Order not even sent for over a month

I placed an order before Christmas and it has still not shown up, not even an email saying the item has been dispatched? At this point I feel this company is a scam, I have sent multiple emails, messages via instagram and not received any help, I would be happy with a refund at this point

Good Product with Bad Communication

UPDATE:
On the 3rd January I finally received a reply to all the countless emails I've already sent. I immediately got a refund and the option to still get the order for free. I really liked this gesture and accepted it. However even though the free order had been confirmed immediately I received no tracking information or any kind of confirmation that the new parcel is on its way during the following days. Not until I emailed them again asking about the status and whereabouts of this new package. Then they finally dispatched it and at last, it arrived another 2 days later.

So I change my initial 1/5 to 3/5. I think if Mon Dessert changes the couriers they work with and most importantly provide quick, professional, and helpful customer service in the future, I could definitely recommend them as the product itself is great but so far the support is lacking to say the least.

DIRECT REPLY TO MON DESSERT: Although I'm not *Robert* (not sure where you get that name), I indeed received the parcel. Blaming Royal Mail is unfair in my opinion, because 1. they were able to deliver me quite a few packages virtually on time despite all the strikes before Christmas, and 2. you did not send my parcel via them, but you chose Parcel2GO and they are the ones who lost the package in the end. (On a slightly unrelated note, I have horrible experience with them from the past, so I would suggest to use some other services for reliability.) My main problem was and still is communication or the lack thereof. As I said previously, I would've been very, very understanding of the situation if it would've been communicated and handled properly and that is something completely unrelated to strikes and other circumstances.

PREVIOUSLY:
It is one thing that the Christmas present I ordered 12 days ago has not yet been arrived (I can imagine things are busy this time of the year and all the strikes don't help either -- even though every other company managed to deliver all the goods I ordered regardless of the situation) but the fact alone that I wrote emails to them, every other day since the delivery window had been missed, quite literally begging for help, and they couldn't even bother to get back to me to at least reassure me that they are aware of the problem and they are working on some kind of solution is OUTRAGEOUS and DISGUSTING and I haven't seen this level of INCOMPETENCE in any other company before. And they dare to say they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Dear Mon Dessert, the service and support you provide is around 0%.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Avoid this company at all costs. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY

Ordered as a gift and stated on website it would arrive in 48hours 5 days later no gift so I chased up the company who told me it would be atleast another 8 days, I needed it for the 17th so asked for a refund they were reluctant to give and suggested using a different box which I said was fine as long as it was here by the 17th. They repeatedly assured me that it would be delivered without fail before the 17th. Shock not delivered no emails from the company. It’s been extremely poor service from start to finish and I have been blatantly lied on multiple occasions. Avoid this company!

Firstly I would like to apologise for the postage delays. We have had many customers have the same issue and we have been in the same boat. With the Royal Mail strikes continuing over Christmas we switched to ship with Ervi. We found Ervi like many other couriers was also experiencing extremely high traffic as it was moved from Royal Mail to themselves and other companies. Because of this orders continued to be delayed and it is my sincerest apologies that we could not keep our word that your order would have been there by the 17th.

Once again we are so terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused. We hope you have an amazing Christmas and we hope to see you in the new year when things have calmed down with the couriers.

No Delivery

Still waiting over a week later from when my order was allegedly sent. No way to track the item as Mon Dessert use the cheapest possible option to post,
I have ordered other items from different companies since the order with Mon dessert and got my items in less than 36hrs!!! If I ever do receive the items ordered I will not recommend or use this shoddy company again which is a shame as their products look great on the website.

I have not received the item yet

I have not received the item yet. As I wished to forward to my sister in Kent, I asked last week what had happened to the delivery. As it was delayed because of supply issues I also requested that it be sent directly to my sister's address. I have just used the tracking for the courier Parcel2GO.com and they don't have confirmation of receipt of the parcel. I am not happy.

Ordered 20 Nov...all items arrived 23 Dec

Ordered and paid for items on 20/11 a dessert kit and a seperate dessert item. Was excited to receive items and cook for friends graduation celebration meal.
I understand there was a post strike on 24 and 25 Nov - maybe Mon Dessert should have anticipated this and sent items with another courier.
I am still awaiting my items. (today is 29/11)

There has been no customer service emails apologising for delay or saying when my items are likely to arrive
Disappointed.

I've contacted Mon Dessert several times. Who have said the will send me a 3 month subscription to make up for the delayed items.

However as yet the original items have yet to arrive.

The date has also passed Mon Dessert asked me to wait until.

The date has also passed that I purchased the items for - a friend's graduation.

Gutted - was really looking forward to these items.

When Mon Dessert did reply to my emails they used the Royal Mail strikes as an excuse - are their not any other delivery companies in UK??

If/when the original items do turn up I wonder what sort of condition they will be in.

Avoid this company.

I've had to email once a week to chase up. Not one email from them first. Awful way to treat customers.

P.s. MonDessert you knew about the Royal Mail strikes - contingency plans should have been made. Stop using those strikes as an excuse for your atrocious customer service /delivery.

All my items turned up 23/12.
Sealed in plastic white Evri bag and then in Mon boxes.

What I originally ordered as a treat has turned into a farce . It would take a lot for me to recommend this company to anyone.

They even asked me to remove my review but in lines of honesty I'm leaving it as it is.

Mon Dessert say they are a small business which as such they need to work harder at communication, customer service and delivery.

The English public love small businesses and want to support them but not when they over promise and under deliver.

Expired best by date.

Update.

I finally received my order today, 28 December. Ordered way back in November.

Food items were past their best by date, so far from satisfied.

Needless to say, I won't be ordering again.

Great Dessert Kits

An excellent way to learn new skills or make something new for dessert. Makes a nice gift or even just a way to pick up a new talent.

Extremely helpful support team were quick and very willing to assist and resolve any issues.
