Thank you to Electrician Steve & his young lad Matt for installing my shower. They were both happy and very polite. They got the job done promptly and worked fantastic as a team. We have now been without hot water and heating for the past 4 days, due to this company condemning our main system water cylinder in the loft.
Apparently the part was only ordered on the 4th even though they condemned the cylinder on the 2nd.
They have dropped us 2 little heaters of to run a 4 bed 3 story house, we've asked for more but Morgan Sindell are saying they have dropped us 4 heaters of, even took photos of the 2 they dropped of.
Electric is running away with itself and we're on pre payment meter
They don't know when the cylinder will be in so we don't know how long we're going to be without water & heating now

I have had no hot water or heating in my property since late Christmas Day. As yet an heating engineer who is qualified to work with oil boilers has failed to attend although I have been told the necessary part has been ordered but no delivery date or indication when the repair will be undertaken. The absolute lack of communication, failure to respond to countless phone calls, complete lack of my empathy for my situation beggars belief. I have emailed to the link you supply via your replies on here but have yet to recieve a response. Absolutely shocking

The the plumbers or the gas engineer they don’t finish the job and instead of coming the following day, they will close the job and they will tell you to raise the job again, and I’ve been waiting for two weeks just to fix the heater that they messed up, and the promise you they will show up, they will never and the Customer Service would fill you with false hope, time and Ivan had Yta for five days

Again another complaint I'm sorry to say. Don't know how much room this company needs! Living on a one way system and they have literally taken over the tiny bit of road that we had left. It's not much room for cars etc and having to drive over pavement to get past but heaven forbid if an emergency vehicle had to get past. And I have a photo of the very limited space.

Been waiting at home today for a rescheduled appointment (from November) to complete works on falling render and damp, first reported in August 2023. We had a text update yesterday to say an MS engineer would be attending our property today. No one showed up so I rang MS (25mins on hold) to be told the engineer is now on holiday(!!!!!!!) and they have rescheduled (without informing us) for 11 January. I'm stunned.

Reported a leak on 5th October, got a plumber round 2 weeks later - he refused to do anything as we have an asbestos tank, had to keep calling - was advised that a manager would call - never received any, finally was advised that today 14th December it would be sorted, plumber arrived and refused to do the work due to the same asbestos tank being there, a plaster turned up also to fix ceiling - opened my front door to a face full of smoke as he was smoking - advised him plumber has done nothing - he then left as well, call several times to try and find out what is happening and at this point I still have received no calls, still have a huge flow of water leaving my house and this is day 49 - what a complete JOKE this company is

Let me tell you the truth. Not a story.
I have 70 year old zinc square gutters. They leak leak leak.
Fourteen years ago a piece of soffit head me on the head . They replaced soffit then with wood. I quaffed above it then. I. June this year pieces on the new replaced soffit of WOOD fell.. Fourteen years later
Only to be covered by plastic.
The wet rotten soffit not taken down. Now the rotten wet wood. Can not breath or drain. There Will be a total collapse. So everyday now.. There is a possibility of a large piece of soffit heading me on the head.

Contacted twice in 1 day with two different appointment days and times. Then received a message to say it was cancelled and rescheduled to 22 December. I was given 02039858221 to call back to change if not doable. They've hung up 4 times on the phone today. You have a contract with our local authority and you treat people disgracefully. I'm glad they'll be getting rid of you. Absolutely appalling business and customer service. They have contempt for residents.

I have been waiting 6 months for the leak in the flat above's balcony to be fixed. The leak in the balcony above is leaking into my kitchen below. Everytime I ring I get told that Morgan Sindall are waiting for Basildon council to approve the cost for the scaffolding. I am told they will ring me back but no-one does. I am really concerned that the kitchen ceiling will collapse.

The man on the switchboard virtually called me a liar, but apart from him the man who came to lay my flooring who was very helpful, made a beautiful job of my new floor, the job in the end took 4 days, I was kept informed by the workman each day on the progress and he was respectful and caring with the way he completed the job he did.

Easily the worst company to exist. I've had no hot water for a month and they've had gas engineers,plumbers and electricians all come out and say different things. Not one of them have a clue what they are doing. This isn't the first time I've had such dreadful experiences with them and I don't know how they are even continuing to exist. They will go into receivership and go out of business.

As a Westminster contractor MS are contracted to undertake annual gas safety inspections. They seem unable to fulfil this commitment so now write to the tenant offering an appointment and the tel number they give you to rearrange if not suitable is not a valid number. When you then rearrange through the Council they fail to turn up. Council says they are short of engineers.

Came to look at the job and said they would be back. When i rang to ask when they were coming back, a surprised person asked if i had not been told and told me the date. The didn't come, rang again got another date did not come. No phone call to say the were not coming, no idea when the next time they intend to come because they don't inform you.

Main house door would not be opened and stranded with 4 kids in dark, cold weather, no access to toilet as kids finished school. Raised a fault at 1520 , rude female operator as stated to go somewhere else to use toilet , no compassion and no welfare of a vulnerable family with an autistic child. Its 1828 and no contractor is to be seen.
Finally , technician arrived at 1945 and replaced a defective door key barrel-Very grateful to the guy but the female operator should be disciplined for arrogance, dismissivecand careless employee

i am a longhurst tenant phoned in my repair on the 3rd nov 2023 told someone would ring me within 48 hours to arrange a apointment but got go call then rang again on the 9th nov 2023 my details added to call log for a call back no call back rang again today and told i will get a call back within 48 hours. bet i dont get a call back. come on morgan sindall sort yoursef out before you lose the contract with longhurst.
