I was in Monki today at the Glasgow…

I was in Monki today at the Glasgow store just casually browsing through the clothes, I was browsing like 2 and a half meters away from the exit doors and security comes up to me and says “no no no I don’t think so” I look at him and ask what do you mean and he says “oh I thought you were going to walk out with these stuff” idk I felt like as soon as I came in this guard had his eyes on me and kept following me. Didn’t feel like I had any privacy to browse through the clothes in peace.

Still waiting for my order weeks later!

Ordered weeks ago! Order hasn't arrived. Customer service can only tell me there has been a delay and can't give me an further indication as to when I should receive my order. Quick to take your money but then don't have any answers as to where it is! Customer service 'Eleni' was incredibly rude. Not impressed and won't purchase again.

Don't buy jeans from them

Don't buy jeans from them. I wear an EU size 32 and ordered 2 pairs of size 32 jeans. Apparently in Monki Land, their size 32 is an EU size 40 and I should have bought a 24? They appear to have their own BS sizing that doesn't correspond with any country.

Monki, WHAT is going on?!

I've shopped with Monki for a long time, but recently I've just had constant disappointment. Every single item I've ordered off them for the last 4-5 months has been so oddly sized it just beggars belief.

Leggings that won't even go over my calves, tops that are not advertised as oversized but would easily fit two of me inside with still more space, dresses that are SO short you can actually see my butt cheeks without bending over.

And then there's the quality - see-through, flimsy, badly cut, badly sewn pieces that just aren't worth the price tag.

Clearly they've got some product design and quality control issues, but they've also got delivery issues as the items I have ordered have taken weeks to arrive.

Please sort it out Monki, you used to be really good.

I've order coat from monki

I've order coat from monki, it took them 10 days to even posted it so I wait around 2 weeks to arrived but despite that the coat as was written on website suppose to be with 23% of wool but when i got it I find out on the tag that is 100% polyester. I felt really tricked by monki. They clearly lieing about description of the item. I emailed customer service but they still bulls*** me that the coat have 23%. Well somehow it doesn't says that on the tag. For me its a fraud.
So customers! Please be aware of monki tricks.
Coats like that you can easily buy in primark much less that prices in monki and I would say the quality of product its exactly the same. So someone here trying to fool people on money. Be aware!

I used to love Monki

I used to love Monki. I have a pair of Taiki jeans I've had for YEARS that fit so comfortably. I recently did another order for more jeans. I'm 5ft 11inches, and the Taiki (straight leg high waist) x-long jeans I currently have were a perfect length. I could roll up the legs with ankle boots or wear them as is with trainers. Effortless to style.

The two jeans I ordered are waaay off in sizing. The Yoko tall (a wide leg high waist) was too tight on the hips and baggy on the waist. A strange combination. Legs were fine. The Kimomo tall jeans were too tight on the legs and the crotch, but also bizarrely loose on the waist. Not sure what body these were designed to fit, but it definitely isn't mine. Leg length for a tall fit on the Kimomo was also too small.

The other items I bought were wild card purchases from their Archive sale. The belt was plastic-y and looked very cheap, like it was from SHEIN. The crepe dress looked really bad. Just looked very very cheap. The skirt I ordered really made me laugh. I'm always a medium size, 30" waist. This skirt would not fit at all because it was too big. It's a size medium.

Just lol. I don't know what happened but Monki's not the same. The focus of the website is now on showing loads of influencers and quirky style fits, and this mirrors the quality of the garments in my honest opinion. The garments look amazing in photos and on the same skinny influencer girl, but it doesn't feel good or in any way sit comfortably on my body.

I used to go to Monki first before any other brands, but they don't have any true to size garments for tall girls. It's a no from me. 2 stars because to be fair, I did order three items as a wild card to see if it'd look good on me.

