Tenants of Hertfordshire don’t deserve a sub standard service from these cowboys.

Dreadful experience

Dreadful experience, they either show up when not booked or don't show up when booked.
Called out for issue with a external door, was told it was okay now after bashing the hinges with a hammer, complained again second guy moved hinges made it worse. Third may I add young guy saw the issue straight away and said it needed replacing. Someone can measured it up and said it be ordered and be about 3 weeks. These weeks passed not heard so rang and said it's not been ordered, so had to wait again

I don't know who let this company work…

I don't know who let this company work at all! Is there any inspection in this country to check how they work and what they do? Very unproffesional and irresponsible people who don't even have skills nor knowlegde to do their jobs. If you report a repair they come multiple times just to take photo of the problem in your property and then leave. If you call them for emeregency they are lying that someone is on the way to get rid of you and no one ever comes. Even if they do something it is in a rush and unproffesionally.

2 year nightmare due to Morgan swindle

After 2 years of phone calls and receiving lots of broken promises requests to use there complaints procedure that is then totally ignored. My local councilor getting involved who was fobbed off with blatant lies. Our block being described as a fire hazard and a heath and safety risk to its residents Morgan Sandall appear to put more money and effort into avoiding doing any work . Luckily they are stupid enough to leave a nice paper trail of there lies and incompetent behaviour .

Rude and unreliable

Not only do they continuously miss appointments, when you do finally get through to speak to someone they're rude and unaccommodating. It wouldn't be half as bad if they did a decent job in the first place. Who knows how they got a large council contract, seems a little underhanded...

Absolutely uselss

Had a repair booked for 3/12/2024 was asked if I’d like them to avoid school run times. I said yes. Workman turned up while I was on the school run. We spoke on the phone and he rebooked the repair for 19/12/2024 between 9:30-12. Waited all day no one turned up. Called Morgan sindall to be told no repair job was booked in for today. That’s now 2 days I’ve waited at home for the same repair to be done with no one turning up. This place is an absolute joke. Repair is now booked for a 3rd time. Let’s see if someone actually turns up in the times I’ve told them I will be available!!

I have had scaffolding at the front and…

I have had scaffolding at the front and rear of my house since the 28th of November 2024. No one has been back to continue the roof project . It’s making my house dark inside and costing me money with the electricity bill. it’s a horrible sight to see also dangerous with the high winds we are now having.

Response MSPS: Unsure why you want me to email you as your HR Rep was 15 minutes late and can't be changed as it's the past. How do you suggest you rectify this?

Interviewed for a Design Engineer role where the HR Rep turned up 15 minutes late in the interview which is a joke as if the interviewee had turned up 15 minutes late then they would have been mocked.

The Irony and punchline is that I never got the job as I "apparently didn't have enough experience", at least I turned up to the interview on-time unlike the HR Rep.

So apparently according to Morgan Sindall having no hot water for three weeks is not an emergency even though both myself and my wife are both disabled and have to boil water to wash up and wash or maybe we should was in cold water twice my wife almost scolded herself carrying boiling water to the sink but still no luck in getting anyone out to fix our water twice now after waiting in all day was the plumber called in sick

Boiler Blues ...

I recently had a new Boiler installed. An Electrician who came to wire up the Central heating controls had to contact Morgan Sindall asking them to finish the electrics satisfactorily !

I would like to give 5 negative…

I would like to give 5 negative stars.Talk about big business thinking sod you we will walk all over you.
They are doing the house up a council we are Freehold.
Their scaffolding trespasses into my property and they can look into our bedroom windows as well.I had to give our privacy away so their supervisor could take pics all over the inside of our house,so to absolve them if their workings caused us problems.They have also drilled a scaffolding support into our house which supervisor said should not of happened.But it’s still there I will be trying to disconnect myself if the lot comes down that’s there fault.
As to privacy they took away ours but theirs is intact as I can’t see what goes on up on the roof .

