Not good after sale service

Initial sale was great when I purchased my Super Monkey. From then on though the after sale customer service has been terrible and I won’t deal with them again. I’ve contacted them on 2 separate occasions, first time the rear brakes weren’t working and was told to take it to a local bike shop. Local bike shop wouldn’t touch it so got a friend to do it. Second and more recently, there was no power to the bike. Agreed to drop the bike off but was never given a day or time. Then he said he’d collect it but didn’t turn up. Eventually I went directly through Synch and they are paying to collect my bike. Two months later and it’s still not fixed. Not good customer service, very disappointing.

We are very sorry that you had a bad experience, sometimes when we do not hear from customers, they have fixed the issue themselves or have discovered they may have overlooked something simple.

In honesty however we did forget about you during our busiest time and we also had internally the colleague off sick with Covid too at that time, so it is with regret that we acknowledge our failing & can only apologise now.

When Synch contacted I was genuinely surprised as we do our very best to look after each & every customer, also we simply do not have customers reporting faults with their Super Monkeys, I mean none at all, as each bike is literally ridden around the block & tested & tweaked anywhere if required (unlike any other ebike in UK which is supplied in box with wheel/s off ) & is delivered complete ready to ride.

I said to Synch that if you had called us up again we would have answered & done our best to address the fault ASAP, between myself & my colleague you were forgotten temporarily & I am very sorry.

Once we heard from Synch that you had the problem (still) we did call you & I personally offered to call round - pick up the battery from you ( as we believed it was simply an internal fuse that may have blown ) so we could take the battery to our technician for him to replace the fuse for you or fix resolve the problem. It was then your choice of course to only deal then direct with Synch. Anyway I certainly hope that the fault is fixed, I am sure that the Synch team has or will resolve this problem for you & I can only apologise again for your bad experience with Moor EBikes.

We are human & make mistakes, so now we have put measures in place to ensure all support call/requests are ticketed with a ticket No and so now we will proactively follow up all tickets, (as best we can make contact with people) to ensure nobody else feels left or ignored as you have experienced. Please let us know if you need any parts for your Synch – Super Monkey as we would be happy to offer you a discount or free new parts like tyres/brake pads to compensate you for feeling ignored as this was never our intention.

Upgrade to Synch Monkey bikes

Having been looking to upgrade our traditional electric bikes for a while I came across British made Synch money bikes. Obviously wanting to test ride one, my nearest stockiest was Moor E-bikes just up the road near Manchester. The owner Tynan met myself and my wife at his showroom, at a convenient time to us and had the full range to look at with a demonstration bike we could try. The quality of the bikes themselves is second to none and nothing was too much trouble for Tynan. After a couple of hours and with no pressure we went away to have a think. On deciding we would like to go for a 250 Super Monkey and a 250 Mini Monkey, online ordering couldn’t have been easier. With delivery on the day we chose, we were delighted to receive the bikes with no fuss and as good as it should be. The bikes have exceeded our expectations and would deal with Tynan and Moor E-bikes anytime. Thanks for all the help.

Outstanding customer service & great products :)

I bought the Yamee Fat Bear last year and this bike is absolutely brill- so powerful! Exactly what I needed. And the customer service is second to none. Tynan helped me before and after (including over a year after sale) happily and is very knowledgeable, which is great for quick easy fixes at home.

Brilliant service from ordering to…

Brilliant service from ordering to delivery no problems at all had to request recipe and guarantee but a minor error on my side really! I have already recommended you to someone who loved my bike so hope all goes well

Moor ebikes top quality customer service

From start to finish the service from Moor ebikes was excellent, ordered at 16.38 and it was hand delivered by noon next day, I live in an apartment on second floor, it was brought right into my apartment hall way by hand truck. I bought the Yamee fat bear, it was really well packed ( a real workout getting unpacked lol) full built so assembley took seconds, perfect condition, does exactly what it says on the tin, amazing bike. The one thing not listed on their website spec for the bike. Is the smile it will create on your face when you ride it. I have people in the street shouting “nice bike” as I zip by. I highly recommend Moor ebikes to anyone, old style handshake customer service in the digital age. 5 star, if your reading this and thinking should I, do it, you won’t regret it, I’m 51 with poor mobility and feel 15 again.

I haven’t had delivery of my bike yet…

I haven’t had delivery of my bike yet as it’s being registered, but so far they have been absolutely amazing to deal with. They sourced exactly the bike I wanted and were so helpful with everything so far. Really impressed

Mr Nice Ebikemoooor

My experience with this seller it’s been rollercoaster.
I looked at his website a rocket gt Ebike got in touch with owner and we had a chat that the bike was at price £1500, and it will be delivered at my address.
Few days later the DPD delivered the bike damaged of course I did return it back…
I did get my refund back..
A year later I called him again which was my mistake because I wanted the same bike and I made an offer because he said he’s got 2 the same Ebike I was looking for one Black and gold and other one Brown and gold, but he explained that is a little scratch on the bike I said ok and I asked it’s anywhere else… then I got a reply saying that I can’t see any other scratches…
And we arrange the delivery few days later he drop the bike to me… it was my fault I didn’t check the bike because I believed him when he says there is no other scratches when I looked at bike few screws where missing another screw found on the parking area I begged for more than 10days so he can send me the receipt but he was telling me tomorrow tomorrow, he was ignoring me when I was asked for the receipts, I saved every message and picture…
From my point of view this was in professional, this not the way you deal with customers… It’s not about the money
I will not blame him at all I would blame my self for believing him for everything he was saying…
This was good lessons for me…

We are very sorry you feel that you haven't been treated professionally, this isn't the impression we aim to give with our service, we feel it is a personalised service which I hope you agree with, being that, we delivered the bike to you in person driving some 140 miles at no charge. I'm sorry that you feel that there were additional scratches. I believe I described this ebike accurately to you at the time and sent pictures, I did not believe there to be any additional scratches/damage other than as we discussed pre-purchase hence the discount. We are definitely not in the business of giving the wrong impression regarding our bikes. We would rather you had contacted me to let me know you were not happy. This bike was sold to you at a massively reduced price you set and said you were happy with & I'm sorry that it took a little while to send you the receipt (this is our very busiest time) but I did not ignore you as you can see from our text conversations and maybe this had gone in your junk mail as you continued to say you hadn't received after we had sent it. Anyway thank you for letting us know how you feel as this will help us improve in the future and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Really happy with my new Fat Bear ebike

Really happy with my new Fat Bear ebike, its a monster and makes me want to go out biking at every opportunity. Tynan has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with, let me and my son have a test ride which was very re-assuring that they were a proper company and it was a proper bike. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company and the Fat Bear bike as a great piece of well built engineering. I'm just trying to convince her in doors to have one too then we can both go off and have some adventures.

Happy Fat Bear Owner

I had been waiting for several months, due to the pandemic for my bike to be in stock. As I had subscribed to the Moor Ebikes newsletter, I was emailed that the Fat Bears were now available and put in my order. I was surprised at how quickly the bike arrived. (Ordered Sunday night and arrived Thursday lunchtime.) The bike was incredibly well packaged and in good order. Moor Ebikes have impressed throughout this prolonged order and I would recommend them unreservedly.
