We ordered our bed in November, after a small issue with the headboard it was quickly rectified and replaced, Danny was very helpful with the customer service, I would recommend

I ordered a bed and the delivery was was a joke the back of the van was ram packed everything squashed nothing in order the guy was clinging over everything and re arranged all van just to get my bed out.the quality of the bed is nothing like what look like on pictures the head board doesn’t line up properly as it a split head board , the 2 side panels don’t align properly the slats don’t sit flush across inch cab from side panels so don’t sit properly, you can clearly see these beds are made in a back garden somewhere, I defiently would not recommend a bed from here, have a go at making one ya sen before buying one from here

DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!!
I ordered a Luxury bed with FREE delivered and assembled. Firstly, they rang me to say that if I didn't have the bed delivered by 11 April, I would not be able to have free assembly because they were ending their partnership with the company delivering and assembling their beds. After challenging this because my contract with them was with free delivery and it was up to them to arrange this, I was told it wasn't going to happen, so all they could offer was a full refund.
It turned out the same 'Wrecking Ball' Delivery person brought my bed on the 12.04.2025. He almost smashed 2 lights and almost took my television off the wall!
This was the FIRST BED! It had a tear in the side panel, so I reported it and asked for a replacement. This took a further week, during which time I had to sleep on the floor at 61 years of age!!
The SECOND BED arrived - 18.04.2025. The Delivery Person was very polite and respectful, however, the van was rammed packed and the foam headboard had obviously been pressed against something that cut a line in the foam half way across the headboard. I rang immediately to report this and said I would accept a replacement headboard. This would take another week, during which time I am still sleeping on the floor!! The replacement headboard was coming last Thursday 24.04.25... then a phone call to say the driver had been involved in an accident and the Police had impounded his van with the headboard inside. During the whole of this absolute circus, communication has only happened when I HAVE CHASED IT! DON'T BOTHER using the 24/7 Chat - NO-ONE ANSWERS!! If you ring the office number it goes to voicemail saying the Mailbox is full and you can't leave a message!! I have sent them at least 10 EMAILS... replies have been sporadic! ... I have only been led down the garden path by MOORCROFT BEDS!
TODAY - After emailing and ringing 5 times, I received an email to say my delivery was booked for between 09.00 and 13.00. I rushed home from work, and after 3 further emails.... I gave up on the delivery arriving at 19.30.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHAMBOLIC!! My stress levels are through the roof and I AM STILL SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR!!!

Unreal bed

I was honestly nervous when I placed this order for the bed as didn’t see the reviews until after, even lost sleep because I thought the bed was going to be awful and missing things.

The bed came and the lad that delivered it was honestly lovely. We put the bed up and not missing anything from it at all literally was spot on. I honestly can’t fault them at all and the bed is unreal.

Good quality beds

Good quality beds, quick delivery and clearly communicated. There was one missing part but I emailed the team and it was resolved very quickly! For the price and quality I highly recommend :)

Unsafe bed, no customer service, and refunded only through PayPal

I ordered two children’s beds from Moorcroft Beds. Only one ever arrived — and unfortunately, that one was nothing like what was advertised.

The design was completely different from the photos on their website. The side panels were much taller, which meant that even with a thicker-than-recommended mattress, the metal brackets inside the bed were fully exposed — right next to where my child’s head would be. This felt incredibly unsafe, especially for a child’s bed.

What made it worse was that the bed didn’t have the legally required fire safety label. In the UK, that label isn’t optional — it’s a legal requirement for any upholstered furniture.

The overall build quality wasn’t reassuring either. The brackets were misaligned and poorly fitted, which made the whole thing feel rushed and not properly quality-checked.

I tried contacting the company multiple times — no response. Not even an acknowledgment. Eventually, I had to open a case through PayPal. Thankfully, they reviewed all the evidence and issued a full refund because the item wasn’t as described and the seller never replied.

I really wanted to support a smaller business, but this experience was frustrating from start to finish. Poor communication, unsafe design, and failure to meet basic legal standards. I wouldn’t recommend Moorcroft Beds to anyone.

