In general, very easy - both pick up and also drop off, especially now with no need for printing labels etc. BUT - if the box doesn't open, or you need assistance by telephone, the service is poor.

They change delivery points without reason

I used to like Mondial Relay, as there are many relay points within a few blocks of my home in the center of Lyon. However, the last few times I have received a package from them, they have unilatrally decided it is “best” to deliver the package to a point far from my home. The latest package was delivered 8km from my home — which would take me more than an hour to travel to retrieve — even though there are literally doxens of relay points that are closer to me. This is simply not providing the delivery service that I contracted for.

What a terrible service!!

What a terrible service!!! I send a very big package from NL to Poland. At least 60cm x 40cm. And it gets “lost”. As I see this happens quite frequently. Also their customer service number in NL is from a different company so you can’t complain. First and last time to ever use this service. And it took them more than 2 months to “investigate” and come back to me.

Reliable and efficient

Never had a problem with any shipments.

Good communication, fast delivery, no issues with lockers. Shipping fees are tolerable.

So far so good !

Lost parcel with no explanation and complete lack of transparency

I shipped an international parcel weighing 15 kg and worth approximately €700, from Portugal to the Netherlands, via InPost/Mondial Relay. The tracking worked normally until the parcel entered the Netherlands. The last update stated it was “on its way to the final destination”. After that, it disappeared without any explanation.
It is simply incomprehensible how a parcel of this size and weight can vanish within a logistics network without the company being able to indicate its last physical location, where the process failed, or even a probable cause. This is not an envelope or a small package...it is a large, heavy shipment that cannot just “go missing”.
For more than a month, I contacted customer service repeatedly. I received only generic responses, with no concrete information, no transparency, and no sense of responsibility.
To make matters worse, today I discovered that the “investigation” has been closed and the proposed compensation is €25. They lost a large, valuable parcel, provided no explanation, and then offered a compensation amount that is almost insulting.
What is even more concerning is that, while researching online, I found multiple complaints from other customers with almost identical situations. Parcels disappearing without explanation and investigations that clarify nothing. This clearly indicates a pattern that should worry any consumer.
My trust in InPost/Mondial Relay is completely gone.
I will not use this service again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Very slow

Very slow! It's affecting my business!
They should improve their services. Imagine sending a package from Antwerpen to Brussels took over a week? and until now still no update! Are you kidding me? DPD courier takes maximum 3 days within Belgium.

Absolutely terrible experience with Mondial Relay

I sent 4 parcels from Lille to Berlin. Three arrived correctly without any issue because they were shipped through a normal pickup point inside a butcher shop with labels already attached.
The fourth parcel completely disappeared. This was the only parcel sent through one of their locker machines where parcels can apparently be deposited without labels because "the courier will attach the label later".
Never use their locker system for shipping parcels.
My missing parcel was a large 13.5 kg box measuring about 60 x 40 x 30 cm and containing expensive personal clothes.
Instead of my parcel, I received a tiny package in my mailbox containing somebody else's underwear with an old Vinted label still attached.
What makes this situation absurd is that the shipping information clearly indicated a weight of 13.5 kg. Apparently nobody in their logistics chain noticed that a tiny underwear package obviously does not weigh 13.5 kg.
So either:
- their employees are completely incompetent and attach labels without checking anything,
- or there is a serious internal theft problem where parcels are swapped and later declared "lost".
After weeks of messages, photos, explanations and evidence, the company simply declared the parcel lost and offered a standard reimbursement according to their terms and conditions.
At this point I would strongly advise people not to send expensive clothes, valuable items or personal belongings through this company, especially through their locker system.
Something is seriously wrong with the way parcels are handled there.

J ai envoye 4 colis de Lille vers Berlin. Trois sont arrives correctement sans aucun probleme parce qu ils ont ete envoyes via un point relais classique dans une boucherie avec les etiquettes deja collees.
Le quatrieme colis a totalement disparu. C etait le seul colis depose dans une consigne automatique ou il est apparemment possible de deposer un colis sans etiquette parce que "le chauffeur collera l etiquette plus tard".
N utilisez jamais leurs consignes automatiques (lockers) pour envoyer des colis.
Mon colis disparu etait un grand carton de 13 5 kg mesurant environ 60 x 40 x 30 cm contenant des vetements personnels et des articles de valeur.
A la place de mon colis j ai recu un minuscule paquet dans ma boite aux lettres contenant les sous vetements d une autre personne avec une ancienne etiquette Vinted encore collee dessus.
Le plus absurde dans cette histoire est que les informations d expedition indiquaient clairement un poids de 13 5 kg. Apparemment personne dans leur chaine logistique n a remarque qu un petit paquet contenant des sous vetements ne peut evidemment pas peser 13 5 kg.
Donc soit :
- leurs employes sont totalement incompetents et collent des etiquettes sans rien verifier,
- soit il existe un grave probleme de vols internes avec des colis remplaces puis declares "perdus".
Apres des semaines de messages de photos d explications et de preuves la societe a simplement declare le colis perdu et propose un remboursement standard selon leurs conditions generales.
A ce stade je conseille fortement de ne jamais envoyer de vetements chers d objets de valeur ou d effets personnels avec cette entreprise surtout via leurs consignes automatiques.
Il y a clairement un grave probleme dans leur facon de gerer les colis.

I do not recommend using Mondial Relay.

My experience with this courier has been consistently negative. Parcels are repeatedly redirected to different pickup points without proper prior notice or any real choice given to the customer. In my case, this has already happened several times this year.

The main problem is not only the redirection itself, but the way the issue is handled. Instead of offering a practical solution, the company simply informs the customer after the fact. Customer service does not provide effective help, and the same situation continues to repeat.

This creates unnecessary stress, wasted time, and financial loss for the customer. A delivery service should be reliable, transparent, and able to resolve problems when they occur. Based on my repeated experience, Mondial Relay fails to meet that standard.

For these reasons, I would strongly advise other buyers and sellers to avoid Mondial Relay where possible and choose a more reliable courier.
