Non-professional advice and lot of missinformation! The person calling was arrogant and didn't collect all info, he collects the info (he wants or hears) to book you for the advisor, then the advisor the same day of the "meeting" wants to cancel it because he didn't saw the profit on the application.

Absolutely horrendous experience. We were totally misadvised through poor information gathering at the start. We have paid them £299 to basically spend 4 weeks chasing them. When things didn’t go to plan they went radio silent and the broker was unavailable to discuss difficulties, often leaving us over weekends anxious and concerned. Would have had less stress doing it alone. We have now cut our losses and gone with another broker as the stress of dealing with them was too much and I can’t deal with another couple of months of it, worth losing the £299 to get out of the relationship with them!

Was wrongly advised and delayed by inexperienced broker which caused a delay and made me lose money as fix rate switched to variable after 2 months of delays and getting nowhere. Managers took over finally and where very deflective of the loses as if nothing had happened and totally inconsiderate of the fact that I am losing money everyday cause of it. Even after assigning of senior broker process was not as smooth or taking the urgency it needed. They demanded their fees, now even the completion fee by totally ignoring the fact that they caused me a direct loos that is more than their fees, without ever acknowledging the loss caused or offering to waive any of the fees.

Instructed the wrong solicitors, poor communication skills and therefore significant delays and costs incurred ... Did not do what they said they would and do not bother to respond to emails. AVOID

Decided to pay a fee to get independent advise on mortgages. They clearly state, they do not work for commission. So imagine my surprise to see that they were receiving nearly £1000 from the building society, on top of my £500 fee. Had a quick look at similar mortgages and was easily able to find ones with much lower rates...
Have forwarded complaint to Financial Ombudsmen.

Excellent from beginning to end! Yes you have to pay fees but I would say definitely worth it because they took the stress out of dealing with the mortgage company direct!! Sean and Yasser helped me out so much and were realistic from the get go! Honestly couldn't be happier that I now own my home. Amazing service provided by Nigel Williams - a great mortgage adviser who is willing to help you with every little step of the way and willing to go beyond for your mortgage to be sorted out with the lender. It is a long process to get a mortgage finalised but it's all worth it in the end!

I cannot recommend Which Mortgage Advisers enough. Tara went ABOVE & BEYOND the call of duty in our opinion. And we were difficult customers! Her down to earth personality but very professional attitude made the whole process stress free and put our minds at ease the whole way through. We will never be using anyone else if we need a mortgage in the future. Sally & Carl.

Torturous Which Mortgage Advisors remortgage which seemed to go on forever. Marred by poor communications, unanswered emails, no personal service, requests for duplicate documents because advisors could not be bothered to read their notes, blame attributed to the holidays and people not being in work and essentially poor accountability all round. No due diligence checks on the free legals which come as part of their recommended providers service. Complete abdication of responsibility for poor service and time keeping of their lender and subsidiaries.

On complaining it gets even worse. They take 4 weeks minimum to investigate what is essentially, and ironically, an inefficient and slow customer service complaint. They then offer you a £50 take it or leave it final offer of compensation off your final fee of £200, this is after you have already given them £299 plus the lender has given them over £1200 so they have essentially been remunerated quite well whilst you have been chasing and waiting for every scrap of information. We did not receive a completion date until days before the actual completion despite repeated requests.

Finally after they ignore your requests for a phone call you phone to get involved with a second hand car sales type line of customer service where they to and fro upping your original compensation by another £50. Frankly its appalling, the person on the phone had no idea of what service recovery was or how to genuinely deal with a grievance, they also had no idea about net promotor customer service scores or how to turn a negative situation into a positive one. If you want speedy, efficient and personal remortgage advice go elsewhere.

Which helped us with some complex mortgage arrangements which were far from normal. They were clear, concise, and found us a great deal despite a false start. Great company, great staff. I especially liked the secure payment method they use whilst taking payments on the phone.

I had difficulties and wanted to remortgage. My then existing provider was unable to help other lenders also proved problematic. Which found me a lender to remortgage and the assistance provided was excellent. Can't rate them highly enough.

I have just been introduced to Which Mortgage Advisers to help with a remortgage deal after our five year deal expired with Nationwide.

Nationwide were not able to make us a great offer (even though we had been clients for five years...).

My advisor at Which (Susannah White) was excellent and got us an amazing deal with the TSB.

I can honestly say what a pleasure it was to deal with them....excellent service and did what they said they would do without fail or excuse.

Would recommend them very highly....

I've never really understood mortgages, but the Which? Mortgage service took me through it in a very easy to understand and non-patronising way. It's nice to know that you can trust them in an industry that has a bad reputation for mis-trust. Not salesy or pushy - extremely happy with the service
