Montana hudson

I received a wanderer duffel bag from montana Hudson. It stunk of a musty smell it was unusable. Not sure if they have sprayed it in something or left it in a warehouse.

Montana Hudson is a SCAM

Montana Hudson is a SCAM. BUYER BEWARE. Bought an Eva tote that included a free wallet. They shipped it from India to NC in a FedEx bag. Since the tote wasn't packaged properly, it was damaged in transit. Pure negligence on the part of Montana Hudson.

The bag itself is a joke. It's not "vintage brown" as described. Rather, it's orange and cheap. The wallet is cheap and of especially poor quality.

I requested to return it immediately. I was finally granted an RMA after a bunch of back and forth, but Montana Hudson expected me to pay return shipping on their defective AND damaged item.

Further, their return policy is a joke. Montana Hudson maintains 100% control over refunds, even on damaged/defective items.

Montana Hudson is a SCAM. BUYER BEWARE. Review the return policy, almost every product on their website has 5 stars, they don't take PayPal and other pay sites that protect consumers, and there are TONS of similar complaints placed with the BBB, Attorney General, and various scam alert websites. I learned my lesson the hard way, so I hope this review helps expose the SCAM.

Ordered and received in just a few days (international shipping).
The tote is just as described and very high quality. I bought this as a present for myself and it's beautiful. Service was top-notch. I will defiantly purchase from them in the future.

I bought one of your leather 18" laptop…

I bought one of your leather 18" laptop bags for my husband for his birthday. I searched a lot of companies and product before decided on your bag. I am so happy with this bag!!! Leather is amazing quality and my husband is so thrilled with it!! It is a sexy, masculine bag and will last a lifetime!! Shipping was spot on! No support to help with my orders

I have twice made an order for the same item, a leather duffel bag. The first time was several months back, order number order MH61296, and the more recent one was MH69063. In both cases after the payment was processed I got messages from "support" that despite the product being advertised for worldwide sale, they said the shipper (DHL or FEDEX) could not send it to Saudi Arabia the country, nor could it be delivered to the address in Saudi Arabia - an international compound with more than 200 residents many of whom regularly receive DHL and FEDEX consignments. After the first order, following my queries. I received feedback from "support" informing me of Customs department issues, and saying that these were being resolved. This was in May and June 2021. Following my recent order and despite at least three emails to "support" I have received no response from this department. I continue to get bombarded at my email with more offers and promotions.

Hi John, we apologize that you did not receive both orders. There are some countries we are not able to service due to high duty fees in that country. Unfortunately, your country is one of them. Your orders were not fulfilled and we processed refunds for both orders. You should have received an email from us notifying you of the high duty fees in your country and that your refund was processed. Please know that sometimes we are not aware of these fees until our Shipping Department is notified by the courier during the process of fulfilling your order. Our website has now been updated to recognize the countries we cannot service due to this. It's a company's business decision whether they'll accept these high fees. Our company, unfortunately, does not. We hope you understand and appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

I was so excited to find a beautiful…

I was so excited to find a beautiful leather tote. I ordered it on Nov. 22. I tracked it through Fed Ex. It arrived in Memphis and has now been there for 15 days. I got a response from the support email that they would look into my problem, but never heard back from them. Emailed again today and nothing. I am very disappointed.

Low quality and poor customer service

I ordered two purses in two different colors. The color that came was not what was ordered, the size width is off as well, and the quality of leather is low.

I tried to reach out over three times to their support to start a return. I didn’t realize it would be so difficult. Not one have they responded and I suspect they are trying to ride out their 30 days window. Ordered their product on 11/17 and today’s date is 12/14.

