect my parcel with a return label already printed by Momox. 3 days in a row, Royal Mail came past and said they haven’t recieved the return label. I then messaged Momox on the Amazon app and they apologised and said I should go to my nearest post office to return the item, non-tracked and no insurance and they will reimburse me with the return fee and refund me. That was the 20th of October.. it is now the 12th of November and after messaging back and forth demanding my refund, I still have not received it! They keep coming back with the same standard message template saying once they receive the return they will initiate the refund. How is it possible if I returned this item over 3 weeks ago and they have not recieved it. This is a pure scam. Do not buy from this company if you want to save your sanity, money and time!

I ordered something, they gave me my money back and cancelled the order days after without notification. The item 'wasn't available'.
Update: The solution the company provided was to send me another email to notify me again (after the initial correspondence) that a refund was given and that the invoice was corrected.

My package has been lost for a month. The tracking is ineffective: three investigations opened with Amazon Shipping in one week, which we're told can take six weeks (!!!). In short, we're being given the runaround until we're completely exhausted. At Momox, the customer clearly bears the brunt of internal logistics problems. The French call center is inefficient and unprofessional. When you're left high and dry, what recourse do you have ? In short, they won't be seeing me again anytime soon.

I am generally satisfied with selling clothing through Momox. However, I regret that I can no longer use momox.fr, as it previously provided a free shipping label. Currently, I can only sell via momox.de, which requires me to pay €16.50 for shipping up to 10 kg. I find this quite expensive, especially considering I reside in Belgium.
I made an order( dictionary) on 9 October and its was paid but never received any confirmation

I'm located in Australia and found this store online, where I purchased what was supposed to be the Italian hardcover edition of the Slash book by Anthony Bozza.
However, instead of the book, I received a Slash featuring Myles Kennedy CD/DVD.
Please be cautious when ordering online, as this was not what I expected. As a result, I am unable to return the item because they did not provide a return shipping label, meaning I would have to cover the cost myself. Additionally, they cannot send a replacement since the item is out of stock. It seems they are selling products they don’t actually have, which feels like a scam.
Ordered some books but one did not arrive in the package. Was asked to wait until a certain date and then sign a "declaration of honour" confirming that I did not receive the item in order to receive the reimbursement.
What is quite shocking is that customer service then asked me to re-order the item - despite it being less than the minimum price needed to get free shipping, which I had for my original order. When I pointed this out to customer service, they simply told me again to re-order the item, regardless of the additional shipping fees which I did not originally pay - apparently because they deal with many packages and are therefore "unable to intervene on a case by case basis".

This company is an absolute shower of cowboys. When I realized I had purchased CDs that were years out of date and not compatible with my PC I wrote immediately to cancel. They ignored. They ignored my cancellation request via Amazons sent instantly. They then ignored Amazon staff telling them to cancel my order. Then they ignored another Amazon request to cancel. Then they wrote saying "too late to cancel" and tried forcing them onto me. Amazons were really embarrassed and refunded me fully at their expense. They said the matter would be escalated their Selling Standards Team for action against Momox.Do NOT deal with this company as they are disgraceful scamsters !!!!!

Do not order with this company, not via Amazon either. They sell your book as "new", but arrive filled with disgusting stains, tears, and folds. When requesting a return they will make you pay the full return amount yourself and once returned they will not refund you. And Amazon will fully defend them instead of protecting you as a customer.

I bought a book via Amazon from Momox. I received a completely different book; a novel by Rosamunde Pilcher...I returned the book to Momox but all shipment costs are on me.
And I still haven't received the book I did order on Amazon.

Momox suffers from the same "enshittification" process as so many corporations... they used to be so great, now they give you BS excuses to refuse your clothing, and today I logged in to find that a dress I wanted to buy suddenly had gone from 8,90€ to 22,90€, along with a nice message telling me that my item return rate was "high" with 5 items returned out of 5 ordered and that i was "wasting resources". Excuse me? Where is that BS coming from? Firstly, NEVER did I return all items purchased (I sent back maybe 5 out of 30-40 purchased), secondly items were sometimes returned because totally effed (10cm rip in butt area of trousers), and momox is even advertising the fact you can return items, but then makes you feel guily when you do? Well played guys, guilt tripping customers lost you one of them!

Momex is an absolutely horrible company. I ordered a CD from them through Amazon. It never arrived. Momex gave me a DHL tracking number that didn't work. After I finally was able to reach Momex they told me that they had no idea about the location of the CD and that DHL doesn't have a tracking system. When they sent me a message, it was in French. Unfortunately, I don't speak French. They seem to be too stupid to realize that my message to them was in English.
I will never buy anything from Momex again and would encourage others to do the same. Overall, Momex is a horrible company!

I sold 10+ items of clothing to Momox - some of them never worn or worn only once. Everything was rejected for reasons that make no sense. A pair of faded dungaree jeans was rejected because they are faded - that’s just the style! A Levi’s denim skirt that I had never worn was rejected because they said it wasn’t made by Levi’s (literally bought from a Levi’s store that year). A never-worn pair of jeans was returned for a ‘stain’. They don’t send proof. I have wasted time and money, and I would have to pay €12 just to get these items back. Don’t waste your time with Momox - just sell your items yourself.

I never write reviews here or in other websites, but I think that such a shady business cannot go on unpunished like this.
I sent over 15 books to Momox. One of the copies in best condition, the Yellow Book of German Verbs (sent with its original CD), which I acquired on BookDepository some years ago, was catalogued as Raubkopie(!): yes, pirated or not original.
This is funny, because I still have the original receipt in my email from BookDepository (a company that would be later be bought by Amazon). Unfortunately, I cannot upload it here, but I will do it on GoogleMaps.
I am happy that I donated over 100 books to Oxfam and trusted what many reviews were stating here.
Edit: Momox gives AI-generated answers to these reviews and to the messages that one sends to the email address stated below.
All in all, a business based on taking books almost for free to sell them to the public. Bordering on the criminal.

Bought something trough bol.com. returned it the 10th of July. I still have not got my money back. I've sent them 10 emails already and no one seems to answer with written replies.
Dont order here and expect normal service.

Reply from momox
I sent them 4 books, two of which (the most expensive ones, I am sure by pure coincidence) got declined for being promotional or loan versions, which is simply a lie. I sent them normal store bought versions of the books in great condition. These are not promotional or loan versions.
When trying to contact customer service, they simply hung up on me three times, before I got to talk to a customer service agent that barely spoke German, completely ignored my request, and told me to call back an hour later.
This company seems to try to rip people off. Cannot recommend.
Edit: After countless calls with their atrocious customer service, and complaining publicly here, Momox re-checked the books I sent and accepted them. Which makes sense, as there was nothing wrong with them in the first place.
I updated my review from 1 to 2 stars, to reflect this news. However, I still got a very bad impression and the feeling that they tried to rip me off, and only relented after I complained persistently and publicly.

I ordered a book on 21/4/25. I chased the delivery on 19/5/25 and was told it was dispatched but to allow 20 working days for delivery. I chased the delivery again on 11/6 and was told that they never had the book in the first place. So they tell lies to their customers. Not a serious merchant and to be avoided.