Manipulative and Untrustworthy

I used to love Monki, the undergarment sizes fit much more seamlessly than from any other store.
But their customer service sucks. They're manipulative and untrustworthy. I was told I cant exchange my item for another size, then after asking multiple times the same person changed her mind and said there is a way if she sends me a free shipping code for the repurchase (after the return and refund of the wrong size). The code does not work. Another customer service employee tells me to place the order ANYWAY and trust her to only charge minus the shipping fee.
Unprofessional isnt even the right word to describe this, its sketchy and scammy and a waste of my time. I called these people twice today, twice theyve tried to fool me.

Letdown long-time shopper

As a long-time shopper with Monki, I'm really disappointed with my latest experience with them and will probably not order again. I recently placed an order, and my address autofilled to my old flat (completely my fault for not double-checking).

I noticed this immediately and messaged and emailed Monki about five minutes later to either update the address or cancel the order. I received a message back the following day saying as it was outside of the 'grace period' there was nothing they could do, despite me immediately messaging. They advised that I could contact Evri and ask them to change the address, but Evri have zero ways of getting in touch and their website states you have to ask the sender. The order remained in the warehouse for several days before being dispatched to Evri, so you would think they would have some function to amend or cancel if it's not even with the courier yet.

Really offputting experience.

Sizing extremely confusing

I've ordered from Monki twice now, and both times the sizing has been all off.

Not only is the size guide on their website extremely confusing, but a "small" blouse was MASSIVE (and no, it wasn't meant to be oversized).

I ordered a 32 trouser and a 32 jeans - turns out one was 32 waist and the other was 32 EU (which is something like 24 inch waist). This could have been made clearer on the site.

I haven't had any problems with returning items, but when I've reached out via their customer service email address, the emails have bounced - so there's no way of getting in touch.

I don't think I'll shop here again as it's just too much hassle.

Super happy with clothes and delivery

I ordered a blazer and matching wide leg trousers after having a look at videos on Instagram. After looking at the reviews on Trust Pilot I did get a bit skeptical. However the clothes arrived in very good time, 3/4 days and they always kept me updated with tracking details etc. The clothes are also sooo cute, the colour, material, quality, sizing, everything was perfect. I’m super happy with my purchase. I will say I haven’t tried to return anything before so not sure how customer service is. But overall I’m so happy with my purchase, would definitely order from Monki again.

Double charged and no refund

Awful customer service. I wanted to order something and the first order failed because of the payment error through iDeal. However, I was successfully charged on my bank account. I tried placing the order again and the second time it worked just fine, but I was still left with a double charge of the same order.

I've been trying to contact support for days and they'll tell me they won't do any refund for the failed order because it doesn't appear in their system. I did provide them bank statements and screenshots from the app, but they keep ignoring me. Never ordering online ever again.

Impressed with their bras

I have never shopped with Monki before and wasn't really expecting much. I have bought or been gifted bralettes in the past that have either been ill fitting or bad quality, and when looking to buy some more i had been looking in websites that are very expensive (in my opinion). So I didnt expect much when placing my order for 5 sale bralettes.

I am so impressed!

The quality is lovely. I like the detail of the clasp having slightly longer material to cover the eyelets and I love the stretch. I also like the fact that as someone with a modest bust, but a broad back, that I didn't have to buy in a size XL as so many brands like to call a size 12 to 14 these days. So thank you for the morale boost too!

Dumbest customer support ever

I ordered two bras listed as 100% cotton. One was not and the other one didn't even have the tag on. I sent the parcel back through their own service and asked for a refund. I sent the evidence of the payment along with the order number but they play dumb as if they couldn't match it with my account.

Result? I paid for something that was not what I ordered, I sent it back but they kept the money.

Always happy with the service & clothing

Always happy with the items, but recently had to return some shoes which didn't fit properly. I was on holiday and didn't see the refund or notification of return through so I chased via email and they got back to in less than 24 hours with both an email and phone call to confirm the refund which came through. Quality customer service!