Refused to bring bed upstairs to my house

Ordered before I had checked the reviews. Contacted me about delivery the day before and was advised the driver would call when 1 hour away, he called when he was 15 mins away. Despite online stating “2 man delivery to room of choice” the bed was delivered by 1 driver who was refusing to bring the stuff to my first floor flat (despite there being a lift). After informing him I was home lone and pregnant therefore couldn’t get the stuff upstairs he brought the bed up in the lift and stated he only done it cause I was pregnant. The mattress was too big to fit in lift so he left it downstairs and said I would need to get someone to help me bring it upstairs. I have yet to build the bed, but looking at other reviews I am worried that all the parts will actually be there.

Extremely disappointed experience with morocropt bed

I order a bed from morocropt bed and was very disappointed with my entire experience the delivery was delayed was significantly delayed without any communication when I contacted the constumer service I received unhelpful response and felt dismissed rather than assisted additionally the quality of the product not meet the advertised standard I tried reaching out multiple times for a resolution but my concern was largely ignored based on my experience I would advise potential costumer to Exercise caution and consider other options for a more reliable service

Unprofessional company - beware

I received a text message the day before providing an estimated delivery time for the following day. The text specifically said that the driver would call prior to arrival, however this was not the case. Received a telephone call when the van was outside.

The one delivery person was extremely rude, swore at me and was trying to order me around in my own house. Luckily I had a decorator completing some work at my house when the delivery arrived, however I definitely would not feel comfortable if I was on my own and subjected to such abuse.

Similar to others upon trying to assemble the bed, the two parts of the headboard do not align, neither does one side of the bed. Additionally have been sent the wrong size bracket and despite asking how they are going to resolve this I still haven’t heard anything. I wish I had of read the other reviews prior to placing my order.

Ordered on the 15th march

Ordered on the 15th march, was told delivery would be on the 21st march between 3-6pm, delivery driver rang at 10pm to say he had broken down and would be with me before 11pm at night I told them that was late as I go to bed before then and would like to reschedule, I was informed someone would contact me on Monday 23rd! No one has contacted me I’ve emailed them last Monday to be told they would deliver that week that has never happened, I’ve emailed them again no response, the phone just rings out, I will be contacting the bank for a refund! Don’t waste your time

Avoid - no communication

Was advised my bed would be delivered on 31/3/25 so I took the day off work
The van arrived but they forgot to put my bed on the van.
I asked for contact details and the drivers refused to give me a number. They were saying something about the delivery but I was unable to understand them.
I have emailed and called the office but I have not had a response. I am awaiting a full refund but struggling to even communicate with anyone

AVOID AT ALL COST

AVOID AT ALL COST ! I placed an order for both bed and mattress order was placed it said 3-5 working days. Bed came 2 days late ( 7th working day ) I Took a day off work to make sure I am in too receive the bed and mattress and no communication AT ALL ! When my bed arrived the courier driver said he does not see assembly included (On website it was offering free assembly with purchase) driver then said he normally charges £20 then went to do it for free … seems like he was trying to pull a fast one . I then asked where is the mattress and was ignored as they started speaking in their language to each other. Only for courier to advise manager of Moorcroft beds was not in the day before to update the delivery sheet ( which is odd as I placed my order the week before ) they have a contact number which might as well not be on the page as I’ve never got through to anyone ! I expressed my dissatisfaction and they were very unhelpful and disregarded my issue .. I highlighted no mattress has arrived and I was stuck sleeping in my living room for a WEEK ! NO genuine apology ! Only to be told it will be with me this Sunday (Mother’s Day ) :( I then received a call yesterday advising it will be with me by today (which it did ) but I want to make others aware .. please be careful

Ordered my bed last week! The communication was fine I emailed and was able to get through to someone who reassured me because I was panicking because of these reviews.
Bed arrived today and was put up by two lovely men! Absolutely beautiful so obsessed! My mum will also be ordering one from them nown

Review for a bed just purchased

Review for a bed just purchased. Delivered this week to my mums to find that the brackets are in the wrong place for the frame to sit on. There's staple holes in the bed which are very noticeable. Gone to put the mattress on and it has a tear in it. For over £800 bed this is not acceptable. The company never answers the phone. Want this issue sorting!!. Avoid this company at all costs.

No communication about delivery.. said on the website assembly but this was not offered at the time of delivery because they new they had missing parts .. 6 days later no apology for the delay no new date arranged to bring the missing parts …. when I talk to them they say this week!!!!
