The price was good

The price was good, the product is as expected. Only i bought it on the german language site and all the communication after sales(like login site, status e-mails) was completely in Danish. I think when you operate in other languages, you must do that to the full extent.

Beautiful table, but buyer beware on the delivery methods!

Great customer service, item arrived when they said they would and the marble table I ordered is beautiful! My one piece of feedback would be the delivery method used for this particular piece. The table is 82kg (with packaging it was 130kg according to the delivery guy). It came on a palette, which was left behind and my responsibility to unpack and discard. I think items of this size and weight should be white glove delivery, where they bring it inside, unpack and remove trash (would happily pay more for that). Supposedly (according to the delivery guy) this was a curbside delivery (which I don't remember selecting that option or being given any option) - regardless, this should NEVER be an option for a piece this heavy. Fortunately the driver at least brought it inside for me. So all in all not the best delivery method. But the customer service and table itself are great!

”cheap” shipment costs as promoted turn out to be very expensive

Moodings make promotion on the website of a “cheap shipment to France” but in the end, for a simple item it’s 13.95€ of shipment cost alone, this is an “expensive” shipment to my opinion !
They should offer several rates or stop to make a fake announcement. Too bad, I was ready to order but not anymore for this shipment cost…

Ordered 6 chairs that would arrive in…

Ordered 6 chairs that would arrive in week 35, emailed them today in week 34 and got a response that they’ll take another 6 (!!!) weeks instead of the original 4, and arrive in week 41. You would think a decent company informs their customers about something like this. Of course the culprit is the global pandemic, a convenient scapegoat rather than giving good service and actually delivering the furniture you’ve taken our money for 4 weeks ago. Stay away from moodings!!

We are still experiencing delays due to Covid-19, but we are working to get the chairs to you as soon as possible.
We have an expected delivery time which unfortunately occasionally can be postponed. This may be due to delays at the supplier, at their manufacturers, etc., which we can't always predict.
In addition, we are allowed to withdraw the money as soon as the order has been processed, so it is a normal procedure for our foreign customers.

endless waiting, calling back and forth, chaos

Bought a couch, lamps, rugs, shelves, kitchen ware, etc. in January with a credit. Some of the items had 8-9 weeks delivery time. The smaller items did arrive within that time, but for the remainder, the process of receiving them was the following:

- calling once or twice a week asking for the expected delivery date for the rest of the items. The new dates given were seldom respected. When they were, there was always an item missing.
- moodings did not call me, I had to call again and again myself, and although moodings always asked for apologies, nothing improved. The excuse was always corona and lack of communication between the employees.
- It took 6 months to finally receive all items.
- I ended up cancelling one of the items before receiving it. It took 1 month before they informed the credit entity of my cancellation.
- I returned three items after having received them. I had to pay in advance for them to pick the items from my apartment. The pick up driver didn't show up. No call from moodings explaining why they didn't show up. I had to call moodings myself. They had no idea I had payed for it. They rebooked. I can't remember if they failed again with the second date. After taking the items, they had no information the items were taken from my apartment. It is worth mentioning everytime moodings would say "we will investigate and call you afterwards", it never happened. I had to always call back, and when I did, the customer service had no idea what I was talking about, and it would start all over again, except for a few times some employees left a note on an internal customer chat moodings has. When they finally found the items, they didn't inform the credit entity. Calling back and forth the credit entity and moodings. Moodings informs of the returned items but forgets to inform of the value of the returned items. Calling back and forth the credit entity and moodings. Moodings informs of the value of the returned items. I was told today I have to wait 4-6 weeks for the refund of the items I returned 3 months ago.

And there are more things to complain about that I just forget apparently. Awful experience. Never to repeat again. My comment to moodings is:

- improve on your infrastructure and organization.
- your customer service is very nice, polite and incompetent.
- be proactive in caring for your customers.

My comment to customers is:

- there are plenty of other online shops to buy from.

I wish I could be less exasperated on my review, but moodings persistent lack of engagement for 6 months is horribly reproachable. Having read other reviews, I only wish I had consulted with trustpilot before.

Really bad service

Really bad service. I ordered a table from them and they said it will take 6-8 weeks to get it. It took more than 14 weeks and we didn’t even get it by then! Because they couldn’t find the table they said. And I had to contact them all the time. They said they will call us back but they never did! Then I took my money back from them and went to Rum21 and bought the table there instead. It took 2 weeks and we revived the table! Even if the table was little bit more expensive from Rum21 I would rather by there from now on then buying from Moodings ever again

The only drawback is that all communication is sent in Danish, while I’m shopping from The Netherlands. English would be great.