Don’t go anywhere near these lot

Don’t go anywhere near these lot. Its taken them months to do a 2 day job, 1 comes out and does a bit then months go by then another 1 comes out and does a bit and we actually thought the work was going to be completed on Thursday but they have cancelled again.
I’m waiting to decorate my kitchen but can’t until they finish the job, I’m guessing it’s going to be next year now. It took 9 months for them to fix a dangerous fence. We have a on going complaint with them but that seems to be a waste of time.
Absolutely and utterly incompetent.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

How lucky Morgan Sindall are to have the contracts of lots of housing associations. An endless pot of gold it seems. We report, you mess it up (on purpose) and the housing association pays. Then you repeat, repeat, repeat. I have nothing but the purest contempt since over the years they have messed up, lied, been wholey incompetent or just not turned up. You take the mick out of the poorest of society, make us pay for it and then laugh all the way to the bank. Despicable, disgraceful company with no morals what so ever. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Morgan sindall wins award for terrible service Basildon

On the 29th July Morgan sindall started work on my kitchen extension they were there for about 5 days and stopped work due to a drain they knew nothing about the manhole was right in front of them. They left leaving a part dug footing and a large hole right outside of the back door I have been in constant touch with MS I have involved a local Councillor all MORGAN SINDALL say is no update as of today date 8th October I have spoken to your complaints team and was told it would be sent to the manager heard nothing so that was useless. by the way this was due to start in the spring all you get is lies and more lies I must say I don't blame the young ladies who pass on the information given to them by there bosses this is absolutely terrible company with no customer care at all I think I am left with not having many options except mp or local government ombudsman or maybe court action by the way I am 75 going on 76 and disabled I can get about but unsteady

ABYSMAL COMPANY

These people do not show up. They lie. How they are getting awarded contracts I do not know. Been left with no hot water for 2 weeks. Waited in for an AM appointment that was then changed to a PM appointment without being told. To then being told he'll be with me by 6pm. Then 8pm. Then he's 2 jobs away. Then it's 9pm and his phone is now off. I've wasted 12 hours sat in for an engineer that I don't believe had any intention of ever showing up. If I could give - stars, I would. They don't deserve the one I have to give to leave this review.

Don't bother replying with some email address for me to email either as I'm done speaking with you on this subject.

Absolutely disgusting company. Vlad the manager needs to be sacked as he can’t manage anything. Complete disaster from start to finish. Wish we could avoid cowboy companies but the council employed them! Awful terrible management

Morgan Sindall is probably the worst…

Morgan Sindall is probably the worst company i have encountered. They do not give a damn about tenants, only want to sell you what the client "Westminster" wants.
They might as well be in sales because their lies and unprofessionalism is out of this world!
If you can avoid them...do so!
1-10? I rate the -10.
As an ex employee who walked out of thier awful establishment and work ethics alongside degrading attitude...
I advise you to refrain from all advances from Morgan Sindall retrofit team.

Stay alert.

On Wednesday 13th August 2024 I called Morgan Sindall because my bathroom was flooded with water from a pipe behind the toilet, I spoke to Rosina, who told me she couldn't make an appointment for me unless I knew where the leak was coming from. I told her it was coming from the pipes in the ceiling and she said it wasn't urgent so she would book me in for 2nd September. I called back and got an appointment for Wednesday. A man came late Wednesday and said it is urgent, I need a new stop cock as he couldn't turn the water off and someone needs to cut part of the ceiling open to find the leak. He said he would report it as urgent. Someone called me the following day to say they would send someone out Friday. The guy that came today was late, so I called to ask if he was still coming and the person on the phone, Kay, said he couldn't give me any information because the phone number they have on record is different from the one I gave them and I would have to call the council to get them to correct that. I could not find one person to answer the phone at the council office. A worker from Morgan Sindall came and said he didn't have a clue what was going on but it would the stop cock changed before they could work on the leak. I called Morgan Sindall back and spoke to a lady called Iqra, who said she couldn't give me an appointment until 10th September because it's a 4 hour job. I asked her if I could speak with her supervisor and she said they can't transfer calls to the supervisors. Meanwhile I am emptying a bucket of water every few hours and find the floor flooded each morning,
