I am just so happy with the ongoing…

I am just so happy with the ongoing experience of a good, affordable and reliable service from a company that is local and is just so easy to talk to when there are questions. I tell all my friends about Moose because it is so obviuosly good - it has no rivals. From quick and easy setup to ongoing support and service (which is hardly necessary because it is trouble-free), Moose is unbeatable. And it's Aussie.

Happy Customers for 2 years & counting

We have now been with Moose Mobile for 2 years.
We love that they are Australia-based, owned and operated.
Their low-cost Mobile services perfectly suit the needs of our Family of 5.
I recently contacted customer service to enquire about upgrading our services and was amazed to find that the process couldn't have been more simple!
There was no prolonged call hold/wait time.
I spoke with an Australian gentleman by the Name of Tony who was very polite & professional.
The whole process took less than 5 minutes and for an additional $10 per month ($2 per person) we are all able to bank any unused data up to 200GB each.
A great Australian Company, with great low-cost options and great service from agents that you can understand & communicate with easily.

Moose Mobile - Great Telco Company

Moose Mobile - what can I say except they offer great customer service, prompt and efficient. No problems with mobile service - great range of mobile plans that are affordable. Compared to other telco companies Moose Mobile outshine the rest. Very happy customer.

Best Optus network I've used

I've used a few of the Optus network mobile companies, and Moose has been my favourite so far. Good price on very low data plans, and coverage is good here in the country.

Initially thought "how can this be SOOOO... much better value"? We made the switch and not one "glitch"..... App works really well, and when needed someone to talk to on the phone.

Satisfied Client

I am very pleased with the service provided. We have recently returned from a trip to WA and the coverage really impressed me. My husband has another provider and Moose equalled if not proved better in some locations. I am a very satisfied client.

I was a Telstra customer for many years…

I was a Telstra customer for many years and all I got was bigger bills and a lot of download I did not want or need. Did I mention that I am very old. Moose gives me unlimited calls and text which is all I want and I am paying under $20. I was paying more than $50 a month with Telstra.

Very competitive plans

Very competitive plans, to date no issues with the service being unavailable due to outages etc. I am an average user of my mobile, I don't use it for watching movies etc and I have never exceeded my allowances with the plan I have, therefore no surprises at the end of the month. Being an Oz business is also an A+. Service is good, no long waiting times to speak to someone.

LOVE THE MOOSE

Ive been with moose for about 2 years now & I dont know why it took me so long to switch. They are just brilliant. I brought my own phone so signed up for the $34.80 per month with 55gig, heaps of data for so little $$!! Way better than my old plan with a big carrier who made constant billing errors and were impossible to contact when issues arose and frustrated me no end with foreign call centres with people (?) who barely spoke English. The only couple of times I've had to call Moose ive spoken to a HUMAN who is AUSTRALIAN.. ahhhh! Oh & ive spoken to someone virtually immediately instead of having to wait on hold for half an hour or longer. (Optus -i still have nightmares)
So easy to deal with, so quick to fix any issue, so friendly and professional, excellent coverage, very fair prices and overall the absolute best experience I’ve ever had with any telco. If you are debating with yourself whether or not its time to move on from your current carrier because youre not being treated so well or rewarded for your loyalty i could not recommend Moose more highly, do yourself a favour & mooove to moose!! It will be the best thing you ever did

Fast simple startup & good service

Fast simple startup, good customer service, appears to have same coverage as an Optus account. Competitive pricing too. We now have 3 Moose services & 1 Telstra.
I moved to Moose from Optus when I compared it to my children’s Moose services.

Moose Mobile Service fails to deliever

Very unhappy with Moose. I rang them about my sons phone not working (emergency phone only) i was not aware it wasnt working to the extent of the problem. 8months later i look at his phone to find out he couldnt ring our and i can not ring him. I thought it was his fault for not charging the phone, but it turns out its moose's faulty sim. They refused to give any credit and told me i had to keep paying for a service i couldn't use until i got another sim card. I am disabled so not that easy to get to shops (live in the country too) Mail takes a long time in WA. really not impressed have canceled both phone services with them and moved to another telco

OK as long as you don't go overseas

Their service in Australia is good. But awful and expensive if you go overseas. 3x the per day roaming cost of Optus, and 1/5 of the data. I need to receive ONE SMS from the bank with a transaction authorisation code so I can complete some banking. This ONE SMS requires me to deposit $200 credit into my Mouse account. Why can't I receive texts like I can with my work Vodafone number? No data or daily roaming charge required. No deposit required- you already have my credit card details, who do I need to give you my cash? A competitor offers a $20 pack which is valid for A YEAR and offers more than the daily Moose offers. I just need the SMS capability thanks to everything requiring an active mobile to do banking or even log in to my iinet account! I don't need data or calls!
Update- the reply from Moose Mobile below is misleading. Receiving an SMS is not what I call FREE, you have to deposit $200 credit into your Mouse account. Without this hot phone won't even connect to a network when you are overseas.

Reply from Moose Mobile

Hi Indulis,

Luckily it's 100% free to receive your banking SMSs while roaming overseas, so you won't need to use the $15 roaming packs once they're available.

Unfortunately the $15 rate for these packs is what we're provided at wholesale from Optus, so this is as cheap as we can go without incurring a loss. We understand that this is not as cheap as some other providers, especially if they are on the Vodafone network, but we're more of a no-frills local provider, so while roaming is definitely an option, it's not something we necessarily market ourselves on.

Please let me know if you had any other questions about the roaming packs, but as it stands you won't need to pay anything if you only intend to receive SMS while overeaseas.

Kind regards,

Max
