No communication

No communication, I have repeatedly tried to find out my account number so I can, in due course, transfer out an ISA.
I have tried by email and by chat service without any response whatsoever.
It begins to look like the only way out is in cash which would loose the ISA status of course.
The account was started by a transfer in but clearly I won't be transferring any more of my ISAs to them if it is a one-way process.

Another marketing email received. Have "unsubscribed from all emails" do not trust these cowboys.

Update 1/10/2025:

Another day another marketing email from Moneyfarm. I closed my account in 2020 and hadn't heard from them since. Then completely unwanted and unprompted I started receiving marketing emails from you in August this year. Since then I have received 8 marketing emails, despite unsubscribing from all marketing emails on multiple occasions. I followed the link at the bottom of the page "unsubscribe from all".

I shouldn't have to call a helpline to do something as basic as this. If you can't competently manage your marketing emails, it gives me zero confidence about your ability to manage my finances.

Original review:

Be very careful about giving them your email address as they'll bombard you with marketing emails and completely disregard your mailbox preferences. I've lost count of the time I've opted out of their emails. Please please STOP CONTACTING ME.

I like everything about Monyfarm

I like everything about Monyfarm. Great website (easy to navigate and understand content)and good/excellent returns on funds.

A relatively recent change to website up baffled me. But email to advisor and quick clear response sorted it out. And receptive to my suggestions for improved wording.

Poor customer service

I requested a change of my email from my MF account and would like to use new email address to login.
I submitted my request in August. Over 7 weeks now, I still unable to use my new email address to login and access my account. Despite I have submitted a formal complaint. No confidence of MF in managing my money and will close my account once I have access my account.

Modern and accessible investment

I've been with Moneyfarm for around 8 years now and am more than happy with our time together. Their overall approach is modern, fresh, and quite interactive. Investors conduct regular online checks to confirm their money is invested at the right risk level, and the website and App provide an excellent overview of performance. Of course investments are all about 'returns' and in that respect Moneyfarm compares very favourably from my perspective and I'm reassured that if I ever wanted to speak to someone they're just a phone call away.

3 months in, all great!

I’ve used Moneyfarm for a stocks and shares ISA for 3 months now. I chose them after thorough research because of their performance, reviews, fees and being a B Corp. Their customer service is very good, the app works well, I feel I get the information I need and my investment so far has performed well too.

QUALITY OF SERVICE

Moneyfarm is great

Moneyfarm is great. Right from the first contact I have had confidence in them.
The original questionnaire assesses your risk factor then leave it to them to invest your money.
You can have as much or as little involvement as you like. I've just left it to them and they have already made me over £600 profit on my £6000 investment over 4 months giving an average interest of 11.11%.
It's really easy to transfer money in. I've not tried taking money out yet but I'm.sure that will be equally easy.
My grandson has a Moneyfarm account and it's easy to transfer money to his account as gifts.
Also my son recommended this to me and we both get reduced fees for 6 months.
The App is a great way to check on your money on your phone and is easy to understand.
The communication via emails is just about right.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend Moneyfarm.

Happy and content

Engaged, positive, reliable, competent.

The company actually feels trustworthy (which is not necessarily particularly a common feature in the industry...!) and sensible.

Provide a good amount of interesting and relevant information, without being pushy or trying to constantly up-sell etc.

The fees seem very reasonable and the ISAs I put in appear to be very well managed.

I am glad I found them and would recommend.

An honest review from a self employed tradesman

I’ve seen a gradual increase over the past 2 years that I’ve invested in a managed portfolio with a 11% return this year.
I’m a self employed joiner and see this as a great opportunity to top up a pension in the future .
I’m taking the long term view that they’ll be ups and downs which was evident when Trump announced his global tariff increase which in turn created a dip in my investment. However, having seen past evidence of dips I decided to invest more at this point to buy at a cheaper rate which most investors advise is a good time to top up if possible.
Fortunately this has increased my profit by double what it was before the tariff issues now things have settled .
There’s always someone to call or email if you’ve got any questions and they are always very responsive and informative.
I’m between the 6-7 risk range which is probably why the return is higher but I’m in for the long haul so hopefully it works in my favour .
Hopefully in the long term with compounding I’ll be able to throw my hammer in the bin and enjoy my retirement.
