The children really enjoy the characters and it supports them to recognise the sounds, particularly sounds in which there are alternative spellings.
The songs are fun and the customer service is excellent.
The website is undergoing improvements in the layout, which look fantastic!

I found the parent webinar very informative and a great way of finding out more detail of this phonics scheme used by our school. It was full of handy hints and tips and provided details of how monster phonics has developed lots of supportive online materials which we can access. Thanks for offering these webinars for parents!

Our reception children absolutely love the monsters and are so confident in finding the sounds that they make in words because of how familiar they are with them.

My sons school have just started using Monster Phonics - it's a great scheme and although he is a reluctant reader he is much more willing to engage in Monster Phonics than any of the previous phonics work, I am looking forward to see him progress!

As a Key Stage 2 teacher I am not a confident phonics teacher. I have found the monster phonics to be simple to use and engaging with even the older pupils. We are using them as part of an effective Year 4 intervention session.

Excellent helps kids a lot to learn and have fun

Monster Phonics is an amazing synthetic systematic phonics programme. It allows children to learn how to read and spell through a multi sensory approach. The colour coded graphemes are a wonderful way for children to memorise phonemes and accurately spell them. Children love the monsters who have their own personalities and jingles! Well done!!

I am using the program to bridge gaps in lower KS2. Having introduced the monsters and used one of the songs the children are all loving it. Even asking for the song on during their reward time.

The children have enthusiatically engaged with the scheme. They love listening to the songs and watching the videos. The colour coding of the monsters and corresponding letters has already helped with the children's progress

I’ve seen my children grow in confidence with their reading because of this scheme. It’s not only a supportive scheme for children but also for schools. They have delivered some excellent webinars during lockdown and have continued to train our staff with online INSETs. Our children love the monsters and therefore love reading.

The children are already understanding the characters, actions and sounds independently. The actions and colours make it interactive and I feel that this will start to make a BIG impact in their independent reading and writing.

This phonics scheme is a breath of fresh air. It is a truely multi sensory resource. It combines planning, resources, training, parent webinars and access all in one place. It covers DFE Letters and Sounds and improves results. It's easy to use and I would recommend this to anyone.

Monster phonics is amazing !!! the children love the colour coding, the monsters and all the songs and stories that go along with each monster character.
All the planning and powerpoints are there for you to use, so no need to send hours making up your own.

Making phonics fun again! Monster Phonics has certainly reignited my passion for phonics. It has transformed the way my 5 year old views phonics sessions and the colour coding aids his understanding of the different letter-sounds. The monsters provide a brilliant context for learning which is memorable and above all fun!