Worst company took pictures of the bag…

Worst company took pictures of the bag that I received which is not leather and did not look like the bag online. They offered only. 15% refund and did not apologise for the poor quality bag. I asked for a new bag sent pictures of the receipt that said only 40 dollars instead of the 180 I originally paid for it and still no response. Do not purchase from them

There are so many different variations of leather and our products vary in leather type. We always suggest to our customers that you can take our bag to a leather maker to see if it's real leather. It's always a good way to ease your concerns. We see that you ordered our Lucy Tote. The leather on that is a smooth, shiny, stiff type of leather. It's always hard to tell through photos but the bag you received is the same bag on our website. We reviewed your account and only saw one message from you which you submitted through our Contact Us form on our website. You stated you've sent us a few messages but we have only received one message from you which we did respond to. We never received a response back from you. Our customer support team was offering to get you a replacement, however, the replacement you receive will be the same bag you received. Excellent product and customer service

Excellent product, finest leather bag I've ever purchased. It was on my doorstep in 9 days coming across the pond! I received a response to every email question I sent in a very timely fashion. When I got the bag I did not notice a strap that I saw in the picture and I emailed them asking them for the strap and they immediately answered telling me it was stitched into the front zipper pocket. EXCELLENT customer service, EXCELLENT product. I will definitely order from us company again when I have the need. Thank you Montana Hudson!

Damaged tote

I received a damaged tote bag and have been given a run around for over a month by customer service. I was told that they would send a replacement but no word. I will never buy from this shady company again.

Above my expectations!

I just received my bags from Montana Hudson. They are above and beyond my expectations! Despite the current postal nightmare it arrived within 2 weeks. Customs forms were attached so I could see where my bags originated. The purse and large messenger bag are just beautiful and the leather is quite thick. I'm very happy and will order a backpack to match the purse! Overall 5 stars for shipping and quality product!

Worst Quality

Unfortunately, I read the reviews after I made my purchase. Terrible quality. Does not look like the one I thought I was purchasing.
Horrible chemical smell. When I compalined they asked me to take photos and pay to return the crappy item to them before they'll refund. I paid $180.00 for something I wouldn't pay $10.00 for. Very unhappy. Should be on a consumer warning list.

I would not buy from this company

I would not buy from this company. They make returning an item purchased very difficult. First they don’t sent you a shipping label so plan on paying a hefty shipping cost they you have to take pictures of your item
Purchased from every angle and submit that before you receive a return address. Then they charge you a 20.00 restocking fee. I had to email them 3 times before they finally refunded me, I had to threaten to stop payment on my card. Save yourself this hassle and do not buy from this company!

No way to return the item and no contact #!…

Attempted to purchase a messenger bag from this company. It arrived with a badly damaged bag, very flat, and with a horrible odor.(assumed there would be some odor as this is a supposed leather product, but this was outrageous). Regarding the packing when shipped, an item this expensive should have been mailed in a box, or at least with some bubble wrap, the damage to the package included a whole the size of a bracelet. (you could see the bag inside.) The bag itself was so flat, It measured about 1.5 inches laying on its side. 2nd issue, a tip was automatically added to the bill, one that I did not authorize. 3rd issue, I have now contacted customer service over 7 times to advise that I was not satisfied with the purchase and requested a refund, they have not responded with a return slip, only a return email saying they will send another bag. This is ridiculous. I have sent pictures and answered all their questions to return the item with no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Love my new Montana Hudson Tote

I recently purchased the Vintage Eva Leather Zip Tote from Montana Hudson, it arrived within the anticipated timeframe and I am so happy with this purchase. It is a quality bag with all the room and functionalities I need for carrying around and organizing work and personal items. I know I will have this bag for years to come and would recommend it to everyone!

I purchased a Dixie Leather Saddlebag…

I purchased a Dixie Leather Saddlebag for my wife nearly a year ago. She loved the purse from the moment she saw it. It is a great quality and very well designed for functionality. We had a small problem with a buckle so I contacted customer service. They had a process which was easily navigated. They replaced the product and were very communicative and attentive throughout. My wife loves the purse and I am more than happy with the customer care provided. I will be buying from Montana Hudson in the future. I highly recommend this company and their products.

Ordered a bag from what appeared to be…

Ordered a bag from what appeared to be an American company with an inference that the product was American made hand crafted in California. Utter bull the product is made in and and shipped from India, probably not a legally inference but a con nonetheless.
I could have bought Indian far cheaper from a local market stall. Steer clear of fake goods.
